Had the pleasure of going out East for a few days. Came back with an amazing amount of photos. You'd think having lived in Chicago most of my life I'd remember what Real winters were like. But I'd forgotten. It's beautiful, our snow was beautiful too, but this was something else.

I'm sitting here listening to oral reports.

I'd rather engage in a good debate, have an existential crisis, or whatever. I'm trying not to fall asleep. This is my purgatory.

I always feel a bit of guilty pleasure when I sing songs that are literally based on my life story.

“Her robe was blue as summer skies,
but grey as evening were her eyes;
her mantle sewn with lilies fair,
but dark as shadow was her hair.
Her feet were swift as bird on wing,
her laughter merry as the spring;
the slender willow, the bowing reed,
the fragrance of the flowering meed,
the light upon the leaves of trees,
the voice of water, more than these
her beauty was and blissfulness,
her glory and her loveliness.”

It seems rather narcissistic to do so, don't you think?

What is it with young people and having to socialize via a non-personable machine like a computer? What is the point of letting your eyeballs melt out of your head from staring at a screen for hours on end? There's a huge world out there full of people you can spend your time talking to in person. You know, if that's your thing. If you don't like people then I suppose you can simply sit there behind your computer, continue typing into that machine and let your eyeballs melt out of your head. Either way, no skin off my back.

I suppose what I'm trying to say is hello, this is pointless.

Amidst the rising crime rates within Orange County, an unknown person or persons has vandalized Peter Pan's Flight by removing the head of the animatronic Captain Hook for reasons unknown.

Crazy things are going on. It feels more crazy than ever lately.

Trying not to get too distracted by it. I have work to do. Patents Pending. It's pricey. But I've got a couple of companies interested in purchasing said patents... only problem is it takes two years to get the patent, and X many thousands of dollars. It would be great if I could get paid before then. I guess I'll just keep up my day job and continue being broke. And not freak out about

Maybe one of the Shark Tank guys will decide to pay me to invent things. Wouldn't that be awesome? God, I'm so worried about

Why would someone steal Captain Hook's Head? That's really sad! And disturbing. I guess someone's going to put it up in their dorm room, or whatever?

...don't they have cameras running on those rides? I guess whoever did it was either really, really good, or...? Or maybe they'll catch them? Or something else!

I think I'd rather have Peter Pan's head than Captain Hook's. If I was taking it to keep it. If I was simply taking it to deface the ride, then I suppose Hook is the way to go.

Back from my first flight! Very successful, no needing to jump into the pilot's seat or anything! Some turbulence here and there, but nothing terrible! Let me tell you though, it was a long weekend! Hopping between aircraft and then staying in a new hotel every night...it was something! But I think I'll enjoy it.

Seems like I've been missing a lot here, but not in a good way. To all my law enforcement friends, please be careful out there! There's got to be something in the water, yeah? I don't feel safe going outside anymore...it feels like the snow, but in a completely different way!

Bad news: I started school again!
Good news: Got offered another semester of being a teacher aid, must've done something right!

I think I'm going to have to start refreshing my European history because of these dreams. I have a decent knowledge of important things, in passing, but dreaming about all these historical figures and being involved in all of these pivotal moments really makes me realize how much I don't know. And, truthfully, it could be interesting to see what varies from my dreams and what actually happened. Though, can you believe it, Athos and I got knighted by King Charles I and then we got taken prisoner by Cromwell - and, of course, who should be agents of Cromwell but D'Artagnan and Porthos. Naturally we're all rather sick of England and are devising a way to save the poor king (a lost cause, I know, but our dream selves are so optimistic) so we can return to France.

And it's a good thing that my last dreams saw fit to give me this locked ebony box. My dream self has a habit of receiving very nice gifts and I like having a proper place to put them. This diamond cross looks quite nice next to the cross from Queen Anne.
