Network

While I've been on this Network for a while, I suppose I've neglected to actually introduce myself. Hello, my name is Lie Ren, and I have been studying at the University of California, Irvine.

I've also been dreaming like so many people on this Network seem to. In my most recent dreams, our classes have begun. I have to say, the professors at Beacon are certainly... interesting. And there sure seems to be a lot of tension in Team RWBY. I hope they can work it out.

If anyone is technologically inclined (ie. good with programming, hacking, and the like) please message me. I have a side project, and I need a think tank.

Last night I had a Deam within a Dream, more drama than I care to admit, and woke up thinking about my Ex. Not entirely pleasant. I wish there was a way to brush all these thoughts from my head--like brushing plaque off teeth. But so far I haven't heard of anything that does that. Unless there's something I don't know about.

It's quite a distraction from my schoolwork.

His name is David Barrow, but he goes by Wash. He's a member of this site. He's somehow gotten dragged into a Dream bleedover and has been missing for several days. He may be possessed so if you do see him and he's acting strangely, don't approach him. Send either me or Carolina a message.

No matter what I eat or how much of it I'm starving. This is getting hard on my paycheck.

Our girls favorite Christmas gift has to be the one that was waiting here for them at home when we got back to Orange County. It’s a little electric car, except it’s shaped like a princess carriage instead of a jeep the way most kid cars are. I have to call them in from the yard where they’ve been playing with it almost every afternoon for dinner, and it’s hard to get them to come in. You can only extend “Just five more minutes!” so many times, after all.

I haven’t gotten to ride the horse Am’s parents gave me yet, but her quarantine time is almost up, and I’ve been learning on the girls’ horses on the weekends. I can’t wait until I can take my first lesson on Mistfall, though. She’s seriously the sweetest horse I’ve ever met. Not that I’ve met that many, but still. I’m a little less afraid of how big horses are because she’s just so gentle.

Meanwhile I’ve started research for my next book. And hopefully I can get started on it soon.

Glitter is the herpes of crafting supplies. It can lay dormant for years, but once it's out it spreads everywhere and is impossible to get rid of.

I don’t have a youtube channel or anything like that, but that’s where I learned to draw and how to use editing software. So many of the channels I’m following are freaking out about the way they’re going to change who gets paid for views and who doesn’t. They’re art channels, they’re smaller and might not make the viewing hours required before the deadline. But the bigger and more popular channels (including the ones that made them decide to do a whole reset of who does and doesn’t get monetized) will get there, no problem. It doesn’t seem fair somehow.

I would like to thank whoever is straightening their hair at 5:30 am, with no clue how to use a flat iron, for having to wake up because it set off the smoke alarm. Really, I had nothing better to do on a Sunday morning, like sleeping in, than to stand outside of the dorms in pajamas and bare feet while we all waited for an all clear.

Although I didn’t manage to get a surf Pikachu, I got confused on when the event was, I did manage to catch a couple of Plusles today. I don’t understand how they and the Minuns are not part of the Pikachu family. They honestly look like they should be alternate evolutions of the baby version.

Armin and I also got to try out something we got for when we want to take Zelda for a walk and Pan seems like he’s jealous. It’s a backpack like thing with a clear window for him to see out of. He got to go out to the dog park and look around from the safety of Armin’s backpack while Zelda ran around. Meanwhile Flopsy got to take a nap in her hutch without her siblings making noise and waking her up playing. By the time we got home, they wanted to sleep and she wanted to come out and play. But she’s not as noisy about it as the two of them are.
