I feel I should loathe this network, but, in truth, I find it cathartic. The thought that someone might be listening without complaint is alarmingly comforting, in a sense. Who would have thought.

My mood has at least taken a turn from anger to what I've decided is nostalgia. It's funny how these dreams have brought some of the pleasant, real memories I have of my brother and I. I'd forgotten times like that even existed, but there you have it.

I suppose I miss him, fool that he is. But I wouldn't take those words too seriously, most likely their brought on by a lack of sleep and nothing more.

I almost can't believe that my birthday is next month. Well, mine and Bran's birthday. Yeah, my best friend and I just happen to have the same birthday. What're the odds of that? It's hard to believe I'll be eighteen. It just doesn't feel plausible somehow. Maybe it's cause I dream about being ten or maybe it's cause I feel like I've also bad to grow up quicker than most kids my age. Whatever it is, it feels strange.

In other news, I finally set a date to take my GED. I've been meaning to do this for so long and something just seems to come up every time. So, nothing ah better get in the way this time.

So, this morning was entertaining. I woke up with what I can only call a contraction - but the baby is only 33 weeks. Not even eight months in. It hurt like a son of a bitch. I debated basically just sitting there, freaking out and hoping it'd wake up Logan.

But I got the phone, and I googled "early contractions." And it turns out there's something called Braxton Hicks contractions, which are basically practice for your uterus.

I'm incredibly relieved that's all it seemed to be, but I swear to God, I'm gonna be a little fucking uptight for the next month or so. I should probably find other moms to talk to - googling shit isn't the same.

I'm so excited! I start my first teaching placement next week! I'm there for four weeks to observe and assist.

The alien technology in my dreams is rather incredible and it seriously makes me wish I were receiving things from my dreams like others are.

I know not everybody has good dreams and in all honesty some of mine are very worrying but overall I'm rather enjoying them.

Working around all this ice makes me think of going somewhere warm. Where would be the best place? Maui? Jamaica? The Sahara Desert? Not that I've ever been anywhere warm, save for the beach here during the summer. And with that recent volcano it made the weather a little warmer than usual, although not as pleasant as a sandy beach. Still, everything seemed to work out alright yeah?
