Think I've sort of found a new hobby, been taking photos recently. Starting to get the hang of it I think. Landscapes are fun and all but I think people might be more interesting, anyone want to be a guinea pig and have a photoshoot at some places in town?

I got a motorcycle dog carrier for Bernie, he seemed to really love it, even got him some stylish goggles to protect his eyes.

I might spoil him too much, but he deserves it, trust me.


Only now he's seen a dog in a sidecar and he's not loving the carrier as much, because now he wants to be beside me to see everything and not my back.

I have a seperate music playlist for when the kids are listening. It's mostly the same music as I usually listen to, just with some things removed the girls are too young for. I guess I didn't think over the songs on my twin safe list too carefully, because I forgot a few lines in "Sugar, We're going Down" (because no, my taste in music hasn't changed since I was in high school). I was worried they were going to ask what it meant and start a conversation I didn't want to have without both Amycus and I there, but instead Laurel just asked what language the song was in.

Um, right. So I'm Harry, and was told to introduce myself on this thing. Hello? I like afternoon tea, a good book and more tea. Basically, bring me all your tea recommendations for Orange County? And maybe a good diner. I do like the occasional sweet.

I'm definitely counting it as a win even with all the conditions they're putting on it - my parents agreed to buy me a bike instead of a car. Frey's taking me to pick it out this weekend. I'm not sure which argument finally convinced them but I'm not going to question it too much.

We've already got one shop we're going to check out. Any other recommendations?

I woke up this morning to the page from the grimoire, like Elijah promised.

I really did not think Elijah was going to keep his word but he did. I know he’s the one they call the honorable one but in my dreams I’m just used to everyone lying to me. He came back with a spell, a spell of unknotting. He said it would require more control than I thought. It took several tries but eventually I did it. I don’t understand why I’m being taught to control magic that I’m going to lose.

I never thought I'd be in this position with my business but here we are - anybody want to dress up as a princess for children's birthday parties? I've got Ariel and Merida covered but I've been getting a lot of questions about others over the last few weeks. On top of more bookings than I can handle on my own once the new semester starts. If you're interested let me know and we can set up a time to chat and see if it'd be a good fit.

You know, I got a full eight hours last night and I still woke up fucking exhausted this morning, just because D in my dreams decided to keep me up all night with some sort of horrific adult sex ed class. I'm never going to sleep without nightmares again.

I almost forgot what a massive pain in my ass these dreams are.

I really should have been expecting Gran to do something like this the minute I told her I'd figured out what I wanted to do for a living out here. She can't afford to take on the payments if I fail When I got back from my shift today I found an envelope slid under the door with loan paperwork that she'd filled out and gotten approved as a cosigner for me to buy a food truck. So...guess I'm going to be giving my two weeks at the restaurant sooner than I was planning. I already emailed the manager and it shouldn't affect the application getting approved because I've proven that I'm staying in the area by working there for so long.

This is Bella. A friend I think? of Amycus rescued her and her puppies from a bad spot and they asked me to take her in once the puppies were weaned. I honestly was expecting her to take longer to get settled in with me but it’s nice that she has so quickly. And unlike a certain fluff monster I know and love and will still happily sit, Regulus - she is willing to share the loveseat with me when I’m watching TV.

She’s actually a lot calmer than I expected about being left alone for a few hours when I’m at work. As long as I take her for a walk and give her a cuddle and make sure her dishes are full before I leave. The only thing I’ve noticed that makes me worry is that she seems to have some type of nightmares sleeping by herself in the living room so I moved her bed into my room and that seems to help. And sometimes she’ll just get on the bed with me after I’m asleep unless I’ve brought somebody home with me

Away from the Network, I don't use the twins' names, ages, or anything to identify them online. That's a decision Amycus and I made a long time ago, because the girls' digital footprint should be entirely theirs when they're old enough to have them. Not something their friends can google when they're teenagers to find embarrassing stories about them later on.

