So I've been pretty good lately, well I've been trying. I may have spent double the gross national product of a small African nation on shoes yesterday but that's actually an improvement for me. But over all, I've been good, mainly on the phone with Hubby trying to convince him to come visit me for Christmas. So you'd think the universe or whatever would be happy and reward me with positive karma or whatever, right?

Well, I found a pig in my swimming pool this evening. Seriously. I'm not kidding. There was a pig taking a moon-lit swim in my pool. I have no idea where he came from, probably a neighbor's pet or something but no one has claimed him yet.

I'm taking this as a sign that I need to get out more. That and maybe a pet pig really wouldn't be that weird, I mean, he's pink which means he matches about eighty percent of what I own anyway. And he really is cute.

Anybody on here know one Bucky Barnes? And if so - do you know what sort of things he'd like to get as a present? I'm trying to think of an 'I want you to be my fella' gift, and I want to do better than a tie.

Well, there goes my afternoon.

I never thought I'd say this, but thank God it's Friday. I feel like this today.

Ah can't decide if ah'm going to do Halloween this year or not. a little paranoid about it, to be honest It could be fun, ah've not done a Halloween in quite a few years.

Forgot to tell you the other week, your housemate's pretty awesome.Ah introduced her to Gumbo. Also this week was fun! Ah helped fight off a cougar ^_^

Ah think ah need to step it up a notch. Got corned by a cougar last week when ah went out with Lara. You may have noticed the scratches and me not getting out of bed for a day to sleep it off, ah just kind of forgot to tell you. Oops?

Does anyone else love this outfit as much as I do? I can smell a(nother) Disneyland trip coming on.

Also, Baseball. Who knew it was the sport of Vampires?

I'm throwing one! With games and alcohol and more games and non-alcohol because I want to be kid friendly and there'll be a costume contest! The winner will get a glass sculpture!

And a contest for the kids, the winner will get candy. Lots of candy.

Ever do something and then realize something wonderful afterwards, that you hadn't realized you were going to realize?

Holy cow I've almost been married a whole year. What do you get for first anniversaries? Paper? ... smokes for Pete. ANNIVERSARY, SORTED!

Baby Zelda is learning how to stretch her wings. It makes me so happy to see her stretch her little hands, her little feets, and her little wings.

Okay, seriously, marriage is one of the most awesome things ever. Seriously, I keep looking at my ring like I've never seen a ring before.

I need a drink

I think this is one of those evenings that calls for turning off my phone and finding a quiet corner to read in.

So, camping this weekend. Dad kind of flipped out about it, but luckily I have the world's coolest aunt who convinced him that California isn't THAT cold and that I won't freeze to death. Aren't overprotective dads the funnest?

Anyway, I am mostly packed and way too wired to sleep right now. Please tell me there's a good party going somewhere?
