I don't think Nessie liked seeing Santa all that much. The poor little thing started crying her little eyes out when we took her for her portrait.

While I don't find this strictly necessary, the board seems to think registering for this network is. Since there's no reason not to, here I am. It's not like I have anything better to do. Wait. I do.

So say you accidentally burned through some drywall and a stud or two with a lightsaber. Does anyone know if that would be easy to repair or if I should just take the hit and accept that I will never get my deposit back.

You know what, I don't even care. I had a very pleasant dream and woke up with a lightsaber. This is an awesome day.

Okay, so Qui-gon says I'm the 'chosen one'. So that along with the fact that mother claimed I had no father, I'm calling it now: I'm space Jesus. It totally makes sense.

Oh, and Obi-wan and the Jedi Council think I'm dangerous. Technically I'm a nine year old boy but I've still managed to spook a bunch of Jedi. I won't lie, I'm very happy for the kid, managing that.

Well, there goes my afternoon.

I really shouldn't be laughing, but my housemate seems to be plagued with those speech bubbles other people around this place.

It's not funny. In fact I'm certain it's very frustrating for him!

If anyone was wondering I went out and bought a book. Not a Nook or a Kindle or an iPad but an actual book. The binding fell apart. Yeah, I should have gotten an electronic one.

I think I might be getting the hang of this internet thing! I've ordered books off Amazon now, though I haven't been able to purchase one of those electronic readers. I enjoy the smell and feel of books too much.

I've also looked at that netflicks business! Quite interesting, and so many films I haven't seen! I quite like the period dramas.

What's next? Tweeter?

So people of the Net, do blondes really have more fun as they say? Because I'm starting to think it's time for a new hair color. Dumb blonde jokes get old after a while.

So I managed to get a little part-time job doing tech-support in an internet cafe. This is all good.

The bad is that the new delivery guy keeps trying to hit on me. His name's Mustafa, I've dealt with him 3 times and he's nice and all, but this last time he decided he wanted to take me on a holiday to see his family for Christmas in Somalia! I mean, wtf? Literally, we have not been in each other's company for anywhere close to an hour and all of a sudden this?! And it's that awkward flirting where I can't quite understand him properly because his accent's so thick that I just nod and say yes to a fair amount of what he's saying. Talk about a fast mover!

Summer bucket lists are overrated. They are always boring and read like: go to the beach, have a summer fling, go on a trip, be lazy. Yawn. I have to admit I am already looking forward to fall and college. Because honestly, there a lot of people that should not be walking around in swimsuits and shirtless.

So turns out, when you have a super sexy girlfriend who hangs around the house naked half the time... it really makes it quite difficult to get any real work done. But! I did manage to get this piece done and I think it might actually revolutionize noise-cancelling headphones. To a degree never reached before. I now have to head into the lab to actually put it to use, but this could come in supremely handy for public use, sure. But really, it'll help with those who work with guns, or in factories with loud noises, or construction sites, airports.

Oh, man, working on this website has been such a thrill! Even if I'm up at insanely odd hours. Have to get as much time in on it as I can while the inspiration sticks. <3 Loving my job, though!

Things have been pretty good lately, I've started up my own company called Connor Computing Ltd and already have a number of contracted work and a few good consultants working with me.

So if anybody needs any computer assistance, security, software, hardware, anything really drop me a line and I'll see what I can do.

Not sure how I feel about harvesting human organs from other animals. From an intellectual perspective, it's absolutely fascinating. Another step forward in scientific research. From a moral perspective, though? I don't know where humans and animals fall on the "who's more important" scale. Is a life a life, or is one life more valuable than the other?

I'm glad I work with computers. We don't have the same kinds of moral dilemmas. Well, until the robots become sentient.

So I actually made it to the end of school. Thank whatever is out there that it's all over. Skipped graduation ceremony thing. Load of rubbish anyway and I don't need to attend to collect my official bit of paper in a few weeks anyway.

So now to sort out what I'm doing. Few jobs lined up already which is good. Might just see where that takes me to be honest.

Anyone other than me realize just how boring graduations actually are? It is just a bunch of people telling us over and over again today is the first day of the rest of our lives... What does that make tomorrow? The ending? They don't even give you a piece of paper saying you did it... I have to pick it up in a few weeks.

Now I can focus on my new movie auditions! It is time to move from the little screen to the big screen.

Umm...hi, total noob here, just moved here and got settled in and while I was surfing I found this network, and although some of you seem to be having really weird experiences you seem cool, so figured I'd introduce myself.

So...yeah...I'm Felicity Smoak, moved here from Massachusetts looking for a new place to do...techy, computer-y stuff for cash. Basically a job. Any recs?

It's weird, being out at sea and just enjoying myself. I'm used to working a lot, and this rest thing is slow to catch on. I think I startled the cruise ship staff by actually using the gym room, which apparently not a lot of people did, recently.

And of course, there's the weird thing, I still have no powers. Whatever changed back there in the OC, my powers are still gone, utterly. And I don't miss them one bit. Sure, yeah, it's weird, but... nope, I don't miss them. I hated those power, with a burning passion.

The time has come for me to embrace the world of technology. Well, I've already done that with the smart phone and Bluetooth always in my ear. I haven't done anything like this.

Since I'm new to this I'm going to start with introducing myself. I'm Tatia.

