Though I've been in the country a while, I haven't celebrated Thanksgiving. Have any of the other Brits participated in Thanksgiving? I don't know if I should cook. I've got four kids, and it's just the five of us. It's a lot of food, especially with Christmas dinner right around the corner.

Opinions? Should I give it a whirl since I live here now? I mean it sounds good.

Hospitals smell oogy. I know why, I just don't like it. And I don't have to stay for observation! It's just a concussion!

So, it's official. You're looking at (or, well, reading the words written from?) the new face of MakeMeNew Cosmetics. The paperwork is all signed, my new work visa is in place, and the photos will be out soon. That's the best I can say, "soon." They're going to be rolling out the snaps that we took for the Christmas line, and the New Years stuff was just fantastic. So pretty.

Now I need to go celebrate. I've been sitting on this news for weeks now! It's great to be able to finally spill it!

Last week's run was a success. With the help of my brother, I raised quite a bit for the children on the East Coast, and that money is now wending it's way toward helping them rebuild homes and schools. I couldn't have done it without him.

In other news, I finally got details on my next job. It's a minor pilot put together for a dragon story. I wonder if they will actually spend enough on the budget of the pilot for good effects? They already hired some of the best stunt people I know of, so that's promising.

That Skeeter woman is horrible.

And I don't know which is worse, what she says or that I actually read it. Ugh.

Two more shows to go before we are moving onto the Christmas schedule. No one will be surprised that it consists of the Nutcracker. I do get to dance Clara in that show. It has been a while since I have danced that role and never professionally until now. Shows are Sunday and an odd Monday night show if anyone is interested.

Which only reminds me that Christmas is 40-something days away; as someone reminded me the other day.
