I just want to let everyone know that I'm alive. I know Tessa posted that I was in the hospital and I am, but I'm doing much better now. For anyone who is curious, yes, it was related to my dreams, but I'm fine now. For the most part. I'll be here for a few more days, for observation, but I'm alive.

Some days I wonder if I'm making any progress at all. I've been working court rooms now for a while, but occasionally we get a repeat case, and it just makes me wonder if the world is any better because of the system. Do I make any impact at all? My goal is Supreme Court, but that doesn't mean I don't want to make a positive difference in the lives my cases effect. Maybe today I just need a break they said, but I can't take a break. I have court in an hour.

Lunch on my first day back to work after a few months off. It feels weird to be back. But good. Things are good so far.

I can't believe today is my first full day of work. I have had different jobs before, but none that I moved across the world for. Director Fury has high standards to live up to in order to keep me hanging around this job.

Anyway, my name is Peggy and I just moved here from England a couple weeks ago. I have been laying low and trying to get a feel for this new place. I think I have experienced as many touristy things as I can, but I may still be missing things. Anything else I should make sure to check out?

So I have to lay down, and not even in the fun way, especially with a gorgeous woman around. People! I crave entertainment!

I am going out of town for a little while. I've decided I needed a personal vacation.

I decided to quit dancing at the burlesque show. It was super fun and all, I have a lot of great memories at that place! But...

All the people that I really cared about there are gone now. I kinda want to keep my good memories alive and well as good ones, you know? I don't think that'll still be true if I go back there.

I'm super busy with expedition stuff and wedding planning anyway. Have you ever tried to put together a wedding from across the ocean? OMG People, I just don't sleep anymore. I'm always on the phone with someone at odd hours. Thank god for Skype!

Had a boring birthday this weekend, just the way I like it. Mom was nice about it. She tried to make a cake.

My staff are attempting a surprise party for my birthday tonight. Silly minions of them to think they could hide anything from me.

How is it that Easter has the best candy of all the holidays?

It's at in-between times like these, during the transition of winter to spring or summer to fall, that I start to feel a peculiar ache in my wrist. Not a phantom limb per se, but an odd sort of itching. A desire to flex fingers that aren't there any more.

Terribly strange feeling, it is. I can't seem to shake it.

Has anyone else noticed a wave of those "what [insert the blank here] are you?" quiz results on Facebook? I mean, jeez, if I wanted to know what pasta dish I'd be, I think I could figure that one out on my own.

I'm glad no one posts that sort of thing here. Just dream stuff. And I had more Dreams, so here I am, posting about them.

It's been a month now since The Pie Hole opened and I honestly couldn't be happier with the reception it's gotten. We've been so busy lately that I've had to come in even earlier than usual to get the majority of the pies baked and prepped for the day. Plus there's the pies that have been ordered. So, I figure it's about time that I hire another baker. I'll have to put an ad out soon.

While we're still on the topic of pies, I recently made an Apple-Gruyère Pie, which was actually pretty good. I've been making a lot more pies with cheese in them lately because someone put the idea in my head. Now most of my google searches are for pie recipes with cheese.

It appears that my boss is moving, but luckily the clinic will remain open and run by another vet there. I had been worried briefly that I'd need to find another job already and I've only had this one for a short time. So I'm very relieved that I won't need to look for a few job, but it is unfortunate that my boss is moving.

Sirius and I will be leaving Saturday for England. We finally decided a few weeks back where we were going to go on our vacation, which is my school vacation and we found tickets that weren't horrendously expensive. The full moon is tomorrow, so we won't have to worry about that. I'm looking forward to this trip quite a lot. It'll be nice to spend time with Sirius with no interruptions.

Seeing as neither of us have been to England before, except in our dreams, what should we see for sure while we're there? I know there's quite a lot of people here who are from England.

So, if anyone can think of any cons to having this adorable ball of adorableness in their lives, tell me now, because I desperately want one!
