A friend of mine, who teaches an art class, asked me if I'd model for her class this week. Now how could I say no? And before you ask, no, I won't be nude modeling. I prefer to keep my clothes on when I'm modeling. Well most of them anyway. It should be interesting though. I've never modeled for a art class or anything like it.

Curious, have you had anymore dreams?

I've been contemplating my dreams some more. There's so much my dream father showed me. Places he took me as a girl that I've only dreamed about here. Morocco, New Zealand, India...I'm filled with an irrational anger at my father. Why didn't he take me places here? Why was I only able to visit these ancient worlds in my imagination instead of actually being able to feel the earth in my fingers and hold something that hadn't been touched by another human being for hundreds of years? For that matter, why didn't Roth teach me half the things he did in these dreams?

It's not fair to be angry, and my father isn't around for me to yell at. And Roth doesn't deserve to be.

I found the thing, they wouldn't shut up.

I've been told that I need friends. Because I only have two.

So hello. I'm Lydia. I like clothes. And this is pointless and ridiculous.

The worst thing about being the new guy is having to work on Sundays. The office is literally empty except for me and the janitor, and even he keeps giving me looks of pity.


If anyone wanted to bring a lonely lawyer some coffee, it wouldn't go unappreciated.

The Fest of Ale yesterday was great. Even the run was pretty good fun, but my head's not thanking me so much this morning.

Ah well. Completely worth it, to tell you the truth. Hope everyone else that went had an equally good time, and that the hangovers aren't too terrible.

So, I'm thinking about adopting a dog since my place seems a little lonely. I've been wanting a dog for a while and now seems like a good time. I was looking at the OC Humane Society and there's too many cute dogs to choose from. I don't think I want a small dog, but the rest seem like they would be about the right size.

So, give me your opinions! You can check the dogs out here. And if there's one you really want to adopt let me know and I'll make sure not to adopt them. It's a win/win here.

I think I had one of those Dreams you guys keep talking about. It was a little disconcerting, but ... pretty close to my own life. Instead of an inventor for a father, I had a museum curator.

They were kind of boring, actually.

So much has been going on lately. I think the hardest thing has been trying to figure out how to start wedding planning. Obviously neither Loras or I have been married before, so the most we've been doing is looking at various wedding planning sites and none of them are really very helpful, so this wedding planning is harder than I'd thought it would be.

Tomorrow night I'm flying back to London for the first time in quite a few months. I'm excited to be going back, but it's a different sort. I've reasons to come back, this time.

It's nice.

Sometimes venting on the network brings you a solution that makes the night oh so much sweeter. Ah had so much fun last night, ah don't even know how to start.

Oh man, ah had almost as much fun last night as ah do when we hit up that club.

I think I might have to go take a trip to visit my Grandmother back home soon. It's been a while and she usually has me help decorate her house for the holidays and she wants to see me before Thanksgiving happens. Which I am super excited about because she makes the most amazing Thanksgiving dinner ever, but I'm extremely biased in that opinion.

So, what's everyone's favorite fall activity? I'm kind of looking forward to the fun Halloween horror events that go on. Who doesn't love being scared? Oh and apple cider.
