Watching world news was probably not the best idea today, it has me now questioning faith in people in general. Is there any good news anywhere?

Sorry I've been away, everyone! Between kitten proofing my dorm, classes, studying, and looking for good charities to volunteer for I've been absolutely swamped!

What's this I've been hearing about explosions and property damage? Have they caught those responsible?

Well this is awkward. I just remembered the name he gave me. I just got hit by the Fucking Cajun.

I bet this sort of thing happens all the time here. It sort of happens all the time in New Orleans, too. Crazy pedestrians everywhere.

On the upside, my new penthouse is sublime. Thank you, Newport Beach, for the beautiful water-front property.

Did anyone else feel that earthquake? I swear I felt something.

Have I made the right decision to hang up my spurs? A lot of the news today was difficult to... well, I wouldn't say ignore. I can't ignore it any more than I can ignore the stories coming out of the Middle East. These ones are closer to home. But I made a decision to help in other ways. It may take some time before I cease to second guess myself.

Then again, what's new about that?
