I've always had intense dreams probably from the drugs but that was...It felt real. Too real. I don't like it.

I didn't say anything on Halloween when I had the dream, because HALLOWEEN. But WHAT THE HELL DREAMS?!?

That was an intense dream and I hate it already. More than hate it. Like it's... no.

I got my two year chip.

This is it. This is the real deal.

Clean for life. I really don't want to go back to prison.

So yeah. Hi. I'm Luke, and I'm an addict. Cause that never goes away.

It's easy to forget how hard the holiday period can be on recovering addicts until you get a call at 2 am in the morning from a complete stranger because you're listed in the person's phone as their emergency contact/sponsor.

One trip to ER later and thankfully he's alive, but he needs to start his recovery journey all over again.

Going to be an uphill battle.

You know, there are days where I feel like I'd be better off sticking my leg into a trash compactor and waiting for it to devour me whole than speak to another person whose ex "spitefully" put their car in to be destroyed and wants it back.

Sorry dude, that was crunched three days ago. Take it up with your lawyer and leave us out of it.

Also, snow? Seriously? Global warming really is gonna just eradicate us by the end of the century or whatever.

I'm not sure how they manage it, but kids always seem to be so... sticky. The children in my class manage it between their parents dropping them off and the start of the school day, it's remarkable.

If anyone has time this weekend, the school I work with is having a Fall fete, it's on Saturday at 2 at Turtle Rock Elementary.

What're we doing for Thanksgiving this year?

The petri-dish I work in has finally made me succumb to the various illnesses attached to the sticky hands of small kids. I feel like I might be dying.

So, does anyone have any novel ways to get better quickly? I don't want to be sick over Halloween and these kinds of bugs always take it out of me.

I never really consider myself a physical person, like, ever. I mean I hated sports when I was younger, hard to play anything with the coke goggles I used to have to wear (thank fuck for contact lenses) but ever since moving out here I've found that running first thing in the morning actually helps to clear my head.

That and yoga.

It helps that the instructor's nice.
