I swear, it's like a completely different language is being spoken out here. How can there be so many linguistic changes from one coast line city to the next? I just moved from San Fran, not from Lebanon. I should be able to make people out.

I really hope it's the pot doing this to their brains.

First day off in a few days and I don't even know that to do with myself.

Steve was a darling, had a bath ready for me when I got home late last night, had ordered out for dinner. I just fell sleep while on the couch after dinner and he carried me to our bed.

Now I just want to lay here all day while I hear him working on something in the house.


I'm a horrible wife.

I finally think I understand why you made the move out here Bucky. The weather out here is definitely different than New York. It is kind of strange to think that I won't have to experience another New York winter this year.

To everyone else, I'm Steve Rogers. I'm a recent arrival and I have brought my beautiful wife, Dr. Peggy Carter, with me. I look forward to meeting you all.

I have to say, with the current state of, well everything, I'm honestly shocked that my work hasn't decided to permanently relocate me to along the border.

Not that I'm necessarily complaining. I'm just shocked it hasn't even come up with the constant back and forth I've been doing for the past...I don't even know anymore.

It's a bit odd to not be preparing to go into work tomorrow. I'm using this week to work from home since my due date is quickly approaching and by that I mean next Monday. I'll be available phone and computer if I'm truly needed, but otherwise I'll probably be half-assing it a bit.

I'm so ready for little Rogers to show up already. My parents arrive tomorrow and I've got so much going on, but everything is prepared. Fingers crossed everything goes well.

I will never cease to be dumbstruck on the things this new administration puts into place. Banning some news media from a press conference? Sigh. I really feel like I should be a hermit now.

My mum has decided that she wants to help out with any baby showers I may have, which means none are going to take place until they come to visit. I also don't want to put up my parents in our place for a long period of time. Although, I guess they could stay with my Aunt and everything would be fine because my mum will just end up breathing down my neck the whole time.

I can't believe January is almost over. March can't come soon enough. I'm also getting real sick of the lack of sleep I'm getting - this child is a tiny gymnast.

30 weeks today, which means this pregnancy is so close to being over. I'm thrilled. Don't get me wrong, it's not completely horrible, but I can't wait to be back to a normal size and not wobbling around every where.

And since this slipped my brain thanks to the baby - I wanted to let everyone know that Steve and I are engaged. Nothing has really been planned yet due to the pregnancy, but you never know what could happen when I'm sitting around on maternity leave or if I get stuck on bed rest. But it's at least a good start to a new year that will be full of life changes.

Today might have been my weirdest craving. None of them have been this bad - I just had to have this.

It was ice cream with kettle chips and Frank's Red Hot. I don't even like Red Hot. What the hell is this baby doing to me?

Wow. I can't believe today marks 20 weeks and the halfway point through my pregnancy. That's insane to me.

But on the plus side, we figured out that we are having a little GIRL.

Baby Freedom will have her father wrapped around her finger in no time and learn to kick arse like her mum. I'm just thrilled to know because my parents have been bothering me for ages wanting to know and it makes it easier to buy things. Plus, ya know, horrible with surprises.

I can't believe my baby girl is one year old today.

Bloody hell I need a nap.

I must have a serious case of the Mondays, but I feel a bit run down today. Shouldn't be this annoying to get back into the work groove after a vacation and short work week. Maybe my body is revolting and wants to stay on London time.

No one judge me if I skip a meeting or two. I should add nap rooms to list of things to change about this place.

It's a little unnvering to wake up from a Dream while on a plane. I was hoping that it wouldn't affect me while we were away from the OC, but it must have sensed I was going back to the motherland. It was a bit of a flashback to my Dream!self's past and surprise! I have a brother in that world. I had absolutely no idea. I was also engaged to a bloke named Fred and ready to give up my potential career as a code-breaker for him. Thankfully some sense came back to me and I called off the wedding and took the job after my brother passed away while in action in the war. Yeah - way to make me wake up crying a little.

Anyway! New York was brilliant and I loved everything about it. I can see why I moved here in my Dreams. The fireworks were a lot of fun even though I was one of the few to not sing along to anything (oops). Steve and I are off to London now, so if you have any requests for goodies to bring home let me know. I've attached a couple photos to be nice.

It is with a bit of exhausted fanfare that I proudly announce the arrival of our half-English, half-Yank spawn - Lina gave birth to our daughter today (without the need of drugs, mind you, whereas I certainly almost fainted a few times). Amelia Romany Wisdom is her name, and she's just a little over five pounds and a couple weeks early but apparently she was eager to make her grand debut and join all the oddness around here.

They're both doing well, though Amelia will probably have to stay a few days before we can bring her home. Our families are all quite happy too, but that could be due to the vodka my future father-in-law brought with him. Visitors are certainly welcome if you're so inclined.

I cannot with the Royal Family - they are adorable. They let Prince George stay up 15 minutes past his bedtime so that he could meet President Obama. IN HIS BATHROBE. How adorable!! Enjoy your dose of cuteness for the day with a picture under the cut.

Well, well, well. I have to say I was quite surprised to have a couple dreams last night. It's been quite a while and I was even more surprised that it was a continuation of my adventures in the 1940's. Sounds like Howard Stark has decided to move to California (hilarious) and I get to make my way here to LA to assist with a case. There was a load of weird things happening and my dream!self managed to get her flirt on while investigating.

I'm not ashamed to say that I'm excited to see what's going to happen.

