My sister Marguerite has said this is a good place to meet people, and I suppose I need new friends since most of mine are...not here. My name is Armand St. Just and I've just moved back to California a week or so ago. I'll be a student at UCLA studying philosophy, and I've been at Harvard the last three years, so it will be interesting. I'm still trying to get moved into my new apartment, but I figured I would see what the people in the area are like. So...hi.

I think I need to go for a run or something. Anybody else into running? Just need to move or all I'm going to want to do is sleep. That seems lame for a weekend night before midnight.

I just had a coworker as me to help them with getting their measurements. But with the measuring tape used for construction or measuring furniture, as opposed to the type used for sewing and taking body measurements....I tried to explain there's a difference but I guess she'll just have to make do with what we got?

Between the need to promote the tea shop and I guess interact with people more, I was pointed here. Hello, my name is Christine. I'm starting to wonder if I really should have stayed in Paris. It was kind of nice forgetting how crazy the OC can get...

...Today my nose informed me that he has a name and does not appreciate being mocked by myself or by others. I did not realize that a part of my body was taking offense to me being myself, but apparently he cannot stand me. Does this mean I am actually allowed to have him removed now. He did, along with English, make my high school years hell...

I got back from Paris a little later than anticipated... And I've only just now recovered from jet lag... And Father's day....

But! I have souvenirs! Who wants some Eiffel Tower keychains and post cards? :)

Well, someone just surprised me with tickets to Paris, so who am I to turn down a week vacation? I haven't been since we moved when I was a child... It'll be nice to go back!

Sup, everyone? So I just found this network blog forum whatever thing and thought I'd hit it up. I'm Stiles, by the way, nice to meet you all- not that I've actually met anyone on here yet and I don't know if it would actually BE nice, but whatever.

While I am trying to keep this as low-key as possible... Let's just say that I've recently acquired a theater and it is my intention to make it a hub of activity once the renovations are complete.

To those looking for a job in the theater, I implore you to contact me. I apologize in advance for any delay in my response, since I am still getting the hang of all of this.

Everything is going along splendidly at the theatre. I couldn't ask for a better crew. So very good at following even my somewhat picky instructions.

I have to admit, it's very tempting to sneak into the basement and start building my own little space, like I saw in my dreams. But there's no lake under this theatre, unfortunately, which completely kills the ambiance.

My show opens this weekend. At last! So, who can I count on seeing there for my big debut?

...How exactly does one go about getting one of those things? The word that starts with "J" and ends in "B"? I might be needing one.

I apologize for the unofficial delivery of this request, but before this singing thing wears off at least, I assume and hope it will, my theatre is still accepting auditions of the musical variety. Even if you're not serious about it, I'd like to see what the OC has to offer. Think of it as karaoke or a small-time American Idol. And on a proper stage! The lights are up and working now, thanks to my competent contractors.

I had the most wonderful dream, last night.

I dreamed that I built the Paris Opera House.

Well, not only me. Charles Garnier (no relation) helped, of course. He and I struck up a sort of odd friendship, in this dream world of mine. We worked together for fifteen years to build the opera house of our collective dreams.

And the best part -- oh, my friends, the best part was that I had my very own palace.

Deep underneath the Paris Opera House, I had a vast and complicated house, with its own lake. One had to get there by boat. By boat! How romantic.

And Aisha was there with me, as always. My little princess, of course she would wiggle her way into my dreams.

It seems that all within days of each other, everything's been looking up for me... Or maybe it's been weeks. I've hardly been able to tell.

Right now everything's seeming to run into one another and I don't mind one bit. Between the vocal lesson, getting that role... And more recently, a dear.... friend... from my childhood has shown up and it's just...

I'm wondering how long my good luck will run or if it plans on running out anytime soon!

So I just realized, doing a quick dry run for Thursday that the project i had in mind isn't gonna happen with me at the helm. Any florists on this thing willing to work at extremely short notice? I'll pay double, and it won't be BIG. Or am I completely screwed for getting a floral hair wreath ordered and done in time?

To those of you that even care to know, you're looking at the new Marian Paroo in The Music Man... It's only a small theater's production, but I guess it's a start in the direction that most of you wanted to see me in... And because of that, I expect each of you there on opening night to make sure I don't croak.

I never did any sort of official hello on here, and then the Blue Plague thing happened and I was kind of distracted. And also trapped in a hospital because of quarantine, not because I was sick.

I'm a law student at UCLA. My name's Eugène Lesgle de Meaux, aka L'Aigle, aka Eagle, aka Bossuet. Only my mom calls me Eugène. Mainly I answer to L'Aigle or Bossuet. Bossuet's a...pun relating to French language stuff and it's a little complicated, but I like it.

Anyway, hello party people and people who are no longer stuck under quarantine!

Is it against the law to sing while I work on my rose garden?

More importantly, is it against the law to murder obnoxious, nosy neighbours who complain about my singing? Clearly these people have no taste or ear for music, or they'd be throwing money at my feet.

Though admittedly I wasn't trying very hard to sound good, it's better than any of them could do, I'm certain.

There's nothing wrong with being content in the ensemble, is there?

My professors are urging me to strive for lead roles, or at least supporting ones... But the background roles are equally important, I think.

Sorry, maybe it's because I'm nervous about this weekend's audition...
