Listen, I haven't seen Gremlins since I was a kid. I DO NOT REMEMBER A DAMN THING ABOUT THESE BASTARDS.

Some of them got into my greenhouse, which is not cool. Why is my greenhouse always the causality in these things? One of 'em hit the manual switch for the watering system and suddenly they all friggin' multiplied! We managed to lock them in but that door's not gonna hold for long.

Anyone who wants a Christmas Card from Baxter Bakery, come on down! I had them printed, and they look amazing! Cards for everyone! They've got pictures of our exclusive, traditional, sparkling latte with an assortment of Christmas Cookies on them! (Because I personally celebrate Christmas, I decorated the cards this way. But all holidays are welcome at Baxter Bakery!)

I also have cookies shaped like snowflakes, dreidels, menoras, candy canes, candles, bells, presents, kinaras, and all sorts of other winter shapes! Cookies are only $1! Perfect when paired with a silky, hot, soy latte, or a sparkling hot chocolate!

I think it might even work. At least the exploded pillow on my couch suggests it would work if its user knew what he was doing.

Well I once again have a reason to drag my old warm jumpers out of the attic. You can always rely on the OC to give us the wintery feeling though this year it's earlier I'm sure.

I had fun making pies! We'll have these and many more at Baxter Bakery just in time for Thanksgiving dinner! If you didn't get your pre-order in, that is mostly fine. We'll have plenty extra around for the holiday. Just come on by, the Bakery will be open until 1pm. Get your Sparkling Lattes and your Thankgiving Goodies! Pies, cookies and cakes will be on sale!

I'm slightly disappointed to see that people are suggesting Baxter's Bakery as the place to go get pie around here. No offense to Audrey (she does make some delicious food), but I want to make sure my name at least gets a mention (Thanks, Regina).

I haven't had any Dreams in ages but I just had one. And it's the weirdest thing... repeat of one of my Dreams from my days at school. At Magical School. It was fun for a while... and when I woke up I decided to try out some spells with my wand. Because... why not? I practically forgot I had the thing. Turns out I'm pretty good at this Magic stuff. Who'd-a-thunk?

Life changing decisions happening here. Okay not really, but I did officially change my major and decided to take up cheer again.

This is going to be a good year. I can feel it.

So more dreams filling in the gaps about our trip to Knowhere. Please tell me we get off the damn rock/skull thing soon. The whole lack of sunlight/mining town thing is getting old.

Did learn two things though:

1) Don't let Rocket get drunk. That non-Raccoon might be able to pack it away, but once he gets plastered, he will kill you with the gun that's bigger than himself just for calling him a rodent or a raccoon.

2) Seems dream me has zero problems with agreeing to sell his corpse ahead of time so the Collector can add it to his collection once dream me kicks the bucket.

Rocket's snarky line about it did make me laugh when I woke up though.

While of course I would prefer to compete on something more prestigious such as Masterchef, watching Food Network with my partner makes me think I would do very well on Cutthroat Kitchen.

Oh my gosh, this gave me such a giggle! I know it's not really from Joey Fatone, but it's funny either way.

Has anyone successfully been able to keep the dreams separate from their real life?

I thought I could, but thanks to the dreams writing no longer feels... right. Looks like I am taking a break for the time being.

Jet lag is absolute rubbish, I've been wide awake since 4am staring at the bloody clock.

However, I'm rather pleased to be back somewhere, where summer means there's some actual sun.

Password resets seem to be the name of the game today.

Honestly, how hard is it to remember a password you use everyday? I know we've just had a weekend but still.

Today was completely crazy. And I can't remember ever feeling this overwhelmed with any feeling in my life.

Our baby was born. On Sharon's behalf, I want to say that we're beyond happy to finally meet our little girl. Viviana Margaret Carter - du Vallon. She was born at 6:22pm, and she's 19.2 inches and 6.8 pounds, and she's perfect.

I've never felt so in love in my life.

And Sharon's doing well. And thank you to everyone that was there through it all. I'm so glad to know she's already so loved by everyone.

As thankful as I am for the owner of Baxter's Bakery for letting us hunker down there last week, I'm happy to be home again. Already I've slept for like two days straight.

I've been dreaming and I don't care for them very much. At least one things clear: I'm a marine (I think) in that life too. Hopefully a better one.

I don't get to watch a lot of television, but I Tivo'd (Is that still something people do? DVR? Whatever) an amazing Food Network Competition Show and had a grand time watching it today, while the skies got all yucky and whatnot. Spent most of the day hiding inside from the weather.

It makes me think I should try out for shows like that one. What do you think?

It seems my dreams are getting a bit more interesting. Still no magic, however my on again, off again girlfriend was being stalked by a crazy girl who is now in an insane asylum.

I also lost my job teaching at the college thanks to said girlfriend’s father.

Now that I am done celebrating America I'm off to Europe. Well technically I leave tomorrow but close enough. I've never been before, anyone have places they recommend?

Just a friendly reminder that my Food Network competition will be airing on Saturday evening. I'm not allowed to tell you who wins right now, so hopefully you all will watch it. It's going to be a lot of fun to watch it on tv and see how they edited everything. I'm just glad my family and Alyssa were able to be in the audience for it.

