I'm curious about something. Has anyone ever made a significant life change based on these dreams?

Don't call it a comeback. Unless you want to, that is. I mean, here I am, coming back.

Anyone miss me?

I had a lead on my brother, but it went cold. Now I'm back in Cali. My apartment's is disgusting and I'll be spending the day cleaning it.

I had a strange, scary moment today at the coffee shop. I sort of... blacked out. Kinda. I had this moment where I was in a different place or time, it was weird. Like I was dreaming, but I was awake? And I knew what was going to happen next. It was brief, and I think I may have been hallucinating, or something, but I could tell what the person in front of me was going to order. Right before it happened. She ordered a skinny vanilla latte and a blueberry scone. And I knew she was going to. I just... knew.

So, I just read that it's National Hot Dog Day. I think that means I need to get some hot dogs. Is there any place in or around Irvine that has really good hot dogs? It's times like these that I miss Chicago. I miss real Deep Dish pizza and Superdawg.

If my dreams could stop giving me stupid powers, I'd appreciate that. I get it, demigod, but... being able to vaguely sense what's essentially the very heartbeat of the universe is just strange.

I never thought I'd say this, but my job's actually gotten easier since Seiya decided to embrace his flaming side. The initial drama with the Korean side of his label aside, most people were pretty accepting of it all.

And our new label will actually let us be the Three Lights. Not really something I thought I'd ever do, but... it's still nice.

Dear Old Ugly Man Who Tried To Pick Me Up At Lunch Today,

If you start telling me that you're a stock analyst, and then you don't know what I'm talking about when I ask you if you would risk buying a cyclical stock, I am going to laugh at you. And then I will enjoy when you storm out of the restaurant without your faux-Gucci wallet.

For those of you who don't know, a cyclical stock is a stock that's really sensitive to economic twists and turns. Definitely one of those things that if you actually work in the stock market, you'd know.

Some men get so pathetic when they're no longer young.

This whole royal baby thing is ... A little out of hand? I think?

I mean. Congrats, and I get (sort of), where the cheer comes from? But literally every newspaper and news site and every other facebook post is, well. Royal baby based. I get it. The kid was born, he's a boy, everyone's happy.

How long do you think until it passes?

I'm glad things have gone back to normal again. The city is much easier to handle when it's at its regular level of drama.

Big Mac, I'm sorry I haven't come to see you yet, does your offer still stand? I've really been looking forward to working in your orchard.

I feel like I ought to have something profound to say, whenever I post here, but I never do. Does that make me a terrible Avatar?

I'm thinking I might use some of the vacation time I have coming to get out of the city for a change. I'm feeling the need to stretch my wings. And I do mean stretch my wings.

Preferably some place where it won't cause a sensation.

That is the coolest thing I have seen in a while. I read that she's 60-something and not actually a grandmother. She was also in one of the first girl groups in her area, which is awesome! I am so impressed that she's kept those skills for a long time and I really hope that I get to be like that when I'm older. Now I just want to sit around playing on my drums and forget the rest of the world.

Grace and I were watching television today, and we came across a mixed martial arts fight. It was two men, rolling around and punching each other in the head, mostly on the ground. They wound up with one on top of one another.

My eleven-year old daughter looked at me and said "Papa, isn't this kind of homoerotic?"

My eleven year old daughter knows the word homoerotic. I'm inexplicably impressed and worried at the same time.

And I thought I was good to go on dreams since they hadn't hit me yet, but apparently not. And I'm apparently a terrible person in these dreams as of right now. Klaus and I invaded the high school and were completely horrible to people I actually know here! Elena, Stefan, Caroline, and some of their friends. Something about dopplegangers and Elena having the necklace I really want. And to make things even more awkward, I've enrolled in the high school and I'm living with the Salvatores because Klaus ditched me. And apparently I want to date Caroline's random boyfriend that I've never met. This is like the weirdest repeat of high school drama ever.

How do you tell your family about dreams that greatly affect them? I've seen our "past" in my dreams and I'm afraid to tell them.

We need to get together to discuss these dreams. I've had some very important ones that we need to talk about.

Well, I caved and got myself a cat. He's a bit of an unpredictable thing, but I've named him Sebastian. Looks a bit like a small, domesticated tiger, but seems to think he's a large, wild tiger.

I'm torn between fondness and irritation.

A bug crawls across your perfect, pristine workspace, and instead of screaming or trying to capture it to release it outside into its natural habitat, I wondered how many bells it would bring in.

THIS IS NOT RIGHT.

I've started a different kind of reading circle at the library. If your kids are interested in joining they can, but these are choose your own adventure novels. Remember those? Anyway, so the way I have it going is that each week, the kids come together and a group of three or whatever, depending on the size, will work together to read through a chapter, and they will all decide together what adventure to go onto, and the next group will be assigned to reading off that chapter the next week.

So far it's going pretty good, but man oh man did I mess up a bit in thinking they'd actually get along in deciding the next path.

Since my birthday is next Monday, I want to do something this weekend. Does anyone know of any clubs that I could take over for the night? Say, Saturday? I want to actually remember my birthday this year. Most of last year is a haze.
