I was putting the finishing touches to my quarters on board my starship when I discovered a holo behind the bed.

I unexpectedly had an emotion.

I dreamed I saved a little droid from another scavenger. He was really cute and I tried to maintain a serious face but he just rolled his head at me and beeped and my heart melted.

This morning I couldn't find my keys. I looked absolutely everywhere I thought I might have left them, even checked the door in case my dumbass left them in the lock. I had to drop Armin off at school before getting to my internship, so ten minutes after we usually would have left, we finally decided that I was driving his car today. Otherwise there was absolutely no way that we could have made it, and we just figured we'd look for the keys tonight when we got home from work.

We tore the apartment up looking for them and still couldn't find them. I remembered we went grocery shopping yesterday and wondered if maybe I accidently threw them away when I went to take out the stuff we cleaned out of the fridge. Since we couldn't find them anywhere else, I ...went dumpster diving. Hoping that we didn't have a pickup today.

No, I didn't find them out in the dumpster. While I was out there, my fiance remembered we hadn't checked the laundry yet. And somehow they were buried at the very bottom of our hamper. Now, there are six culprits that could have put them there, but the bunnies and the pug can't reach where I usually put my keys.

Which leaves Pan as the reason I don't think I will ever get the smell of old takeout out of my shoes.

I never thought I would say too much homework, but alas, the time has come. And I'm only a freshman. I wonder what will happen in the coming years, but I imagine I'm going to adapt fairly well to it. I have so far, right? I have to remember to stay focused. I have a journal for all of my rambling thoughts when I can't seem to focus properly; usually a good thing, right?

Sometimes, when I have a nightmare, I don't know if it's a Dream dream, or a regular dream and regular nightmare.

I just can't tell the difference any more.

I do so love being a punching bag for people's racism. I was told to take my germs and go back to China while I was completely minding my own business and not showing any signs of being sick. I'm not sick. To my knowledge, I've never even been to China. But sure, accuse me of spreading the coronavirus just because I'm Asian. Racist asshole just needed to make himself feel better by putting me down. I hate people.

I might not have gotten the internship last semester, but I've got it this time! I'm really excited, there's so much I'm going to be able to learn actually working at the newspaper than I've been learning at classes. More hands on. I'm not sure how that's going to affect my schedule yet, I'll have to wait until my first day, so I can report that back to the job that actually pays me. Still, the bakery is willing to work around whatever schedule they give me.

I like this gift a lot more than the last one from the Dreams - I woke up to my grandfather’s geography book laying on my nightstand. It was the book that kicked off the desire to see the ocean that Eren and I have in the Dreams. I’ve spent most of the day looking through it and it’s weird how similar and different all at once the geography of our world is from the world I dream about.

I don't normally do social media stuff, but for some reason I was drawn here when I happened upon the link. So what do you guys talk about? Local stuff? Random stuff? The weather? I mean, someone had to talk about last month's snow, right? Global warming is a bitch, huh?

So, got my first ever write up at work.

I don't know if all bakeries are the same, but for ours? Large orders require an ID. That way if anyone wants to change it, we can match it and make sure it's our actual customer trying to change it. Apparently there have been issues in the past. So that is just our policy. No ID, we can't change it. That is just how it is

The Karen I dealt with today didn't like that I wouldn't take her word that she was the bride and wouldn't entirely change the size, flavor, and style of a wedding cake for her without trusting she was who she said she was. She kept saying she didn't have her ID on her. It was in her other purse. She didn't drive here so she didn't need it. That I was invading her privacy and this was awful customer service.

Finally she told me to bite her ass. I informed her I didn't have my rabies shots yet and I was sure she tasted awful anyway. So she complained to the manager.

...Does a write up still count if the person giving it is trying not to crack up at the same time?

Eren and I didn't set up a Christmas tree because we're going to be at his parents house for the holidays, and it just didn't make sense to spend so much time decorating when we won't be here. And the animals will just mess with it. But when I got home from work today, there was this massive box outside of our door and when I got it inside and opened it there was a fully decorated tree inside it. That perfectly matches our t-rex Menorah, since it is decorated in dinosaurs.

