I feel like I have a million things to get done, which I guess I actually do. I need to get down to the women's shelter for a lecture, I have another charity gala to plan, one to attend this weekend and a couple of cases on my desk. I think when all of this is done it might be time for a family vacation. Even the sort that like to stay busy need a break every once in a while.

Anyone have interesting vacation spots they wouldn't mind sharing?

Who knew adoption would be this hard? It doesn't help that we're on a book tour, but still. Did you know that they actually have a black market for babies? Yeah. It's completely illegal to exchange money for a human life, but they do it anyway because there are too many desperate parents out there who are willing to do it. I kind of get it though. It would be so much easier to just exchange money for a child instead of all the red tape Ben and I are having to go through. I just needed to vent. This is very, very frustrating.

Hey Varric, remember me? I had my birthday at your bar and my band and I played a couple of songs. Well, it's our guitarist's birthday and he wanted me to ask if you'd be willing to do something like that for us again? It's in a week so we can actually advertise this time and hopefully bring more people in to the bar.

Has anyone else with teenagers experienced this?

I just received a text from Medren, who was upstairs in the bathroom, informing me that we were out of toilet paper and he needed me to bring up a roll from the closet.

Uh..What? No, seriously, what?

What goes on in their little heads exactly? I don't get it.