So if I have to mention them at all, I call them Thing One and Thing Two. Before anyone says anything, the girls know this and they're okay with this, except that they disagree on who is one and who is two. Our animals, however? I've got their pictures and names. The dogs, the cat, and the horses.

I had a fan on twitter today ask me what species Thing One and Thing Two are, and I'm just at a loss of words on how to handle this. I finally said my kids, and apparently they now think I have pet goats?

There must be something in the water because I've jumped on the dream train. I hope it's just an over active imagination because I'm dreaming up some strange, yet strangely realistic stuff.

I'm considering putting together an additional summer reading list for the girls - any recommendations of children's books to put on there for them? Normally Regulus would be the one doing this but I'm trying to take some of the load off him to help with his stress.

I never realized there were so many hoops to go through to get an extra lock installed on the door of my flat.

So I finally made it to Hogwarts in the Dreams. And - I really wish my school here had been in a castle but you can’t have everything. They use a hat to sort everyone into their houses and I know that Snape wanted me in Slytherin because he was convinced that’s where he’d go but the hat shouted out Gryffindor when it was put on my head and I went over to that table. Part of me wishes that I’d been put in the same house as him because he was put in Slytherin - then I’d at least know someone. But I’ll make friends. I know I will.

I'm not really one for introductions. Or joining random networks. But here I am. Hi. I'm Sam. I like long walks, hiking really. And you know. Serving justice. I'm also on the market for a dog. My kid thinks it will help me not be so sad when he's with his mom and not with me. He argued his case, and made the lawyer in me proud. So. I guess I'm getting a dog.

It’s that time of year again - Laurel and Madison have put their countdown calendar up onto the fridge with how many days there are until the end of the school year. And I am honestly hoping that mum and dad will be willing to take them for a few weeks again this year so that Regulus doesn’t go completely insane.

I dreamed those green "orcs" started chopping down our trees. As I expected, we fell upon them with unmatched ferocity and pushed them from our forests.

They did not go quietly, and they fought well. I doubt that is the last we shall see of them.

I went to pick up my allergy meds from the drugstore today, and while I was waiting in line? All the songs on the muzak were songs that I loved when I was in high school. And then it hit me. I turn 27 next month. These songs are all ten years old now, or more.

Oh my god, I'm old. When did that happen?

I do not think my choice of "career" was the best one I could have made given my lack of patience for pretty much everyone and everything.

Taxi drivers do not get tips if they speak their mind.

And no tips means no extra side orders with my takeout and that always leaves me feeling hungry.

Have you ever had dreams end, but then end up with reruns, like a greatest hits show gone wrong? Had a shit night, then got to revisit my basement cell, my lover forgetting me, and my brother blaming me for leaving him when his 'best friend' asked me to do it. For the record, I was there. Thanks for all that. Maybe next time we can play Damon's favorites. I had hero hair once.

I finally made my way to the grocery store this morning and I saw something I really wish I hadn't seen. Who brings their pet to the store and then leaves it locked in the car with no windows open?! No living creature deserves that.

It's been a few months since anyone has tried to throw something through my windows. At least while I'm at the office. If they have when I'm at it hasn't gotten through. Should have gotten bullet proof windows a long time ago.

Our new promotion down at the shop comes with one free riding lesson, so anyone that ever wanted to learn to ride a motorcycle come on down.

So it occurred to me tonight as I was unpacking the last of my boxes - I've shared a placed with Andromeda for more years than not since we met at boarding school. I'm fairly certain if you add it all up I've actually lived with her for longer than I did with my parents.

I was in Autozone picking up some parts for a job and I literally had a man try to explain spark plugs to me.

For those of you not car savvy, that's a bit like explaining what a keyboard is to a computer geek.

I'm just... and he wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise, I was about ready to hit him!

So guess who has a job now? Me!!

Why are weekends so short...

Fun part of being able to shapeshift into a dog; Cuddle piles with actual dog, wife, and baby.

