So you might think that pre-production comes first, before all that actual 'filming the movie' shit, but nah. First you gotta make sure you have enough money to actually make the movie, to pay the bills, and pull your ass out of what is lovingly called 'development hell.'

Well, I'm pretty familiar with hell. And ain't no movie of mine is gonna be sitting in it.

After many, many, many, many meetings - I'm pleased to announce that my new project's been given the green light. Now comes the task of finding a location, producing the shot list, script breakdowns, yada yada...

Oh, yeah, and casting. Can't talk too much about the roles specifically in public but any actors out there? I might be able to provide more info.

Best part about everything it's that while I usually work 18 hour days to avoid the dreams, I haven't had any more of those in awhile. Maybe they've stopped, and I really fucking hope so.

I attended my mother's book club this afternoon on my way home from work, and I'm not sure I really fit in with the other members. Besides, I should probably find a book club that isn't encroaching on my mother's 'territory'... does anyone know of one that's accepting new members? Or does anyone have any recommendations?

Eliot hadn't been out here long before I got here and he started dreaming right before that. I want to know how long I have before I start to go crazy like the rest of you.

Okay, show of hands, who actually got a Unicorn Frapp over the weekend? I'm not ashamed to say that I had two during the time they were available. I know some people thought they were disgusting, but I thought they were really good. I like sour things, so I didn't mind the change to tart at the end.

You know... I always thought the Avengers and the X-Men would eventually come to blows about something, but I honestly expected that Stark would be leading when we did, not Rogers.

Utopia was never meant to see that kind of battle, not really. It was a home, a safe haven, just for us. And yet a bunch of non-mutants come barging in to do what they think is right.

For once, I kind of agree with Cyclops on his stance. It's been a while since I could say that.

It is the first time I've woken up energised from a dream battle and not exhausted.

These dreams really feel sometimes like they are almost normal, and then they turn around and that changes in an instant.

How is it Easter Sunday? I started working on a project Thursday night, and the next thing I know it's Sunday.

I need to get out to the beach. The weather's getting nicer and it's calling to me. I've spent far too much time indoors and behind a desk. Catch some rays, up my vitamin D level, all that. It's got to be good for your health, right?

How many of you are getting out there?

I might have invited trouble into my life my mentioning in a conversation with my admirer where I work when I'm not dancing. He showed up at Alice's Tea Cup today, bought a cup of chai and a blueberry muffin. He said hi, but not much more. Ate his muffin, drank his chai, read for a matter of minutes, and then he was gone. Normally this would seem like nothing to me, but I think he's trying to become part of my life. It's either sweet or creepy, I haven't decided. If it steps up a notch it'll definitely be creepy. At least he tipped generously.

It's my birthday, and no I'm not telling you how old I am.

My Dad's as much of a dick in my Dreams as he is in this life. Ugh. I'm so stereotypical with my Daddy Issues. Drives me nuts.

And the cold's still lingering. I need more soup. Doc gave me an inhaler to try and help me breathe and not cough. It's not really helping. But it looks cool.

Someone needs to tell me to stop watching Forensic Files; especially since I'm home alone. Considering I have dreams about basically having a crazy stalker, I shouldn't be watching something like this. I just make myself paranoid, but there's something slightly fascinating about it. Why do I do this to myself?

I dreamt again. It works! My device works! Eph and I took it out into the field. We turned it on in the middle of a crowd of Strigoi and they just stood there, stunned. Eph held his silver blade up to one's cheek and it just stood there while the silver burned its skin. We disposed of them quickly and easily and headed to Setrakian's to tell him about it. The rest of the gang was a little skeptical, wondering if it'd work on the Master, but I don't doubt it will. We're going to stun him and put his sadistic, world-crushing ass in a box where he can't hurt anyone. Taking care of the rest will be child's play.

I swear these dreams get crazier and crazier by the minute.... Now my dream dads house is over run by snakes and when i tried to escape Im face to face with a panther and an orangutan!

Just my damn luck - I seem to have fallen victim to these dreams everyone on here talks about. Either that or my subconscious is even more twisted than I ever thought. Apparently 13 year old me had a childhood bully, which isn’t all that shocking really. But here’s the surprise - magical abilities? Which I used to kill the bully. That’s always nice. I need a drink. Hopefully more than one. Anyone want to join me?