My dreams have finally started to move on a little bit and I can't help but be amused that my form of therapy in the dreams is working on a wedding cake. But of course I'm a little shit right now and I start picking fights with people. And whoever decided that it would be a good idea to train me in combat really needs to rethink this one. I'm a little nervous about how this will go, but surprise!

I know that, in all probability, my dreams are done now. But I can't shake the feeling like something more is going to happen.

I don't know if I've ever experienced a joy more powerful than getting a few full nights' sleep in a row. This sleep training thing is the best thing ever. Ben is a happier baby, and Merlin and I are actually getting enough shut-eye that we can function properly.

I never thought I'd be quite this level of happy at having a night of uninterrupted sleep.

But I am ridiculously happy. And grateful to Ben for not waking up and crying. Though I think Audrey still got up to check on him just in case.

I just saw the BIGGEST SPIDER EVER in my bathroom! Where's my husband?? Where's my best friend?? WHY IS NO ONE AROUND WHEN I NEED THEM??

I hope it doesn't kill me.

I'll be hanging around outside until someone gets home to save me.

Seems I had it easy at botanist school. Legit college is a pain.

I can't believe that Ben is 3.5 months old now. I'm back to work almost full time. Merlin's back to work. The world keeps on spinning. Life is reaching a new equilibrium. I think we're starting to sleep more, though it's hard to tell. I also think it's time to start sleep training the baby. He needs to get more rest than he's getting, I think. For his health and our sanity.

Sorry, I didn't mention the bakery. We won't be having our usual Thursday night performances tomorrow night. But come in, anyway, and pick up a Sparkling latte.

A neighbor just brought over a huge bag full of oranges. I guess their tree exploded--not literally, obviously, but figuratively--and they had more oranges than they knew what to do with. I thought I'd make something delicious with them, but I'm running a blank on ideas.

I could always juice them and freeze it to use later, but I'd prefer to make something fresh today. I've got the morning off, so... thoughts?

Integra left for the UK last night, to visit for her fathers birthday, and already the house feels empty without her.

It seems I have lost my ability to be alone for long. Not that in this case it is a bad thing. I'm sure she'll take comfort in knowing I miss her.

Okay, so basically there's a drive-through convenience store in San Diego that I need to hit up, just for the experience. Who wants a road trip?

Like literally drive-through. You pull up and can order beer, milk, ice cream, maybe some condoms? I can't decide if that's ingenious or really the epitome of good old-fashioned American laziness.

Don't get any ideas about gas station burritos, Lina.

Today was so long I almost fell asleep in the shower after my shift. People need to stop calling in sick.

I fell asleep in the shower today.

I'm going back to work tomorrow! Hip hip hooray! Well, I'm bringing Ben with me, and we'll see how long I can actually work... but I've talked to Izzy about doing some of the work from home now. Ordering, staffing, that sort of thing. I can take those loads off of her plate so she can focus on customer service and training. I love having someone that I trust so completely as my second in command! (Or first in command while I'm gone!)

She's the Riker to my Picard.

I'm so looking forward to getting back to work! If anyone wants to come and see me, I'll be at Baxter from seven until noon. Longer, if we're not too worn out by then!

So, it may be just me, but these cookies I made are absolutely delicious. I should bring the recipe in to sell them at the bakery. Oatmeal and chocolate chip. They've got some other amazing things in them, too, like brewer's yeast and raw sugar. Great for lactation. Probably shouldn't use that as a selling point.

The first time I could actually have a date for Valentines Day and we're both working. So early celebration it is.

Next week I start back at work full time and I have to say I already know it's going to be strange not seeing Aud and the baby. But I've been lucky to have this much time off.

Not exactly a midnight feeding when it's 10:30. But close enough. What I wouldn't give for six hours uninterrupted sleep! I'm sure I'll get back to sleeping the night through. When he's eighteen.

I miss my bakery. :(

SOMEONE BROKE INTO MY HOUSE AND STOLE MY PLANTS!

And my T.V. and X-BOX One. And broke a whole mess of stuff just for kicks.

BUT MY CANNABIS PLANTS. I've got people's orders depending on them, and now I have almost nothing!

They couldn't drag 'em all out of the greenroom so they broke and hacked some off.


And of course I can't even call the cops for this.

The Bakery was broken into last night and as such is a bit of a mess today. Nobody was hurt thankfully but they weren't exactly careful when looking for things to steal.

Please note we will be closed for at least twenty four hours while things are fixed and tidied.

We have contractors working on it and hopefully they won't take too long to put everything right - I'm planning on using my charm to get them to work hard for us!

While things are being fixed you obviously don't need to come in to work but will be paid as usual. I'll message those working over the weekend when we know about the re-opening details.

Today was my first day back to work. Part-time for the moment, but still a big deal. Maternity leave was quite nice and I loved spending so much time with the twins, but I was beginning to become restless. Of course I feel terrible leaving my babies to go to work, but I know they are in good hands while I'm at work. At least the holidays are over for now so there's a lot less stress.

Oh, and my husband sent me the most lovely flowers as a surprise and that certainly brightened up my day!
