Are the cookies really shaped like rulers and blackboards and stuff, Audrey, because that picture is kind of making me hungry.

Yes, they are! Aren't they lovely? I've got some master icers hiding in my bakery.

You do! I tried to put icing on cookies once. It did not work out so well.

That's okay! Even poorly decorated cookies are delicious. ;)

Yeah, I might not be a great baker either. Heh.

Thank god for you, Audrey! I couldn't get my coffee fix in the morning without you.

That's what I like to hear! :) And that you come in for breakfast, too, not just for coffee!

We want to make sure everyone's eating properly. It's the most important meal of the day, you know.

Of course I do. One cannot survive on sparkling lattes alone.

I'm just glad they're not pumpkins.

It's not even September and everything is whipping into pumpkin frenzy. Also, Halloween candy is already for sale???

I'll definitely be doing pumpkins... but in October. Where pumpkins belong.

The best day to buy Halloween candy is November first.

That's totally fine. Pumpkins in October are great. Hell, pumpkins in November are great.

Just not August.

Any day after a holiday is the best time for candy. The day after Easter is almost sacred.

I'll likely have some pumpkin bleedover in November, too. Along with the maple leaves and turkeys.

Day after Valentine's, too.

That's acceptable. The whole pumpkin pie thing. October through December, pumpkins.

Oooh, yeah. All those heart shaped chocolates.

It's when they're in season.

All our pumpkin pastries will have actual pumpkin in them, too.
