I almost feel guilty. In dreams, the Romans pushed us from the city we took. Julius Caesar had sneaked into our ranks. (It is nice to know he gets what's coming to him, in the end.) We're exiled and moving, I think, to the Alps. But the winter where we are is unforgiving. I do not think many will last through the days, especially with Romans at our heels.

And here I am, in waking world, moving into a big new place with my favourite person. I probably shouldn't feel bad about it, since they're just dreams, but I feel my dream counterpart would be not so pleased.

Alright~! Helllo, Orange County! Anyone out there tired of Dreams, weird storms, and boring days? Well, this next weekend, the fabulous Harleen Quinzel and Helena Wells are celebrating their upcoming nuptials with a come one, come-all party! It'll be held at Festival Park at [address], this Saturday, the 16th of January. All who come in peace and frivolity are welcome.

There will be tents, drinks, live music, and some firepits where food will be roasting.

That's right. Free food, music, and drinks, as long as you act respectfully.

I love this time of the year - I get to go lingerie shopping and everyone thinks it's for Valentine's Day. This is the first year that's not just an excuse, though, so I'm actually putting thought into it.

Those who like ladybutts: which is better? Something with hearts that's totally expected for VDay, something that's red and black and vaguely Valentine's Day themed, or something pink and cutesy? Normally I wouldn't stress this stuff, but it's our first Valentine's. I want it to be nice.

Valentine's Day is still a month away, but my restaurant is taking reservations already.

We'll have a special menu that night. Along with some particularly decadent desserts, we'll also have heart served four ways, for those adventurous enough to try it.

It's odd that Valentine's Day here is unisex.

Edit: I mean that it is strange that everyone gives gifts at the same time. I'm used to February being girls to boys, then March being boys to girls.

I take it back. Anyone who wants to visit me in the hospital can, I'm bored out of my mind. I'm at UCI Gottschalk hospital. Just ask for me and say you're my cousin.

Also, if you brought me gum, I'd love you forever. I'm nic fitting like crazy.

Well, since it looks like I'm going to be here for a while, may as well try some good ol' fashioned social networking to see if I can find some good places to eat, a few dives to drink at and overall have some fun while I'm here.

Getting on a long flight to France with Elizabeth. Honestly this feels like it's long over due.

I'm worried about a kid in my dreams. In my group of survivors, one of us has a son and he's young and doesn't understand that his mother is no longer human. He keeps wanting to chase after her, thinking he can cure her. Last night he left our hideout without telling anyone, tried to hop a bus. We had to chase after him. His father gave him a bit of a tongue lashing and I felt sorry for him, but furious at the same time. This is the kid who, when I scavenge for food, I always bring back a soda or some candy. I help take care of him. I'm not his parent, but he's part of my group. I'm worried he'll run off after his mother for good one day and wind up as one of them.
