So, Google, Wikipedia and Wookiepedia are kinda a rabbit hole of information with Star Wars. There's SO MUCH.

I don't even...I'm just trying to understand it all, even after we marathoned those movies a while back. Which, by the way, was INSANE. I can live without a blaring opening fanfare for a little.

But. It seems Stormtroopers are some sort of...cool thing? They're everywhere. There are actual legions.

And apparently, they dance.

Why is Halloween so popular here, anyway? It's always puzzled me and I've been living in the states for years.

On a scale from 1-10, how lame is it to dress up as yourself for Halloween? Because I look pretty damn cool, and it's the best fitting costume I've ever had.

Though, Finn, I might need to borrow my jacket back.

So...Labor Day weekend Star Wars marathon is a go. We're starting with our movie first, this 'Force Awakens', then going chronological I guess? Thank goodness they're numbered.

Time to learn some dream history.

I HAVE AN ACTION FIGURE!!!!

I can't say enough how happy I am to have a job. I know it's been like two months since I landed it, but still, I keep waking up every day nearly pinching myself. Just when I thought I'd have to sleep on my Bro's couch, I got saved in the nick of time.

Now I can not only pay my bills, but probably in a short amount of time afford a better place. And pay for my friends' dinners when we're out because I can ;)

In my opinion, there are few things more beautiful than seeing stars being born. This is a lovely photograph of it, though nothing beats seeing it with your own two eyes. I think I need to take a trip to see this.

Has anyone ever... known something was coming, but when you finally dream it you can't..

I don't even have a word for it. I woke up crying, and like there was a rift in my heart I didn't know I had and it just got filled.

Apparently I'm not too bad at wielding a lightsaber.

This place always so welcoming? Few shades stranger than what I remember it being like. Sure ain't Cozumel at least. Could've gotten shot out down there, but not by blasters.

Name's Han Solo. Trust me, you haven't heard of me, but you will. Looking for some new business opportunities around here. Ain't interested in this dream talk, but I am game for talking shop if you've got something good for the semi-new guy. I'm all eyes and ears!

Okay, at this point, I just need to ask here, since nothing's turning up out there.

I need a job. Badly. Or I'm gonna be outta a apartment and become another homeless vet. So anyone need a former special forces Navy Seal with crazy high marksmanship skills, leadership qualities, and a charming smile?

Okay I dunno about the last one, but the first two skill sets are for real.

Seeing as I have my X-Wing and all, I guess it's only fitting that my flight suit was waiting for me when I got home from work today. I gotta say, orange is totally my color. No big deal, but I look great.

I officially hate the desert.

I can't believe I told Han Solo that I was a "big deal" in the Resistance.

Guy totally called my bluff.

Now all he calls me is "Big Deal". If I could smack dream me upside the head, I would right now.

Dream me was so in denial that she could barely accept the truth even when it was given to her on a silver platter. I woke up feeling....cold.

I'm not particularly thrilled with where Master Yoda suggested we go next, either. We do need to stop those Inquisitors.

But it was...nice to see him, even if not physically. And to know at least someone survived.

Got some new dreams, oh yeah!

FINALLY get to meet Rey and BB-8. That escape in the freighter was EPIC. Rey you were not kidding how amazing that was!

Learned Han Solo's a badass. Except for the smuggling of Rathtars part - that's just straight up crazy. Those things nearly ate me!

Also, Solo is a terrible smuggler. He tried conning like two or three groups of people at once! We're lucky we made it out of there in one piece between them and the Rathtars!

Lastly, wookies make terrible patients. Never trying to patch one up again. Thought I was gonna lose an arm.

Here's to hoping I hurry up and dream some more.

So I'm sleeping, dreaming away of kicking some First Order ass and reuiniting with my best buddies. When I get woken up by this beeping. At first I thought it was my alarm clock, like I was stupid and didn't turn if off. But it wasn't my alarm.

It's nice to know that I haven't been dropped from my classes this quarter as I've missed the first ones thanks to the reasoning being related to the subject matter. Though as a word of advice? Randomly sitting next to someone and taking pictures with them without saying anything or petting someone's hair to try and say it's smooth? Really not okay, regardless of which country you're in.

