Gotta love Valentine's Day. Domestics go up by double, and I get to take in quadruple the recommended dose of caffeine. Yay! And now I get to file paperwork until I can't see straight.

I hope everyone had a positively wonderful day yesterday. I certainly did.

Somehow I've come out of it with a boyfriend, which is mildly disconcerting was definitely not what I expected. And yet I couldn't feel happier about it.

Strange.

That's all. I felt it was groundbreaking enough to make the announcement. I'm going back to bed, where a good looking blond is waiting for me.

The meteor in Russia was moving on an East to West trajectory. If it came from the asteroid approaching us, it would have moved South to North.

So take comfort, it was probably isolated.

Or we have something coming we haven't seen yet.

How many weird things are going to be up there this week?

I probably shouldn't entertain the idea of stealing the giant meteor and making it into a private vacation home. Even if it amuses me. I don't think I have a net big enough.

I had an awesome dream about a post-apocalyptic world and fighting bad guys and waging war across a desert-like landscape and there was high tech everywhere and monsters and good guys and I even had a cool name!

I like this dream. It was really long. I mean, it felt like it was, but then I woke up and it was only an hour later. Weird.

Wowsers.

Its hard to explain how excited and in awe I am of the fact that a lump of rock half the size of a soccer field has just come inside the orbits of our geosynchronous satellites and had it's orbit irrevocably altered by Earth's gravitational pull!

It kind of makes me hot...

Well since I'm going to be here for a while I guess I should introduce myself and I've been told this is the place to do it.

I'm Nina, I'm a nurse from the UK and I've recently got a job at St Josephs Hospital. And I spend most of my time with our terminal patients.
