I almost wish I'd had time to examine those things. Aside from the rampant breeding, or maybe because of they seemed rather interesting.

Bet it won't be the only time we see things like that, though. California attracts the crazy.

Okay so we know all about the dangers of assuming a woman is pregnant when she isn't. In fact, it's best not to ask a woman if she's pregnant unless you can actually see a baby emerging from her at that very moment.

But no one ever warned me about the equal danger of knowing a woman is pregnant and pointing said fact out to the brother-in-law of the woman in question. Apparently, it's especially bad when the woman is your boss, and the brother-in-law turns out to be the father, and the husband hasn't got a clue.

So, I lost my job today.

Congratulations to all the gymnasts that competed today. Beautiful competition and beautiful gymnastics.

Team Finals spoilers under cut )

Now I have to pack so I can go to bed. I have to be at the airport at 4am. Someone will have to fill me in on how the rest of the Olympic events turn out for the day.

Hello Valarnet. My name is Luna Lovegood. I was pointed here by a schoolmate. She said I might be able to contact some of my old schoolmates who might be able to help me find a few of my missing belongings. It's not a long list, but if anyone from OCSA has seen them, please let me know.

1. Pair of red sneakers
2. Box of sand
3. Book on Mysteries of the South
4. A shark tooth necklace
5. Unicorn hat

Thank you!

I think The Crown forgives me.

Of course, I've bought about six rounds of drinks.

But still, they forgive me!

I've got a mailbox full of fast food fliers and coupons for everything from car washes to tacos. I guess this is what passes for a 'welcome to the neighborhood' gift.

Hello California and thank you. I really could use a family sized three topping pizza for the price of 14.99 (delivery charges apply).

Today on the "Things Bo can't have" channel:

pictures of shoes! )

Unfortunately, they're also topping the list of "things Bo wants to have," after that particular purple jacket I've been saving up for that I have enough to order when its her creator gets back from London. The top pair would look so good with it, too!

(For once, this post has NOTHING to do with work. Admire my restraint.)

My name is Jubilation Lee. My parents were immigrants and when I was born here they were so happy with their life in this country that they named me Jubilation.

Everyone calls me Jubilee, I guess cause I'm always energetic and happy all the time. I learned the hard way that life is meant to be fun, not boring.

I never thought I'd see an Olypmic stadium, let alone standing on the podium. The opening ceremony was awesome, and the practice...

I've never worked harder for anything in my life. I mean that.

In 2006 I was training for the Worlds in 2007, and then Beijing in 2008. Some guys invaded our home and shot up the place. I was too badly hurt to train, let alone compete.

I thought this would be my only chance. I didn't place in 2010 or 2011 and I wasn't even sure I'd qualify for the US team this year. I knew if I didn't I'd probably be unable to qualify for Rio in four years. And now maybe I'm thinking I might still have it in me.

I pushed myself and I sweated and I hurt and now I'm here and I know my parents are watching me from heaven and smiling.

This is insulting and historically inaccurate on so many levels I don't know where to start.

But it's also really, really cute.
