Usually I'm a grump about Christmas stuff being too early, but a whiskey advent calendar? I am all for this and totally behind it and ordering one now.

What's with guys who give you the flirt eyes and the cute smiles at work, but then never actually ask you out? Is it because asking someone out on a date while they're working is awkward or something? I totally would have said yes. He had dreamy eyes and cute tattoos and now I can't stop thinking about him. I mean, I work at a diner, it's not like Luke would fire me for flirting.

It's been a very interesting couple of days. I'm almost ready for another vacation. Good thing I get a week off for Thanksgiving. Now, if the universe could just stop conspiring against me for about two seconds I can actually get home to see my parents up in Oakland.

I'm finally out of the hospital! Husband and I are going to celebrate in the best way ever - watching Birdemic: Shock and Terror while stripping whenever someone says the word 'bird'.

(If you haven't played at home with your own partner of choice, you really should! It's pretty much the best movie ever.)
