I can't believe I'm going to the prom tomorrow. I hadn't been expecting to go since I still don't really have many friends or anyone that I hang out with from school, but I wasn't going to decline the invitation. Marcel bought me a beautiful dress. I need to figure out where to get my hair done tomorrow though. I'm in Laguna Beach, so does anyone know of any place good?

I have no idea why Enjolras thought it would be a good idea to sign me up without asking to volunteer at some bookstore. There's really only one appropriate reaction, though.

Gotta love Mako - my dog. Every morning at 5AM, regardless of my schedule or health, she plunks her little puppy butt on my head and wags her tail in my face so I'll get up and wrestle with her.

Well. It's not REALLY wrestling - I'd win, that's how tiny she is! It's more like enthusiastic hugging. Silly dog's turning me into a morning person.

Daddy's having a big gala thing to raise money for Atlantica's grant program. I know I'm gonna have to go, but hopefully I don't need to be there too long. I mean, I'm hoping to work with Atlantica once I'm out of school but those big parties can get a bit dull. There's never anyone my age there apart from my sisters.

Does anyone want to do anything on May 31st so I have a reason to leave early? :D

Wow, I almost forgot that today is my birthday. So much has changed from this time last year. This also means that I've had my crown for a year. Yup, I got it on my birthday last year. Still strange to think that I have a crown, but also kind of cool actually. Might have to go take it out and put it on for a bit. It'll be quite silly, but it's not as if I'm gonna go out on the beach with it on.

There is nothing like waking up from a dream in which you've been strangled with a wire only to find out that you've been strangled with a wire when you wake up too.

I'm fine. I'm just going to have a scar.

And I'm a banshee.

Is that your handwork on the news?

It's probably just me and this is extremely silly, but I'm extremely happy that Starbucks has the Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappe back! I fell in love with that last summer and then it was gone. I don't know what it is about it that I love, but it's ten times better than any other frappe.

Did a bit of secret planning today for something secret and it's shaping up to be extremely fun.
