So, I was out tonight, trying to take my mind off certain things and I stumbled upon two guys trying to steal a girls purse. Suffice to say, I knocked em both out cold and called the police on them. I stood a good distance away and waited to make sure they actually came to get them and once the police showed up, I left. I thought the adrenaline surge I get when I train was something, but that was crazy. They got in a few hits on me, but for the most part I think they were shocked that a scrawny kid like me overtook them.

I'm finally fully moved into Sirius' house. I suppose it's our house now. Having lived together once before means we shouldn't come across too many surprises. Yes, it's been quite a few years and we're both different people than we were before, but I don't think we've changed too much. Of course now I'll have him trying to distract me while I'm grading papers, but that shouldn't be much different than when he tried to distract me while I was doing my own homework the last time we lived together.

Is anyone else going to volunteer this Thanksgiving? (Really, it's rather far off, but 'tis the season with all of the holidays in it.) I don't have any family, so it just makes sense.

And before someone says "surely you have an aunt or something", no. I don't. My parents were both only children, my mom died when I was young, and my father when I was seventeen. My grandparents passed a few years ago. So no. I don't.

One good thing about my job is that it's really hard to worry about my crappy dreams when I'm on shift. Way for me to see the silver lining in murders, right?

After twelve hours at the hospital, my eyes are so damn dry. I just tried to put some eye drops in so I'll be able to sleep without them itching and instead of getting the drops in my eyes, I get it all around them. They make it look so easy in the commercials. At least I'm off tomorrow and can get some sleep. Maybe I'll see what Mickey is up to, but for now, sleep.

Ah'm bored. What should ah do today? Also ah feel kinda happy that ah ain't had any new dreams lately. it's kinda nice not worrying about what's next.

Well it looks like I'm off to Kabul nope, not Kabul, but close enough I suppose on Thanksgiving. Well a few days before but I don't think I'll be back before it. Not that I had anywhere to be, of course, but I usually do a volunteer thing with some of the other Marines. Guess this year I'll be living it up in sand. It's almost depressing, really, I almost rather be here with all the weird, and not being shot at.

I've discovered a new favorite hobby - laying out under the trees in the sun. (Don't worry Yumi! I've got only the best sun protection.) I don't even mind going to work after a nap in the sun. I mean, I still hate work, but at least it seems no one cares if I throw fries at Renji.

And I finally got the cooks to stop with their ridiculous nickname although I think... that new one might be more annoying Enough frozen burgers to the head will teach them, right?

The voices in my head tell me it's time for Ice Cream. Or a blight, but I'm hoping for Ice Cream.

I've been reading more of my "ancestor's" journals since the last dream I had. I was out with that girl that I'd met at a party and then I blacked out even though I hadn't been drinking. Later that night, I started looking up vampire stuff on-line. I don't know why I think she's a vampire, but ever since these journals showed up, it's just started making sense. But it's crazy. I mean, vampires can't be real. I mean, yeah, they could be real in dreams, but not in real life. Seriously, if these dreams don't stop, I think I'm gonna go crazy.

Then there's the fact that Elena got into a car accident and waited until after she'd been to the hospital to even tell me. I mean, our parents died in a car crash in the dreams. Part of me wishes that's how they'd died in real life so I wouldn't have had to find them. Doesn't she think that's something I should have known sooner? Right now her and Katherine are all I have and Katherine is MIA right now, so it's just her. She should be more careful.

Seeing as how Thanksgiving isn't exactly a holiday I've ever celebrated, I'm contemplating spending part of the day at the Children's Home. I'm sure they'll need help and will be happy to have it. Perhaps after Tywin will want to have dinner.

These last few weeks have been particularly trying, and I'm afraid I missed out on communication of all kinds while I attempted to learn how to deal with migraines.

I am feeling better now though, and feel I've gotten everything under proper control.

Okay, so now that I have bachelorette party planning out of the way, I have a very serious question for any doctors who frequent this board. I'm looking for someone who knows anything about egg extraction/storage. I'll explain further to anyone who can help.

I'm starting to think about Thanksgiving, as I'm sure a lot of other people are. My parents and baby sister are coming over, and Kev's side, too, so we're gonna have a full house. Trying to figure out what side dishes we'd like. Does anyone have any favorites?

Looks like we're gonna have three more for Thanksgiving this year than we did last year, what with Myrcella and Damian living here and I'm obviously inviting Gendry. So, unless Robb and Jon have girlfriends they haven't told us about or Sansa has a secret boyfriend, there should be eleven of us at Thanksgiving dinner this year. That means that my mother is probably going to want me to help cook. I'm sure Gendry will want to come over early to watch that. At least I'm a little better at this stuff than my father. Seems like being British makes him unable to make a turkey. Guess it's a good thing I'm only half British.

Just because I appear to be an elderly lady does not mean that all my brain cells have died off. Even though I love surfing in the summer, there's something about surfing in fifty degree weather in the middle of November. Yes, I'm one of those crazy people. I actually got up at five this morning and went out surfing for like an hour. After awhile you become immune to the fact that the water is freezing.

On another note, I haven't had any dreams in awhile and I'm getting really curious about what's gonna happen next. I'm either gonna wear Brian down or he's going to do something to push me away for good. Anyone else actually look forward to the dreams?