So tomorrow is April first. I wonder how many people are going to get Rick Rolled.

It's an Easter miracle. Dream Poe has risen from the possible depths of death! Actually he was just knocked out and concussed, but the important thing is, I love to dream another day. Take that, First Order.

Has anyone ever gotten something that doesn't..really belong to them? From the dreams, I mean. And I suppose it belongs to me now but it wasn't mine originally. If that makes any sense.

REY! POE!

I'M SO NOT A BAD GUY IN THE DREAMS!

I dreamt of the attack on the village in Jakku, but I didn't fire on any of the villagers. I just couldn't. It was like the mining thing all over again, just gunning down innocents in the name of the First Order. I think I was hoping Phasma didn't notice again but when we got back, she asked me to turn in my weapon and ordered me to reconditioning. She knows.

I lost Slip though. He got killed in all the chaos. Poe...I think you shot him. :( I got to him just as he died. When I got back to base, I noticed he left a bloody hand print on my helmet; I was totally freaked out. But GUYS! I totally BAILED ON THE FIRST ORDER! I busted out Poe and we stole a TIE FIGHTER!!! (just like you said, Rey) It was so badass! This all makes more sense now!

My dreams have taken a weird turn.

It's really weird dreaming about stuff then having it happen pretty much right after. I feel like I should apologize on behalf of myself and my friends cause what's happening right now is from our dreams. Hopefully no one has gotten hurt from any of this. Especially with the mutts yesterday. Annie and I ended up killing two at my place so now I need to replace one of my kitchen windows. Of course that's small in comparison to what could have happened.

I've been on the edge of my seat ever since the mutts, waiting for the sound of canons. This whole thing needs to stop now.

Things I've learned from my new dreams:

*Captain Phasma's a scary bitch. Literally. Do. Not. Screw with her. Also, her armor is badass.

*My men are some of the best (except for Slip), but apparently I'M top of the class. I got praised by Phasma herself at the review of a multi unit combat sim - and it was in front of hundreds of Stormtroopers.

* Star Destroyers are crazy huge.

* Standing guard at a mining colony sucks.

* I'm apparently conflicted as a Stormtrooper. I keep looking out for Slip because he keeps messing up and falls behind. Phasma says I'm not supposed to go back for a fallen comrade. Ever. First Order above everything else. That doesn't sit well with me. Even worse, at the mining colony she ordered us to straight up murder the crew that were striking - I didn't fire my weapon. I hesitated but my men killed them all. I'm hoping Phasma didn't notice I didn't discharge my weapon.

Ugh. It's been three days and I still feel like I've been hit by a freight train. These dreams, man. They really get at you.

So, this weird crap happen all the time in the OC? Cuz I've only been here a month and it seems some people on here are acting like blood rain and tidal waves that fake out before they hit land is a normal thing.

Also, what's up with the giant metal thing on Seal Beach? I got called in to report for duty as soon as all this stuff started happening, and my command all but freaked out when there were reports of possible weapons being inside that thing.

I'd forgotten how much I detest moving. While the prospect of a new place to live is quite nice, it's such a hassle. One never realizes how many things they've accumulated until it all needs to be boxed up. And inevitably I know myself well enough to know that most if these boxes win't be unpacked until several months from now.

It would appear that I was quite the problem child in these dreams. It's both rather amusing, as well as unsurprising.

I dunno what's up with all these posts about dreams, but I guess it's safe to post about mine? I mean, it's probably cuz I fell asleep watching an old scifi movie but...I had a dream I was some sort of futuristic soldier called a Stormtrooper. White armor with black bodysuits, laser rifles, and we all look the same with our armor on. Only the visor info in my helmet can tell people apart. Oh and we train in simulators that use full on holograms. Environments, explosions, enemies, even the air support sounds and seems real.

I think I need to lay off the Yuengling for a little.

So Google made a weird turn. Meant to search for jobs in the area and somehow this came up. Poked around a bit, seems this is some sort of local community blog thing? That’s cool.
