Okay so what the hell is up with this holiday thing here? I mean, I know Japan has plenty of traditions, but this one I'm not getting for whatever reason. A day to say thank you? I don't think you need one of those. Every day should be to say thank you.

So, Orihime, doing anything for this holiday thing coming up?

Tomorrow is my first college Homecoming game! I'm super pumped because it seems like it should be a lot of fun. It's kind of a big deal apparently. I don't even care about football, but I got some new school spirit stuff to wear and my roomie is hoping that I'll hang out with her group of people, but as long as I have Percy to talk to then I won't mind.

So, my dreams continued and I really didn't enjoy them very much. They were kind of scary and I felt completely helpless as I watched "little dream me" try to save her friends from the Cyclops. Luckily I'll feisty and I managed to help save my friends. But... as we made our way towards the protection camp there were too many monsters and my friend sacrificed herself to save us. She's a daughter of Zeus so he felt sorry that she had to do that and turned her into a pine tree that helped strengthen the barrier to keep monsters out. A pine tree - seriously? What kind of crazy father does that.

But the rest of us were safe and time passed quickly in my dreams and I grew up at the camp. Then my dreams kind of came back into focus when there was commotion at the camp and none other than my crazy friend, Percy Jackson, made his appearance into camp. My dreams ended with me taking care of him the nurse's tent after his battle.

I think I prefer real college over these dreams.

My birthday was the other day and I'm so glad that I have such a lovely girlfriend to spend it with. Due to this unfortunate ability to always tell the truth she was able to actually spend the day with me and was nice enough to cook me a meal! It's been a long time since someone cooked me a meal for my birthday and I haven't gone out to a restaurant. Definitely one of my better birthdays. Now I just need to figure out if I want to go back to see my grandmother for Thanksgiving in a couple weeks or not.

I was thinking of going out this weekend to celebrate since my birthday fell on a Wednesday. Would anyone be up for that? Not quite sure where to go, so I am definitely open for suggestions.

There's not enough wine in the world to make me feel good about this last dream. I can't get my head around this woman and her thought process, apparently no one ever had the 'don't go looking for a date at your family reunion' talk with her. Then again she sprung fully formed from the sea and severed male bits, so either her brain never formed or it was water logged.

Bad enough that he's her father-in-law, but he's also her nephew and in the real world he's my cousin and then they're gonna end up having a kid. It's all just... wrong!

I'm kinda at a loss. Christmas is coming so fast and I have no idea what to get Damon. I guess gifts for your significant other are always the hardest.

Sigrun and I got to chatting the other day and feel we have been snubbed for our age from the forming roller derby team so in that spirit, we have decided to create our own.

The Valkyries are recruiting women from the ages of twenty-one to thirty-eight. You will need quad skates, elbow and knee pads, wrist guards, helmet and a mouth guard.

Practice should run into the late afternoon and evening hours.

We also need a head coach and I'm told we wouldn't say no to a handsome male cheerleader or two.
