I apologize for the unofficial delivery of this request, but before this singing thing wears off at least, I assume and hope it will, my theatre is still accepting auditions of the musical variety. Even if you're not serious about it, I'd like to see what the OC has to offer. Think of it as karaoke or a small-time American Idol. And on a proper stage! The lights are up and working now, thanks to my competent contractors.

...I won't be performing myself, I can all but assure you.

Oh, that sounds like fun! I'd like to audition.

The theatre is a large colonnaded piece of architectural artwork at [this address]. You can't miss it. There will be a bit of a delay on actual casting until renovations to the theatre are complete, but it never hurts to discover new talent. I'm looking forward to your audition.

Surely that magnificent stage deserves more than a karaoke night.

It certainly does, but the rest of the theatre is not yet ready to receive proper events. I'm considering this "exposure" for now. Advertising is, unfortunately, necessary. No matter how gauche.

Too true, too true. Mr. Kenobi and I will continue on the rest of the theatre, now that the stage is in working order.

Speaking of auditions, there are two of my students I'd like you to consider, for future endeavors. One is a Mr. Robert Frobisher, who is a more than capable pianist.

The other, more to your advertisement, is a Miss Christine Daaé. A bit shy, but I assure you once she comes out of her shell properly she will be a marvelous leading soprano.

I would certainly love to speak with Mr. Frobisher. A good pianist is absolutely necessary. Would you like to warn him of my interest, or shall I contact him directly?

As for Miss Christine Daaé, she and I are childhood friends. She mentioned that you were teaching her, and I was going to bring it up to you but the renovations took over as the priority. I'm really pleased to hear you have such high praise for her. She was a wonderful singer when I first met her, and she's done nothing but improve since then. I suppose I have you to thank for your part in that. Also, with your recommendation, I feel I can hire her as lead soprano with less of an obvious bias.

I've forewarned him, feel free to contact him at will.

Oh, I had no idea you and miss Daaé knew each other! What a happy coincidence. She's improved greatly since I've started with her, but I think most of that is just building her self confidence, she was marvelous to begin with.

Glad to hear it. Proper casting won't actually begin until renovations on the theatre are complete, but I'm looking for the right people to call when the time comes.

Come by the theatre at [this address]. I'm usually there during daylight hours.

I'm still relatively new myself, and the venue is a work in progress. But you are most welcome. It's good to meet new people when you're first getting settled into a place.

When you come for the audition, I'm Raoul de Chagny.

Thomas Raith.

Let me know if you need a hand with anything. I have some spare time I'd be willing to donate,

M. Raith, I would really appreciate a hand with anything, but a "donation" of your time isn't necessary unless you insist. When we meet in person, we'll talk about that.

I understood, and I meant that I have it in my budget to pay any individuals who are interested in working in or on the theatre. I don't like getting something for nothing (although that attitude is probably unpopular with my accountants). I feel it makes things more worthwhile for all parties involved.

But do come to the audition. I find it's best to discuss these things in person.
