I guess I get to be the latest candidate on the OC's favorite gamer show, Who's a Dreamer? And man? My dreams really kind of are the annoying kind. Who wants to be a genetically engineered pseudo-clone of a freaking clone? What the hell is that all about?

And brainwashed? My dreamself is a puppet, with no will of his own and no thoughts of his own. This is seriously a freaking weird thing to dream.

Hello Network! Turns out, the gala was quite the success... hope you all grabbed the adverts about the cupcake place I got the cupcakes from. Miss Audrey is rather brilliant. Didn't have any of the cupcakes myself, was too busy showing things around, but they sure looked brilliant!

Anyway, right, so no more new galas to report. I do have a new job, it's working at Stanford as a professor of History, brilliant stuff really. I was going to try for a professor of Physics, but they already had that fulfilled.

That all being said, BRILLIANT TO MEET YOU ALL at the gala. And those of you who didn't come, still brilliant to meet you whenever I do!

Now... does anyone know how to sew? I'm not quite sure I've managed it correctly.

I'm starting classes at UoC: Irvine, this fall, and have lived around here most of my life. I just wanted to pop on, say hello, and see what sorts are hanging about on here.

So. My case-worker/therapist/whatever the fuck they call themselves said I should join this place for the transition or some shit like that. Apparently this is supposed to help? Hell if I know. Like you people are going to help me 'adjust to my new home'. You don't know me, I don't know you.

I have just invented a whole new flavor; well, not so much invented as stumbled upon, but really what are inventions if not happy accidents? It's a wonderful thing though, tastes amazing, a bit refreshing and a bit odd really. Still, fantastic!

There's still so much for us to learn and see in the universe! Why can't we put aside petty differences, work together and marvel at the wondrousness of our planet, our sun, our universe?

So... It's been a long time coming that I tell the world this. It's hard to accept it to start, even harder to ask others to accept it. A few of you know me personally and already know, a few of you I might have met and spoken to at one point. But I guess it's time for me to do this.

I am a female to male trans* man. I've been in transition for about a 13 months. That surgery I had? It was to remove my chest. I am on hormones and just trying to pass as well as I can. I know some of you might get uncomfortable, and I kind of expect that. But to those that accept me for this, and still choose to use the correct pronouns and name... Then thank you. So very much.

It makes my life easier and makes things calm. Hell, not like I'm telling anyone my legal name anyway.

So, I started a new job last week. And it's great and all, this isn't really about the job anyway.

But I wear suits. And, you know, I have a few different ones, so I don't look like a slob all the time. And today when I got home I realized that I was wearing a suit and tie identical to the ones I died in my dreams? And, you know, subsequently was wearing when I woke up again in my dreams.

My real suit is less blood stained though.

Thank God.

Anyway. Does this happen to people a lot? Like, subconsciously you just put these outfits together without even realizing it?

I guess since the excitement of Mother's Day is over now, I can make my formal introductory post to this network. This is so much better than Facebook. I hate all those stupid game invites.

I don't think I'm going to be getting back to sleep after a dream like that. I've never had one quite so...disturbing before.

Getting shot sucks. At least it wont take long to heal. Stupid teenaged reflexes. Who robs restaurants anyway, anymore? Don't robbers have more style? Or is there no pride at all? Meh.

Being shot in this life really trumps the memory of being shot in a dream. In a bad way.

Also, hospital food and television programming sucks. I think they want to encourage people to get better by sheer will alone, just to get away from it.

Watching Abigail prepare for her first year at university, I can't help but reflect on my own experiences.

I graduated pre-med in France, but it was my graduate studies I remember most fondly. I was nineteen, and was traveling to America for the first time in order to pursue a medical degree at Johns Hopkins. I remember being like a duck in a pond; calm on the surface but paddling furiously under the water.

I see so much of myself in my daughter. She's very mature for her age, but I can tell she's nervous about going off next year. At least she won't be going too far, and I can keep her under my wing a bit longer.

Having a child, I've found, makes me very nostalgic for my own childhood. Has anyone else found the same?

So...it's normal to experience changes after having these weird dreams? Cause I had a dream but i didn't think much of it until I looked in the mirror. I keep biting the inside of my lip.