I can't believe he's so different this ti I know there is a term used for a person who really just wants to have sex with a person and will say things like "you don't love me anymore" if you don't want to have sex for whatever reason a person may have, though I can't remember what it is. However, does this term also cover if this same person disappears and lets you be blamed for killing them and running away when they see you about to be hanged for supposedly killing them?

I've had it. I'm done. I'm never sleeping again.

Someone 'pranked' me today by pulling off my scarf and then making it worse by making snarky comments about my scar, implying I cut myself for attention. I recognized him; he's my my psych class. He should know that's not funny. I should have said something like I'd kick his ass if his head wasn't in the way. But I didn't. I just took my scarf back and ran away. At least I can do that here. I don't know if my dream self will ever get away from the staring and the questions. There's a reporter than even comes into the hospital. Dream me might let her write a book, she thinks the book will help people understand her point of view. At least that's what dream me wanted when I was having newer dreams. They've been repeating lately, of the day I got that scar. Maybe that's why the 'prank' bothered me so much.

I want this day to be over already but I sure as hell don't want to go to sleep.

Okay fucking seriously, just because it's April Fool's doesn't mean I can get punked in both my dreams and real life. That's definitely cheating. There needs to be a takesy backsie on one of these. Or both. I'd like both to go away.

Uh...what the actual fuck? I apparently chose the Dark Fae??? And as if that wasn't enough, the sperm donor that calls himself my father sent me and Lara a wedding gift out of the blue. I'd rather shove it up his ass.

I hate to bother those on this network for something that may seem trivial, but eventually I will run out of sick leave. And there is also that I dislike being away from my work laboratory when there is, well, plenty of work to actually be done.

But I have something of a problem. Magic is one specialization I am not well-versed in, but if there is a way to, say, hide appearances in the event that one has experienced a rather jarring 'dream bleedover'? I would be most appreciative of the help. And would find a way to provide compensation, of course.

At least being home has allowed me to read in excess. The world's largest dinosaur footprint was only recently just discovered in Australia! That is exciting, isn't it?

I called my mum this morning to wish her a Happy Mother's Day, luckily thanks to my baby brother she got the flowers and chocolates I arranged to be delivered and she seemed happy to know that I'd be skyping her this afternoon.

I know it isn't Mother's Day in the US yet but on behalf of all the British people here I'd like to wish all Mum's a lovely day x

I can't wait to take Liv to Australia. I can't remember the last time I travelled for something other than work. Then again, I can't really complain about all the travelling I had to do for work, given that my work generally involved a whole lot of partying. It's too bad that I probably won't be travelling for work again.

So, what's there to see in Australia? Other than all the deadly animals.

Don't bother with your names, I don't want to get attached if you're just going to end up boring me somehow but I suppose I should give you mine. I'm Eliot, event planner extraordinaire, it's not bragging. It's a fact and on the business cards my former boss gave me when I moved out here.

So dinner with my parents never stops amusing me. Dad asked me for help setting the table, and as he was handing me the silverware he says “Don’t forget the forks sweetie.” and hands me a handful of “forks”. And then it took him a minute to realize why I was laughing so hard looking down at my hand. Every last one of them was a spoon. Guess mom rearranged the silverware drawer again and he didn’t notice. I know I shouldn’t laugh at him it’s just always funny to see how much neither of us really pay attention to things because of how used we get to the established routine. Daddy’s the same way. Guess Mom had a type after all.

I thought taking Lily to New York over her school break would help with my wanderlust. Instead, I've woken up every morning with the itch to do something different. It's a feeling that I've had off and on for most of my life; the last time that happened I applied for the job that ultimately moved us across the country to California. When I was 18 I went out and got a tattoo, when I was 22 I hopped a red-eye to Bali with my boyfriend at the time and did nothing but sit on a beach and drink, among other adult activities.

Becoming a grown-up, or maybe just a parent, means that I can't just throw some stuff into a suitcase and jet off, but that feeling is still there. It's not dissatisfaction, it's not unhappiness, it's just -- a craving, I guess. To experience something new, to do something different. I just don't know what that difference is yet.

I love Funkos. They're so cute. I want to take a customizable Funko Pop doll, get some polymer clay and paint, and just totally make it look exactly like me. I want a little me sitting on my desk with those big black eyes staring straight ahead.

I sound like an egotist, but honestly I just think it'd look so cute. Little blonde hacker Funko.