A few more weeks and I'll be free from this plague we call high school. I won't miss it really, I won't. The adults always tell you you will miss it but they're lying. They really just miss their youth not that dreaded place. I am certainly buying myself a new camera as a reward for making it through.

So, I started a new job last week. And it's great and all, this isn't really about the job anyway.

But I wear suits. And, you know, I have a few different ones, so I don't look like a slob all the time. And today when I got home I realized that I was wearing a suit and tie identical to the ones I died in my dreams? And, you know, subsequently was wearing when I woke up again in my dreams.

My real suit is less blood stained though.

Thank God.

Anyway. Does this happen to people a lot? Like, subconsciously you just put these outfits together without even realizing it?

I considered quitting school but I graduate so soon I guess I might as well stick it out.

No idea what to do after though. No way I can stand more school. Anybody know any jobs for a computer nerd?

Ever have one of those days where nothing goes right?

You think it'd be easier to get up in the morning when you go to bed early. But nope. Stupid damn alarm clock doesn't wanna work and then I'm late for work. Again.

I swear I'm gonna get fired.

Spent such a large portion of the week finishing up personal taxes, shop taxes and office taxes that I completely missed out on the fact that it was my own birthday, yesterday.

Odd, how little it seems to matter after a certain number of years.

Anyone know anything about projectors and canvases? I was given one by an old friend of mine, and I have no idea what the fuck I'm doing with it. It's apparently high definition, as if that really matters.

I'm very glad that people seem to be keeping their clothing on, these days. And eternally grateful that most of my projects can be completed from home, if need be.

My poor virgin eyes. I'm English, I don't do will with excessive nudity.

Just realized my birthday's in a week. Good thing I've never been much into large parties, otherwise I'd be terrible for last minute planning.

I guess I've been so focused with the weirdness and the dreaming. Maybe I'll head round to a pub. You're all more than welcome to join.

I fell asleep on my couch about four hours ago, and dreamt I was a child again and my father was telling my brother and I stories of old. Like he used to.

Funny how something so normal can turn into something a bit bizarre, isn't it?

Saturday can't come soon enough, it seems. Though it seems unfortunate I should look so much better in gold horns than you do in silver wings. :)

I remember sleep. Before the nightmares. I kind of miss it. And that's why I'm still awake.

Anyone else scared to fall asleep? Not in a Nightmare Before Elm Street way, in a not wanting to dream horrible things way.

Finally broke down and picked myself up a flat screen TV; guy at the store somehow conned me into a Blu-Ray player. There was a discount on it when I got the TV; not that I ever intend to buy a damn blu-ray disc. Most films today suck horrifically.

What I do need is a new VCR, mine's been shot for awhile now and apparently no one sells them anymore. But I've got some old movies I prefer to watch, and they're only on VHS.

Fuck it, I'm going to have a cigar and a whiskey-coke on the balcony, and then probably pop off to bed.

I have yet to feel the urge to sing and it feels wonderful.

I've been spending my off time at the hospital in the morgue with Molly and Nina has joined us when she's had off time, because it's far less likely for one of the corpses to start singing and so far the three of us seem to be immune.

Has anyone ever seen a choreographed song and dance routine in an ER waiting area? Yeah, I hadn't either until today. I mean, the ER is not where you would expect people to be singing.

I lied. My dreams are terrifying me and I hate them.

I'm never sleeping again. Even having Giles here isn't helping me sleep better.

Isn't this dreaming thing freaking fantastic? I mean really. What did I do in this other life or whatever to deserve this? Oh wait, I was forced to fight to the death with other children. That must be it. Everyone else gets to dream about being superheros and doing awesome things and I have to dream about a world were children are forced to murder each other.

How many times in life can a person draw the short straw? Yes, that's supposed to be a rhetorical question.

Rapid fire. Had another one last night, too. Bizarre. This time I was in the TARDIS by myself. The Doctor was on the earth, sharing a flat with someone... Being in the TARDIS by myself was certainly an experience, that's for sure. She wouldn't land--couldn't land... not sure.

Anyway, strange that I got two in a row after not having any dreams for a while.

Right, so now we're all having weird dreams. That's not ... creepy, or anything at all.

Is it proper to suggest going to see a horror movie for Valentines day? I mean that's really what I feel like when that holiday comes around. Romantic gestures on V-day just feel fake, staged, and unreal. I know I just made myself unpopular with a lot of people but if you love someone you should show them every day as it's expected on holidays.

The best thing about everyone being sick? That there are no lines any where because people are either too sick to come out or are afraid they're going to catch what is being referred to as the plague. Well, that's unless you're at the grocery store or the pharmacy. Then you're either stocking up in case this is some sort of plague or getting medicine that probably won't work because they don't typically work too well on viruses.

I guess I'm just lucky because I've been around oodles of sick people at school and I feel great. There has to be a some that have immunity and I mine as well be one of them. Survival of the fittest and all that crap.

I think I've spent too much time at the hospital with mom and I've caught something. I feel like crap. Bed seems like a great idea for the next week or so.

Statistically speaking the quietest part of the day is 3am. It is when people are most likely to be asleep. It is eerily haunting but there is something about the silence that makes it easier to think.

Anyone else find that it is one of their favorite times of the day?

I just got back from Kansas.

I never want to go to Kansas again.
