I feel so much older than I am (not that that's a bad thing). At least my birthday was nice.

My baby younger brother finally convinced me to join this network so I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Valentine Wiggin, I'm 14 soon to be 15 and a high school student. That's about it really, I like reading, writing and swimming as often as I can.

So anything I need to know? Apart from this place being crazy I mean ;)

Is there anything more pleasant than an unexpected cupcake on your desk? It's my receptionist's birthday, and she brought in treats for us. I'm really glad I hired her, she's been an amazing help. I couldn't do what I do without her.

And right now what I'm doing is eating a cupcake and playing a game on my phone until my next appointment. Ah, bliss.

Hamlet is depressed, the vet confirmed it. I guess that's what I get for giving him that name, but how could I resist? I'm just happy he hasn't found himself a girlfriend, the last thing I want is to find a drowned pig in my pool or water features. Still, I know it's my fault. I'm not set up for pets really, my place is mostly concrete and I only have decorative grass. And then there's the fact that pigs are apparently super social, it's just me and him for now and maybe I'm not the most attentive. So I pretty much fail at pet ownership. So that and discovering that ultimatums do not a happy husband make, things have been pretty sucky.

I'm starting to think that maybe Hamlet might be better off with someone else, someone better equipped to handle him and his needs. He's a good boy, smart, affectionate, adorably vocal, but right now he's very sad and probably knows he needs a much better home than the one I'm giving him.

Awesome. I love making an idiot of myself in front of the hot guy I kind of want to see if I can get to have a drink with me.

Oh well, at least I won't bug anyone when these dreams drive me totally nuts.

Finally got the guts to Called home today to see about Thanksgiving. Seems Mom's not so thrilled to hear from her only daughter from all the way across the country.

Said until I could grow up and learn to move on instead of this whole vendetta thing I got goin' on, that I might as well not bother coming home. Well great.

Commence with the drinking.
