Animal mayhem at the ranch today. We got it handled.

Had the kids cleaning cow crap out of the office. Shoveling shit is an important life lesson.

Okay, so I found a place at Newport Beach.

-3 bedrooms
-2.5 bathrooms
-two floors
-spacious
-patio

And it only comes $2515 per month. With the 3 of us that's about $840 per person...which isn't too bad given the other places that I saw.

Also we can move in as soon at Thursday.

The issue then becomes...who gets the Master Bedroom? Although, according to the floor plan, it's not much bigger than the other two rooms. floor plan

For the last few weeks, my dreams have been more surreal than adventure-y. Like, the moon was trying to eat Earth and I had to collect creepy masks... And then the moon ate me. And apparently there are trees on the moon. And air. Or maybe I was dead. I'm not sure.

But I think I've seen all there is to see of that saga. I really hope I move onto something else, now.

Ironically, in my dreams my brother and Elena write in journals. I don't bother. Funny that I am talking about them on the net.

So, I am the bad guy, at least so far. I do have all the best dream lines, and a thing for Varvatos. Basically, I'm a smooth, stylish dick. Is anyone that surprised? Life is supposed to fucking imitate art, not dreams. I still don't have any dream gifts though. My body feels the same.

My dreams focus on history. I haven't seen some of the same people that others in the dream claim to see. Is that normal? These things make me feel like I've slept for days, not just a few hours.

Never been to Boston before, it's pretty interesting so far. Think the most interesting thing is Ms. Hazel's guest room. Feels like I'm sleeping inside a little girl's brain. I almost broke these little porcelain dogs this morning, because I was bleary and the eyed freaked me out.

Other than that, this trip is pretty fun! The Boston office of Frost Enterprises is a lot more phallic, and the people scurry a lot faster when Mr. Frost walks through the place. Have to admit, it's entertaining as hell.

Just under two weeks until Mac and I get married and everything seems to be going to plan.

I'm a little worried since things have been quiet around here that something disastrous will happen to throw a spanner in the works but that might just be my pessimistic side showing ;) Other than that I am getting very excited - especially as my dress was delivered yesterday!

Well, that was quick. I thought I was done with dreams for a bit, but ended up having more. They were very short dreams, which was nice. However, I was literally stabbed in the back by someone and left neutralized until Damon and Elijah decided to undagger the rest of my brothers and myself. And then my supposedly dead mother walked into the room to surprise us. This is such a bad soap opera.

In other, happier, news - Natalia took her first steps yesterday. She was very wobbly, but she managed to make it a little bit before falling on her butt. Quite adorable and yes, I managed to get a video of it because she tried it a couple more times. I also managed to yell really loudly and get Stefan downstairs to witness. Now it's time to make sure everything is out of her reach.

Has anyone seen the goddamn science dog?

I informed the congregation of this on Sunday, but I thought it might bare repeating. Regulus and I are trying for a child through a surrogate. Unfortunately baring a child myself is not something that God had in his plans for us, but we believe that we will be able to create a loving family through another. I am greatly blessed to have such a loving and understanding family to which I can lean on during this time.

If I didn't know any better I would say that in my professional opinion the man I am living with is going through a mid-life crises. The cherry red car showed up on it's own though, so I don't think I can really classify it as such. In the mean time? I will pass it off as one of his endearing quirks.

Now that we've finally finished getting the furniture arranged in this place, I should probably start looking for a job. Something to get some money coming in while I'm trying to work out this record deal. Anybody looking to hire somebody who's only job experience is guitar gigs? I'm willing to learn a new skill.

So uh... Zap Apples? Funny thing that I dreamed about them last night, and now... I think I might need some help harvesting. A Zap Apple Tree showed up in our backyard.
