So I was watching the original Dune tonight and it occurred to me - in that movie, and I think the book although it’s been awhile since I read it, the spice is the most valuable substance in their world right? And the worms produce the spice from the sand they eat. So if you think about it - the most valuable substance in the world of Dune is - worm poop.

Fashion here seems to be very different than what I’m used to. Today I saw someone who had pierced the bill of their baseball cap and all I can wonder is why? Why is this a thing that people do?

Okay so - I figured it was about time I showed a big part of the reason why I’ve been working from home at least one day a week.

It's cool having your own house that you can decorate up for the best holiday of the year. I think Wade and I did pretty good, and next year it'll only be better.

I attended the Haunted Hayride in Los Angeles last night and found it to be rather dull and boring. In fact, I didn't find anything truly scary for the halloween events this year. Everything is becoming to kiddy friendly for me.

So I'll admit I'm a little curious.

Does anyone else have dreams that very closely mirror their actual life?

Happy Halloween, everyone! Two days to come up with a costume was a challenge but I think I managed. One of my favorite video games growing up was final fantasy. So I decided to go back to that.

Yeah, just for the record I am not at the Cafe today - trying to do anything with this hair is killer. Whatcha think?

I'm ready to hit the parties at work. I think I am cheating at this costume thing but that is alright, I think. I mean, recycling work clothes is just too fun.

Don't forget - The Need/Want is hosting a Halloween party tonight! I'll be there, dressed to impress like usual!

Viv made the best little bee ever. She went Trick-or-Treating to family and some friends, but that was about it. We wanted to minimize our chances for a meltdown, so we made it an early night. Now she's out cold in her bedroom, bless her. And I've put on Beetlejuice. It's not *exactly* a Halloween film, but close enough. ;)

Oh, and all that candy is now being paired with a nice, red wine.