I didn't make it into the internship program over the summer, so I've been working extra hard so that I can get into it next semester. Journalism is just an incredibly competitive field, so the only thing that I can do is just to keep trying harder. This is all I've wanted since ninth grade. And I'm up against so many other people that also have wanted this since whatever grade.

I've always been able to stubborn my way through whatever problems, though.

In less stressful news, I have a giant rabbit and a pug both trying to occupy the same space in my lap at the same time, and there's something very relaxing about being this loved.

With the clothes I get from my dreams, I can be a Queen every year for Halloween and this year was no exception. It was difficult to figure out which outfit I was going to wear, but eventually I figured it out and I was able to convince Roman to dress up too. By the end of the night, I didn't want to take off my crown; if only it were acceptable for me to wear it all the time here.

And for anyone who has taken the time to actually read my recent rants about my dreams, my most recent one was better. We robbed a fucking bank. Of course it didn't go as planned, but I got to plan the entire thing and tell everyone else what to do.

It's the Little Women adaption I didn't know I needed until I needed it.

Is it really quite so necessary for anyone to be bringing out the Christmas decorations yet? My senses were assaulted by the appearance of a Christmas light display in the park.

I should definitely find a job. But I'm definitely not going back into retail.

The murderous tendencies are hard enough to keep under control on a daily basis, never mind throwing in incentives to let them loose.

Yes, yes. Halloween. A week from today. There are a lot of celebrations happening at clubs all over. So instead of trying to compete, Lux will be hosting our Halloween extravaganza on Saturday the 2nd. And this way I can attend the other parties as well. Win/Win.

I don't judge by looks alone, but when you say you are 30 and 6'2, and look 40 and 5'10 - NOPE. What the hell? Must have modeled shoes or something. I dreamed I was a child. Not human, but something called an Elezen. Tall, with elegant pointed ears.

This child I was saw visions that frightened her. A woman, and of dragons. I think... this child had visions of being this woman, but none of it is clear. There was this crystal...

There’s a jigglypuff on my snorlax chair that keeps bitchslapping me everytime I try to catch it in a pokeball. Eren….I need you to come home and catch it for me. And Mopsy doesn’t like the new litter pan so she dumped it in the food. And Pan won’t let me up to go make more tea.

Plus sides to being single, I've gotten so much work done. I've completely redesigned my glider suits and hummingbirds, drew up the plans for a brand new airship design to add to the growing fleet I've been producing, and a design for a flight suit capable of leaving and re-entering atmosphere.

And that was all personal work, that doesn't even include the Stark/FI space program collab work!

I guess Mom's been deep cleaning where we keep the holiday things, because I just got a package full of some of my old Halloween costumes, minus I guess the more special ones, and the things I made in school. Which means I'm finally old enough, I guess, that their junk has become my junk. Am I supposed to hold on to this? Dispose of it to save Mom and Dad the guilt of doing it themselves? Call my sister and ask if she, also, received her own box of junk, and discuss what to do with it? Do I expect more of this in the future? No one told me about this part of adulthood. I live in an apartment, we don't have room for more of this.

After tonight's episode of his show I'm starting to think the compromise Eren and I have for him to watch his horror when we're both at home isn't working all that well anywhere. I don't know what happened, and I am pretty sure I don't want to. I know enough based on his reaction of shouting at the tv for Ryan Murphy to turn on his location because he wants to talk to him about that cliffhanger. Maybe it's time to say no horror in the living room when I'm at home....

It took me a few minutes to realize that the grumpy old man wearing a hoodie on the couch was actually our cat Pan. I've had conversations with Zelda and the bunnies over the last two days but Pan has been keeping to the second bedroom since I had the conversation with George about whether or not she likes the current hutch she and her sisters share. Which is honestly the weirdest conversation I've ever had with someone who looks like a 6 year old. (The answer is yes she likes it but it is a little cramped at times when she wants to stretch out). I think Pan has been avoiding me though.

