Ugh these dreams are bad. I'm starting to sleep walk now.... Now I'm hallucinating... I just want to know what I am already...

Okay, you know how certain pregnant ladies get that whole stereotype of crabby and fussy and just plain annoyed all the time? There's a reason for it. Sleep deprivation. Sleep deprivation and a lazy baby who is officially past due to come into the world.

None of the methods work, I'm not past due enough to induce and I haven't slept longer than three hours at a time in the last four nights. And if one more happy smiley person touches my belly and asks questions I will zap them!

The enjoyment is officially waning.

Waking up to a bunch of scrapbooks piled all over my living room was not what I was expecting this morning, but at least they're in boxes so that's a plus. It'll be easier to move them to a storage building or burn them, or then again maybe it's time I stop living in my shitty apartment and find an actual house.

Some colleagues of mine have been sharing an influx of videos and photos of Eduardo Serio and his feline friends. It's reminded me that you don't need always need to fly half way around the world to do any good, but that opportunity exists very close to home. I think that this is one of my favourite organizations which exist out there. Maybe now that I'm based here in California, I'll reach out to them. Or at least go pay them a visit.

And, since it seems an appropriate time to make a PSA, if saving big cats seems overwhelming to you, rescuing an animal from a local shelter does just as much good in the world.

Today NASA tested the most powerful solid rocket booster to date! I know, I'm such a nerd, but god I wish I were in that crowd!

Some shocking scenes coming from the UK in the past couple of days. Some truly hateful and ignorant people. There's no place for racism in modern day society and I really hope they can find a way to heal the rifts.

In other news, here is a cat massaging a dog's head. I could really go for a massage right now, anyone have any recommendations?