When it rains it pours, I guess. Another Dream. This one was out of order. Does that happen to people often? I've been Dreaming about being in LA, and in last night's Dream I finally went to LA. Took Lucky with me. Clint, have you Dreamed about that yet? "You're not my girlfriend, you can't take my dog"?

I was out with my nephew and happened across a Girl Scout selling cookies at a table she'd set up in the park. She was with her dad, so I struck up a conversation. Turns out Girl Scouts have been selling cookies for 100 years. This is their centennial anniversary.

I bet they didn't have Tagalongs back then.

Thanks to discount candy day, my stash is replenished and skillfully hidden from certain thieving sisters who shall remain unnamed.

I also had another dream and I have to admit, I was kind of a little asshole in them. I made fun of a kid who ate glue and he ended up turning into a glue monster. He started wrecking the joint and it wasn't until I apologized for being a bully that he stopped. Then my sister got ice breath, a power that us other two didn't queue a lot of bitterness and jealousy because that's how it goes in the world of five year old superheroes.

Okay, so I know there’s a market for crossover genre books, but shouldn’t there be some sort of logic to it? Or at least a limit? I just finished a book that was a crossover between disaster/ghost/government conspiracy/alternate universe. And it literally felt like the author couldn’t decide what they wanted to write, and couldn’t be bothered to make it actually connect. I should have listened to my first instinct and just stopped reading and returned it to the library. I’m so glad that I didn’t buy it.

The powers that be saw fit to make me snooze right through Valentine's Day. I'm told the hospital is keeping me tonight for observation and then I'll probably be discharged in the morning if nothing funny happens. Too bad. I was looking forward to some quality jello salad.

The mountains were nice, and I got a call telling me they needed me to work on a TV show out of country for a few weeks. So I'm off, not that many would notice, but I'll have my phone with me and my laptop. It'll be a nice change of pace, I think.

If I never see another Valentine or glitter ever again, it will be too soon. Despite the cleaning I did before I left yesterday and the janitorial staff cleaning - there is still glitter from the children’s Valentine party all over my classroom. The kids had fun though and that’s the important thing right?

So... My Valentine's Day was going amazing... Spent the morning with the bestie doing a girls brunch. Than that afternoon I treated myself to spa and ice cream. And where did my night end? In the freaking hospital, because some asshole was robbing a jewelry store and stupid me forgetting I don't have my abilities anymore, tried to stop him....

Happy freaking Valentine's day to me....

My kid presented me with flowers for Valentine's Day, which is cute if you overlook the fact she pulled them out of the neighbors yard. But it's the thought that counts. At least the families on both sides of us like Lily, though I am going to make her apologize for taking something without asking. But once she's done that, I think I'll celebrate with my favorite girl with some pizza and a movie.

I think I'm coming down with something or just losing it in general. I've forgotten about two meetings today and when I tried to drink my morning coffee it tasted awful but my assistant says it tastes fine to her. Maybe I just need a break.

I just found out that Pizza Hut has a heart shaped pizza! I guess I know what I'm having for dinner on Tuesday. Since I'm single, I can't think of a better way to spend Valentine's Day

As the saying goes, the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry. It's certainly applicable for me today since I arranged for a babysitter, carefully planned a day out, and then woke up at 5 a.m. miserably sick. So rather than enacting all my plans, today has been about lying in bed and binge-watching The Crown on Netflix.

And I still had to pay the babysitter, who, to my great surprise, has a 24-hour cancellation policy.

You know what sucks... Waking up black and blue because the cruises from your dreams decide to bleed through, all thanks to Castle. Fyi Frank, your guy needs a new hobby lol. But least I had a power charger with me so once I took it, I was able to punch him through a glass display window with one hit... In front of my dream friends though...

Next thing I know, I wake up in my room at my dream dads house.

These dreams are going to cause me to drink....

Business ventures can be such fun. And the eyebrows that certain ventures raise are all the more enjoyable.

I must say, I never expected to own a burlesque club, but I really can't say it doesn't suit me terribly well. Victrola is currently under new ownership, but that is the current extent of the changes. Employees are welcome to discuss anything that's on their mind but February will be a month of no change while all the appropriate paperwork is dealt with.

At least running this club will most likely be less stressful than trying to manage the Cabal, egos, egos everywhere. I forgot how delicate Von Doom could be.

It looks like thanks to this new set of dreams, I will have a new dance for the Court of Miracles, now involving a sword. I have to say I am looking forward to seeing how it will be received.