That or making up his list of demands.

Armin and I are pretty good about sharing and rotating chores. And tonight was my turn to make dinner. Since we both had classes and work, I figured the slow cooker was probably the best idea. And I came home when I had a break between classes to get everything ready. Had just enough time to prepare all of it plus fix myself a sandwich before heading back to campus. But...

I forgot to actually plug it in.

I just got off the phone with the delivery place while my fiance's still laughing his ass off in the background.

I need recommendations for vets.

Specifically ones who are good with multiple animals at once, since three of my cats have anxiety issues relating to vet visits. The one I'm with just now just left a horrible taste in my mouth and I have a 8 month old to comfort through the experience now. I can't figure out why someone would go into the profession if they don't have the patience for skittish animals she was neglected for crying out loud.

So, animal owners, please, tell me about your vets.

Some of my other memories are becoming more clear. I'm not an alien, I'm human, and I'm pretty sure the Kree kidnapped me and brainwashed me into fighting their war.

Woke up to a box of my personal effects. Maria kept them all, even what was left of my dog tags...

I can't tell if she's my best friend or we're married, the memories are a little fuzzy on that, but it was damn nice to see her.

Only heard about Flemish giants from Eren a little while back, but they're so cool! They're rabbits the size of medium sized dogs.

If you don’t want to be asked for your ID everytime you hand your credit card to a clerk at a store maybe you shouldn’t write ‘SEE ID’ on the back in the signature portion. And if you you definitely shouldn’t scream at the clerk for daring to ask for your ID. We’re just following your written instructions and trying to make sure we’re not charging things on your card for other people. You should be pissed at all the people who didn’t ask for your ID after seeing that. Or maybe just be pissed off at yourself for causing this situation by not signing your damn card in the first place.

I have this new neighbor who moved into the condo next to mine. Older guy, probably in his 70's and I swear the man doesn't sleep. He's turned his back porch into a work space and I hear him out there at the ass-crack of down, sawing or hammering or whatever. He's still awake when I get home at like ten or eleven at night. Every single light is on in his house. Sometimes he's standing on the front steps staring at the street. Its kind of weird.

I can't believe that there is seriously a meme about everyone just up and storming Area 51. I mean, you're right, they can't stop all of us. I agree. If there is actually a big enough turn out, it would be really hard to stop us all. I mean, quite a few people are going to get killed doing that, and do you really want to be the idiot that dies for a meme?

Now if you really wanted to take that sentiment of "they can't stop all of us"... maybe turn it towards something that would actually be worth it. Maybe towards protesting the actual child concentration camps? Take that energy and put it towards something that actually fucking matters.

These dreams can seriously go fuck themselves. What the hell is the purpose of all these killings happening in threes? Animals, kids, and killings. These dreams are getting more and more intense by the minute. Right now I and my pack along with Scott are trying to figure out just what the hell is going on, and who the hell these new wolves are.

Has anyone else had a dream that felt really real? I mean, I guess we all have had those dreams where you wake up and you're not sure if the dream was real life or not, but I mean a dream that's really real?

On a related note, I'm really, really not sure if my dreams know how science works. I'm actually a little disappointed in my subconscious right now.

I am so mad right now. There's a girl back home that, on Mikasa's and mine recommendations, took over a lot of our duties at Mom's bakery when we left for college. We trained her, she always seemed like she was doing really well and customers loved her. We really thought she would help fill the gap both of us leaving at once left Mom with.

So she's going to college soon herself, and when she put her two week notice in? Her personality did a complete 180. She apparently found out that places can't fire you after you put a notice in, because it's considered retaliation. And she decided to use that to be rude to customers and employees and just sit around on the clock without doing much of anything. She even started on personal insults to one of the women that's worked with Mom for ages, and when she refused to respond to those? She pulled up facebook and started in on her children. What the fuck is wrong with her?

