I know a lot of y'all post about weird dreams, but I didn't think I'd be part of a period drama. Dreamed I was in the late 1800s and I was the last in a long line of witches. Kind of a weird southern gothic thing but with me learnin' how to make healing tinctures and stuff.

Maybe I just ate somethin' and fell asleep with Lifetime on.

Up late, as always. Can't even be bothered to try to sleep for once. I'd like to put on a new record I've recently acquired, but Rufus is still recovering from all the finals and I'd hate to wake him (even with something as charming as Dorati conducting).

Might take the dog for a midnight stroll. Or watch a film.

Any fantastic old movies that anyone out there recommends?

Oh My God. Oh My God. It's been a little while now and I still can't believe how wonderful this is. I mean I'd hoped for it but was in the back of my head considering the worst and there is amazing Eowyn news that I'm just now mentioning here on the network for all of you! She's awake and everything is okay and amazing and AWESOME and some more wonderful stuff's happened since then too but full update later on if you would like. I have way too many other things to consider right now, but just...thank you so so much all of you who helped me get through this and I am so fucking glad it's all worked out!

It seems I have returned to this strange place I am beginning to slowly understand as my body remembers it, but not my mind, and I can accomplish tasks by memory more than by an understanding of their workings. While I am here, there is much to do, to improve on the works that the man I am in this lifetime has written, to ensure that Les Amis are well enough and do not have need of those things I cannot give them, but this time I find that I cannot.

Is railing at the unfairness of life considered childish when I have no recourse for it? Yes, perhaps. But I know not what else I might do now.

Ugh, I hate final season. Too much studying, not enough fun! I vote that when finals are over, all us college students should take a trip. I know we just had some people go on a camping trip, but I had a dream last night where my friends and I were getting ready to go camping, and it sounded really fun, so maybe we could do that?

Exams kind of ate me, but I exist still, I promise. ...Well, exams and looking through 19th century medicine. It's fascinating, how far we've come since then, you know? I mean, back in the 1830s they were still convinced that bodily humors and all that kind of stuff were a thing. Bleeding for your health and all that, you know?

We're all much better off now, of course -- we have penicillin, and antibiotics, and all sorts of other great advancements, but -- I dunno, it's certainly interesting to remember bits and pieces sometimes. Now that I'm convinced I'm probably not going insane.

So, I'm interested as to why I dreamt I was a fucking madam last night. Never been to London, and I quit hooking when I was twenty. Anybody know anything about dreams? Any of that airy-fairy crap about how this means I should try new things or I have a new person soon to be entering my life? I'm bored.

Is it common to find things from your dreams? I only ask because I've just had another round of strange and odd dreams, and in these dreams, I had rather a nice watch (you know the expensive, unnecessary sort), and as I was putting away my real watch tonight I found my dream watch.

It's quite cool. It tells the time in twenty-one different world capitals. But, uh, just wondering is this is sort of normal or not.

So, put in an offer on a very nice seeming condo. Not sure how all this home purchasing business works. Apparently I just wait with fingers crossed now and eventually someone will tell me how that's all going.

It had a very nice kitchen. Maybe I should learn how to really, properly cook.
