Are there any accountants on this network? Or someone who has referrals for one? My previous accountant got too busy with his day job to continue doing the books for the bakery.

Hello there, Valarnet. It's been a while. Just checking in.

Every time I look into the mirror I am surprised at what I look like. I spent years, decades, not looking at myself, except for a quick second to make sure I was up to standards. I wonder idly when I have turned out as I did. I came out much more unscathed from the wars that I've than expected.

What a strange day, to be thinking like this.

Today was run ten miles day - put running shoes on and just let go. It felt good to shake up the routine a bit. I got to see parts of the city and beaches I'd forgotten about. I love running, even if I much prefer fighting or dancing. The run felt great and I stopped for a healthy smoothie and a grilled chicken salad afterwards, which tasted amazing. I love finding little hole in the wall cafes.

I really love this city. I was able to find a really old Opel GT to work on. Project cars! I love them. Even if it's going to take forever to get her up and running again. That's okay, totally worth it.

There's a Renaissance Faire in Irwindale until the middle of May. Loras and I had talked about going last year, but never had the chance. I'm thinking about making the time this year. Not only would it be interesting considering my dreams, but I could also talk to the performers, do some networking.

It appears my parents are coming to visit next month. The last time they traveled out was when I graduated from MIT, they've certainly never been as far as California. I suspect I'll have to come up with various ways to keep them entertained, too. If anyone has any suggestions I would certainly be forever grateful.