I know it's been years since I recommended her but... I still feel really, really guilty. Mom went ahead and stayed for the closing shift her last day to make sure she took her key from her, and she's having all the locks changed now, just to be safe. If she was like this before her last day, who knows what she's going to do after, you know?

I really fucking hate some of the adults in my Dreams. Just because they don’t understand how Eren was able to come back from the Titan, how he was eaten and then we pulled him out of a completely different Titan whole - arm and leg that he’d lost replaced, even - the military wants to execute him. And Mikasa and I along with him because we’re trying to defend him. Just as they’re about to fire, Eren transforms himself into part of a Titan and protects us inside his ribcage from the cannonballs. I hope Pan will forgive me for accidentally throwing him off the bed when I woke up at that sound.

So, I need some advice from the hivemind. My friends are now on the network and obviously that means they're going to start Dreaming. Should I warn them in advance or just wait for them to start Dreaming? I'm not sure if one is better than the other and I'm not sure if they would believe me if I try to tell them what we Dream about.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do customer service workers a favor - never start a sentence with “I don’t want to get anyone in trouble, but..” when you’re asking to speak to a manager. We know by the way you’re phrasing it you want to get someone in trouble. Just be honest about it. You aren’t sparing our feelings. If anything you’re giving us more anxiety. Just ask to speak to the manager.

Okay, I come to everyone with yet another new science fact for the day that's actually pretty cool in more than one way. A new species of dinosaur has been discovered in an opal mine Australia. The bones were discovered about thirty years ago in an opal mine, but weren't able to be scientifically studied until the past couple years.

Now, the fascinating thing here is that not only did they find remains of a single dinosaurs from a previously unknown species, but they found an entire herd consisting of multiple species of dinosaurs! Finding dinosaur fossils in this number is almost unheard of. Also because the fossils were found in an opal mine, some of them have become opalized, and the skeleton that they've been able to piece together for the new species of dinosaur is the most complete opalized dinosaur skeleton in the world. I really want to see this skeleton because I'm certain it's beyond beautiful to see in person. Also, new dinosaur!

And for those curious, the new dinosaur was an herbivore.

I know this is like the millionth post I've made regarding dinosaurs, but I'm not going to apologize for being a huge dinosaur geek. I loved them when I was a kid, and the books, and later movies, of Jurassic Park are what inspired me to go into the sciences in the first place.

I Dreamt about that Titan again last night - the one that was fighting the others - only this time my Dreamself figured out a way we could use his aberration to our advantage. Everybody was blocked in at HQ so Conny, Mikasa and I lured the strange Titan there, and he started kicking the ass of the Titans that were attacking it while we went inside and assessed the situation there as best we could. I didn’t see him go down but he was only instead of disappearing the way they always do it kind of...crumpled I guess? And as it did, I saw Eren there in it’s neck. Just kind of unconscious, like he’d worked himself to exhaustion somehow. We got him out of there and he’s...whole. The arm he lost grew back. I don’t know what’s going on there, none of it makes sense but...he’s back in my Dreams. And he’s here with me. So that’s good right? Even if I don’t understand how?

I guess we're going to have to get a bigger hutch sooner than we had planned on. And from now on, if the pet supply store is having an adoption fair, I'm going for whatever we need, or at least not sending Armin on his own. Not that I can really blame him, they do have the saddest looking eyes. But ...still.

So when I mentioned to Granddad that Eren and I were getting to replace one of our living room chairs I wasn't trying to get him to buy us one, although it was a really nice surprise to come home to a new chair today after work. And I really can't be at all mad at Granddad picking it out without discussing it with us when what he picked is this. Pan, Flopsy and I spent our time cuddling on it while Eren made dinner.

It's moving day, bitches!

Since I haven't heard of any weird Orange County fuckery happening today... I'm going to guess the reason I came home from work to the entire apartment complex's mailboxes on the ground and the wood all broken has absolutely nothing to do with the weather and absolutely everything to do with them being original to the buildings?
