I am more tan than I have ever been in my entire life! It turns out lifeguards mostly just sit on high chairs, watching everyone and tanning. I've only had to get into the pool once since I started working at the pool. It's still strange to think that I was one afraid of water and now I'm a lifeguard.

I don't know if it was a one-night-stand, or if it was the start of something more than that, but the alien I slept with is now on our adventures with us. And did you know it was possible for Loki to borrow someone's powers? I didn't, either.

I think I might look into self defence lessons, one of the girls I go to dog training with was attacked on her way home last week and she's decided on lessons since then.

I had the strangest dream last night. I was a child, but I could make ice and snow. Anna and I would play together. It could be the hottest summer and it didn't matter, we could always go sledding.

Was anyone else a little disappointed that Michael Phelps didn't actually race a shark? I had a feeling they wouldn't actually be able to do it, but I was still hopeful.
