I've been given the go ahead to apply for the police academy. I have a lot of things to read for all the exams.

I'm actually feeling much better. Being a waitress is just not my thing.

I'll take all well wishes, I need them.

The other day I heard something rattling around in my sock drawer. Which was odd, seeing as socks don't tend to rattle. Upon investigation, I found an old Cambridge ring.

I say old because it looked quite well worn, and rather tarnished. I'm sure it isn't mine, as mine is silver and this one is gold.

I think I'll keep it as a good luck charm.

Being back to my normal age is definitely a good thing. I guess being stuck otherwise wasn't so bad for short time, but not knowing I would change back? That sucked.

Thanks to those who talked to me and helped. I really couldn't have gotten through without you.

That's one thing I love about this place. People come together and help each other, a lot. It's enough to renew a man's hope in the world.

I had such an interesting dream last night... My husband and I were in sixteenth century Spain, gambling in some alley -- at least, I think it was sixteenth century. Granted, my knowledge of history isn't that great. We were winning, but our opponent offered us a map of the New World against all our cash -- and not just any part of the New World, but a map to El Dorado. Miguel was, of course, all over it. I wasn't so enthused, but Zaragoza wouldn't take no for an answer.

Miguel, I love you, but I am never going to take you to poker with me. You are not a good luck charm, darling.

I'm glad that the disappearing magic came back! I was worried that it would stay gone and I'd rather gotten used to it. It really does make things a lot easier sometimes.

Anyway, does anybody know a live band that they recommend? I need one for my wedding in August :)

It's weird, being out at sea and just enjoying myself. I'm used to working a lot, and this rest thing is slow to catch on. I think I startled the cruise ship staff by actually using the gym room, which apparently not a lot of people did, recently.

And of course, there's the weird thing, I still have no powers. Whatever changed back there in the OC, my powers are still gone, utterly. And I don't miss them one bit. Sure, yeah, it's weird, but... nope, I don't miss them. I hated those power, with a burning passion.

Does it seem extremely prideful of me to think I might actually be able to do a better criminal profile than the fool on this television show? I mean, I was a policeman in my dreams, and worked in a crime lab, but I didn't finish graduate school. I don't recall any profiling experience in my dreams. And even if I did, well. They're still dreams.

It just seems ridiculous. tw: discussion of criminology and murder/postmortem gore ) Overkill requires personalization and deep rage - how can someone have that deep a rage against someone they've just met?

Maybe I should just stop watching true crime shows.

Being the agent of a philanthropic organization is a lot like my old job. People lie, cheat, and steal, I investigate, and manage to help some people, and in the end, there are some good days and some bad days.

Being married, on the other hand, is like nothing I've ever done before. I love it. My wife, the awesomely groovy AJ, makes me happier than I've ever been. I don't know what I did to deserve her, but I than ks the stars I have her.

Finding another job is turning out to take longer than I thought, but that's okay. I have savings built up, and this is really increasing my time to work on some engineering projects. Not to mention rehauling my entire computer system from scratch. Weird, but fun.

The lacking powers thing was weird, and felt a little unsettling, but having them all come back at once was worse. Nothing like having thousands of years of memories hit you all at once to make your brain hurt. Nah, better not say that.

How's everyone else doing?

I do think we should have more of these beach parties this year. That was fun, and interesting. And I got to meet more of you than I had before.

Having a break before I start filming my next movie is nice. Spending more time with my dear, and with my friends, feels good. Most of the last few months felt like they shot past like lightning.

The strange dreams aren't contagious around here, are they? I've lived in Orange County for years without a single disturbing dream and now I've had quite a few. Maybe I should get myself checked out.

You'll have to excuse me if I don't respond right away. It seems the parking lot at work is full of bounce houses and I know a certain little girl who would love to spend some time in one of them.

One bad thing about slowly gaining dream memories and powers is that sometim4s the bad sides come with them. Not everything is either nightmares or sun and roses. Sometimes, you can have good dreams, and annoying side effects.

Take me, for example. I get magic from the dreams, but the kind of wizard I'm becoming had a hard time with electrical, electronic, and some mechanical things. The longer I Dream, the more this becomes true of real life, as well. I've gone through three phones and one laptop, as well as a car. If business wasn't good here, I would be in really bad shape.

Mind you, there are compensations. Magic is fun, and helpful in detective work. But sometimes... oi.

More dreams. Zombies living at the airport. Lots of us. Have friends, got married. Zombie weddings are strange.

Guess zombies eat brains to see memories? Dreamt I had the memories of some guy. Weird.

Feeling really ... Thinking just fine. Hard to connect thoughts to words though. Easier to just sit here and do nothing.

My sister wants me to go to Stark Industries with her and my niece to partake in bounce houses. I'm guessing with my leg on the mend and still being in rehab--going in said bounce house would be a no?

[Tatia]

Do you want to come with my family and I to Stark Industries? Bekah wants to take Natalia to all the bouncy and inflatable things.

So. I've got two or three, depending on stuff, tickets to the UCLA English graduation on Friday if anybody on the net needs a couple.

Or wants to see me being herded around like a sheep. I remember this process in high school and it wasn't fun and this time I'm not even making boring speeches, but... If anybody's obligated to show up and needs an in...

Hit me up?

We're not even going to talk about how I managed to get here and have no idea what's coming next, are we?

So, since School is actually out. I... Have nothing to do. And I think I should try and be... Well more outgoing and meet some people even if I get nervous. Are there any people patient enough to deal with someone with social anxiety enough to maybe go to a zoo or park?

Were I a father, I wouldn't mind getting this for Father's Day. Mostly because the name sounds so similar to my own. And I admit it looks like it would be fun to use.