I can shapeshift into quite a few things now, but dog is my favorite!

Of course the one person in my dreams I hate more than myself, some blonde named Lucius Malfoy, is hosting the meeting for all of us to discuss our next move following the Headmaster’s death. And no before anyone asks I have no clue why I hate Lucius Malfoy so much there. And I have never met him here so I can’t even judge by that. I really just want to see the entire lot of us who have sworn to follow...Voldemort thrown in a bottomless pit.

You know what helps clear the head? A two hundred mile motorcycle ride.

I'm pleased to announce that I got my wand from my Dreams! I spent most of the day attempting to do dishes by magic, though I think I ended up with more broken plates than clean ones.

And I accidentally turned my favourite mug into a mouse. I managed to turn it back though. Mostly.

I went back to the gym. With all the OC weirdness, which was actually a lot of fun this go round, I need to get back into shape. I'm gonna have to push my knee a lot, but I've got to do it. It might be easier said than done. If anyone wants to train with me, come on and let's do it.

Peach pies are a thing. I may have made a couple.

This is equal parts hilarious, horrible, and makes me really really want some good Chinese food. Even if I doubt they’d make fun shaped dumplings for us this way.

I had those dreams you keep yammering on about.

So...today's grocery store trip was interesting. I wasn't trying to impress anyone so just went in my work out clothes to get what I needed and while I was putting the bags in my trunk this older man came up with his wife and started talking to me. It was innocent enough at first until he started talking about how much he'd always liked tiny blondes and would like to get to know me better. Before I could even think of a response to that his wife turned to look at him and went "Are you serious? She's our granddaughter's age and I'm standing right here!" before dragging him off into the store.

I'm not sure who to feel worse for - her having to live with him doing things like that or him when they got home.

One of these days I’m really going to need to learn to cook. Either that or learn to control myself a little better when I pop in places to grab a bite. Or ask to be seated way in the back where there’s little chance of entitled assholes being sat near me. This ass and his wife, who was probably just as bad as him, even though she didn’t say anything so I can’t be sure, came in and got sat at the table near mine and immediately started berating the poor waitress because she told them she’d be right with them while on her way to drop off another tables orders. Then when she did come to give them their menus and take their orders, he snapped at her that they didn’t need the menu because they already knew what they wanted - they were going to eat it and go. After she took his order he told her they were in a hurry because they were going to be late to their church service so needed it brought out right away and then he proceeded to throw a fit loud enough to get everyone in the places attention when she told him there were tickets ahead of his in the back but she’d bring his order out as soon as it was ready.

I couldn’t help myself. I just had to ask why if they were that short on time that he couldn’t wait his turn - they hadn’t picked a less busy place to eat? You could see from the parking lot that the place was packed! And even if he somehow missed all the cars out there there is no possible way he could have missed every table and the counter full.

I'm happy to announce that Fangtasia should be opening at the end of July. When I first moved here I had hoped that our new club would be open by now, but I hadn't expected it to take so long to find the perfect location. And yes, for anyone who saw the post about my dreams, I decided to use the name of my bar in my dreams for this one as well. I thought it sounded interesting.

It's true what they say. California truly is the sunny state. I'm not sure if I've ever seen so long without rain.

I suppose I should introduce myself. My names James, and I'm one of California's newest residences. So, what do you all do for fun around here?

Where is this year going? Like seriously, how it is almost the end of June already?

I however have the whole weekend off and am heading to San Fran Pride celebrations with my boyfriend, my brother, my brother-in-law and my cousin. We're going to have the best time!

Pay close attention because this is the only time I’m going to say this - Eric was right. I should never have said anything about hoping I don’t dream about being an animal. Because what did my Dream turn out to be? My shapeshifting into a dog. And apparently it’s not the only thing I can turn into in the dreams - if what my parents told me there’s true, I can turn into any animal. It just has to be the last thing I see before I shift.
