My friend James Carstairs was taken into hospital last night. I don't know how bad it truely is and the doctors didn't seem to either, but he was feverish and hallucinating and they don't know why. At least they didn't when they eventually kicked me out this afternoon. I know he would appreciate visits and support from his friends, so please drop by and see him.

I'm going to try and sleep now then head back in the morning.

Gods, it's good to be back. When you think you need to leave a place, sometimes it isn't the place that we're running from at all.

A lady tipped me $50 today for getting a knot out of her back. Made my morning - a lot of my clients don't even know you're supposed to tip.

My rent's already covered, so anybody know a good place where the rum's good but won't break the bank? I'm tired of my usual haunts and want to go have a little fun.

It appears I'll be making an unexpected trip this weekend. Too bad it'll be quick, but I suppose you can't win them all. C'est la vie, they say.

I do hope nothing exciting happens here while I'm gone.

Think I need a drink. Possibly many. Anyone else? It's Friday somewhere.

ohmygosh I've been to see that Captain America: Winter Soldier movie, like, four times now.

SOOOO... on Sunday, 4/13, the Orange County Museum of Art is opening up a new exhibit and I really really wanna go. I love to see all the art there, not to mention the travelling exhibits. This one looks pretty spectacular, too.

Sooooo, I think I had one of those DREAMS that I see mentioned on this network. But I want to be sure before I mention

Does anyone else dream in sort of... bubbly, colorful, happy lines? With... well, strange creatures and things?

I want my dreams to stop. But I think I know what happens next. And I don't want that either.

I'm so scared to close my eyes.

I'm normally pretty okay with the seasons and trees and stuff, but let me first to say: SPRING SUCKS. No, seriously, I just sneezed so hard I popped my back and I have a headache and my nose is stuffy and runny at the same time how is that possible just leave me here to die.

Go on without me, guys.

I guess the weird of this place hasn't gotten to me yet. I'm starting to feel left out.

So I need a job. I can't keep scrounging off my brother or my savings and it might help me decide what I actually want to do with my life.

I've been told people here can be pretty handy so if you know of anything please let me know!

Oh I'm living in the Seal Beach area and don't have a car.

It almost seems strange that my dreams are over. They've been over for awhile now, but it's still strange. Been cycling through a couple of different ones recently. I don't mind the good ones, but I could do without the bad ones. I could do without the Boxcar Tunnel 20 dreams. Those ones make me hungry and I don't want to go back to that.

It's been a month now since I started weening myself off blood and I've had a few cravings, but I like to think I've been doing a pretty good job at suppressing them. Like I said before, I've just been eating more food. Helps suppress it. Don't know why; it just does. Also been smoking more, which Annie has complained about a few times. Not that I blame her.

Does anyone know anything about sewing machines? Annie has one, but I want to get her a really nice one and I want it to be a surprise. I'm gonna turn one of our extra bedrooms into a work space for her so she doesn't have to use the dining room table.

I will confess, despite having a job I enjoy, I am lonely here.

To look out my window and see people, businesses and beautiful things is nice, but it simply isn't the same without someone to share it with. It was my choice to come here, but at the same time, there are things I miss. I miss Creole being spoken in the street. I miss the food. I miss the reality - so many are so fake here. At least most of you on this network seem to be actual people instead of vapid caricatures - no one has yet complained about their tan, or their juice cleanse!

I am sure this is just irritated ramblings, and it will pass. But for now I feel it most acutely.
