It would appear that whatever was going on the last few days is over, because Lucy came home, by herself, earlier today. While it was nice having the house to just Caspian and myself, it did seem odd that Lucy wasn't here since she's been out here for awhile now; besides, I'm sure Aslan missed her. Of course, I didn't mind it being just myself and Caspian for the last few days. I suppose someone is going to have to behave himself again now that Lucy is back.

Well, never a dull moment around here, is there? Sincerest thanks (and apologies) to the Flynn family for letting me stay on while my poor best friend was locked to Mister Flynn. I plan on sending a gift basket, just let me know what you'd like in it.

Is everyone else back to normal then? Everyone made some new friends? I know Aramis certainly has, since we're apparently having more people over than expected for his Feast Day. Bless, he'd invite the entire state over if he could.

It seems I was wrong about the dreams being finished after all. Just a bit ago I had another I think. Paris again, but bit of a different Paris. I don't know how to explain it, except I had a yellow horse this time around. I'm fairly sure every eye in the city was watching me and insulting it. I ended up fighting with a group of them before I even made it to my final destination which was of course to see Monsieur de Treville. They weren't insulting directly at me, but that horse had been a family gift. I wouldn't stand for it. Naturally I had to stand up for it since it could not itself. It didn't end well.

I challenged a group of men on my own and was over powered. They didn't even face me with swords, they chose shoves and sticks and other random stuff to hit me with. Four to one and I still didn't move to escape. I didn't miss the headache these dreams left us with that's for damn sure.

Someone bring me a car to work on. I need distractions today. I'll even give a discount. Big one.

Finally introduced my fiance to my parents, it went well.

But last night I had some really messed up dreams. Most of my dreams are messed up to begin with, but these were a new kind of messed up.

Usually I dream about visiting parallel realities, this time I was dreaming I was another version of me. Second time that's happened.

One of the worst-case scenario world for mutants I've seen. Constantly hunted by giant robots bent on killing my kind.

Everything seems to be falling apart nicely, at least in my dreams. Makes me wonder what the right thing to do here. Seems like people who put on the kind of uniform I wear don't get happy endings. Maggie'll understand. I hope.

Also woke up with puncture marks in my neck.

Do not want.

Now I can't stop thinking that it would be better if I left Elsa, too...earn a masters degree in breaking up with fiances.

Closing Ciao Bella! early tonight. I just simply cannot find it in me to care tonight. I'm just done.

Thank god I am not stuck with that overgrown baboon anymore. He totally ruined dance practice for me, and I swear if I see another idiot waving a sword around I might scream.

Plus he would have ruined my birthday this weekend.

While, like any Canadian, I feel there is something fundamentally wrong with a hockey opener being played in a region that hit triple digits this week and is in the middle of a drought, I was still pleased to see last season's Stanley Cup champions be soundly shut out.

And although I was born in Toronto, their abysmal failures and my studies in Montreal allowed me to shift my allegiance to the Habs with little difficult, and it was heartening to hear of their win against the Leafs during their opener. I say hear, since of course, living in Southern California, I am now unable to watch Hockey Night in Canada, or any games not airing on the NHL network or NBC Sports, which are both cable networks that I do not have access to. Furthermore, one cannot be assured that hockey will be airing on the television at a bar, as you would in any Canadian city.

Truly, the OC is a new circle of hell Dante could not have foreseen.
