It's rather fascinating how the Sith Empire functions. Or rather, does not. The rank and file serve in constant fear of some idiotic order from their so-called superior and there is constant backstabbing and mistreatment. I've made incredible inroads simply by not murdering people when they make a mistake as my peers are wont to do.
It's much more effective to sway them to my side with mercy, to treat them as they ought to be treated. It is the right thing to do, but in the context of the Empire I suppose it is also a matter of my own survival. One must build a power base if they've any hope to survive, let alone thrive.
My dream self has come to the simple conclusion that if the Empire is to survive as well, there must be drastic change. The Republic is at our throats, and we are always watching our backs.
To this end, I have befriended an agent of Imperial Intelligence. A rather attractive Chiss woman, which is a nice bonus.
Entertainingly, I now have my own cult on Nar Shadda, left in the hands of two people I spared to gain their loyalty after I retrieved an artifact there.
There was one other thing of interest on that Hutt-infested planet. What was called an 'infinite' engine. This device could manipulate energy and matter, and create almost anything that was desired. Food. Water. Weapons.
