Good shift at work? Try GREAT shift at work. I'm not supposed to LIKE it when we get a call, but I still like being able to do things, help people when they need it, try to save as much of their lives as we can after we get them out. I like it. I actually love it.

It's worth taking the risks, you know? Worth the asskicking I'm going to get later for not immediately stepping back when there were still family pets inside. I might have put myself in danger, and I might be getting in trouble, but I still got the hamsters out, and into those kids' hands, and THEY were happy, even if everybody else looked a little concerned. We couldn't go without TRYING, and anyway, it didn't collapse until I was mostly outside.

Worth being in trouble over? SO worth being in trouble over.

I'm just going to take this moment to lay a couple of rumors to rest here regarding the storyline involving my sexuality. I would like to maintain that I have never, ever, in my life stated a gender preference, though there are some of you I would not touch with a ten foot pole, particularly if you're family, under eighteen, really, really boring, or a friend.

At the moment, I am currently enjoying the hetero side of my sexuality, which I see as kind of on a spectrum. Sometimes you just like the person, which sounds horribly deep for me, so let's change that to body.

Just before the debates start, although it's been at least a week since I was on TV...

Also, on a totally unrelated note, I need to make a damn convincing apology for something major that I fucked up on a few years back. Anyone have ANY ideas there?

Ever have one of those days that just won't end?

I'm one of those people who doesn't have a Mom, but has two dads instead. Should I do something to say I appreciate and love you on Mother's Day anyway? And if I do that, do I do it for both of them or one, or what? I mean I always call them on weekends and things, but should I end up sending them something that'll show up late or like, dropping off an e-card or not? I'm kind of confused...