Many thanks to the conniving masterminds behind that surprise shower (and Zee for sacrificing her abode!), and many thanks for the abundance of meat I've only seen in medieval feasts in dreamland. I've been spending every waking moment of free time organizing the shit out of the nursery. And laughing at my own hormonal OCD. And then crying because the cat knocked everything over.

On another note, I flipped through the stinky old books I got from the dreamfairy, and there's a sealing spell that protects property against magical and natural fire. Well, alright, it's more of a ritual because it's tedious and time consuming, but around here a little extra insurance around these parts against the weird elements doesn't hurt.

If anyone wants the steps/ingredients, let me know. I'll send copies. I'll be setting it up for our own place for, uh, the obvious reasons. I can't remember what number we're on when it comes to TV replacements but it's pretty freakin' astounding how much money goes to preparing the shit we've broken.

I fell asleep on the sofa, and woke up after something quite...startling. I'm still not entirely sure what to make of it.

I can't believe the holidays are officially over. It was quite lovely to have my parents come out here to visit. I just left them at the airport for their flight back across the pond a couple hours ago. They truly loved seeing Sharon's parents and little Viv because they just couldn't stop talking about it. They also got to meet Steve Unfortunately it's now time to get back to work and work off the stone I probably put on with all the delicious goodies that everyone was making the last couple weeks.

May have to think about going to a happy hour tomorrow after work. Any recommendations and who wants to join?

Happy Veteran's Day to all members of the military. You all are amazing and I know your country appreciates everything that you have done for them. It's certainly no different for the British Military. This is also a day to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice and those that are POW and MIA.

On a side note, I really love how into honor your Veterans this country is because there is seriously no shortage of people offering things to military members. Even small things like a free cup of coffee can make someone's day better.

I have to admit that I do enjoy the feeling of going back in time with my dreams. Still in the 40's, but this time I've teamed up with the Howling Commandos once again. I've missed seeing those boys in my dreams and I really had the chance to prove myself to the prat that is James Thompson.

Off to Russia/Poland we went and to an abandoned school. The thing is that they were certainly brainwashing young women - one tried to kill us. We managed to escape and brought home a man that was being held in the prison there. This isn't going to end well.

I don't post a lot on here, but Lina is was my girlfriend. She stopped the chaos and the storm from continuing but she didn't make it through.

I'll be putting together a memorial service for her, for next weekend. It'll be at [name of Indian restaurant] she would have wanted loads of food-- It's where we had our first date--. I'm renting it out for the whole day. If you knew her or were friends with her feel free to drop by. In lieu of flowers and things, she wanted any monetary contributions to go to the OC's magic guild.

I'm going to get in some much trouble in these dreams. While I am definitely kicking ass and taking names I'm also doing this double agent thing. I know it's going to come and bite me in the ass. It doesn't help that I've been recruited to do this by a dear friend, whom I wish I could punch in the nose because of it. Sorry Tony, your father is a prat some days.

I must say though that I managed to make a couple of really good friends and discover a lot of crazy inventions. The item I almost wish was real in this world is a vial of Steve Roger's blood, but this world doesn't need the ability to potentially create another Super Soldier.

I really need a vacation. Someone make me go on vacation before my cousin's baby arrives.

So I owe you a tour sometime. I hear the feds aren't happy.

I have to admit that dreaming again is quite interesting. It's been a while since my last one and that one wasn't very happy, so I'm quite pleased to see my dream self enjoying her life. I mean, there's still sadness in there, but also so many things that she would never have done before. Brooklyn, NY has made an impact on her and she is slowly showing the male dominated world she works in that she's a force to be reckoned with. The 1940's is definitely a hard time for someone like her.

But on a more fun note, my cousin's baby shower is this weekend and I'm incredibly excited. I still can't believe there's going to be a new member of our family. This might even be cause for my parents to fly in when the baby gets here.

Well...today is my birthday and I've had to dodge calls from my parents since I am still of the male persuasion. I texted them to tell them that I was too busy to talk, but I'd get back to them as soon as I could.

Can this thing just be over? Not that my current body is horrible or anything, but I am so ready to be back in my body. And I think I may have to take a long vacation after all this over because I've been working from home while this is going on. At least I can look forward to that and maybe I'll convince Sharon to call my family back for me and pretend to be British.

Well, even if I'm still uncertain on what to make about the dreams and what I've seen so far here, it's nice to know that in them I still excel at school and graduate early. And I no longer have a nemesis, that's always nice. Not quite sure what to do with the items that have shown up, but I suppose I can figure that out later.

In honour of it being International Women's Day (not that there ever really needs to be a reason), I'd like to just say to all the women on this network.

You are all absolutely brilliant and gorgeous.

I wish there was a reason behind these dreams. Or at least someone we could blame. I'd love to give them my grocery bills for all the ice cream I ate after a quite depressing dream.

It's hard to feel the loss for someone that you've never actually known.

At least I always know work will keep me busy.

I must say that it's been a while since I've done a work Secret Santa, but I'm highly amused by all of this. I've been thinking a lot about what to get my person, which is great for keeping my mind off packing and buying gifts for my family. I'm so ready to hop on the plane and go back home though, but I'm also a little nervous about it being delayed with all this snow. Fingers crossed it clears up next week.

Happy Veteran's Day/Armistice Day/Rememberance Day. Thank you to every single person who has worked with the military in any form. I still can't believe it's been 100 years since the start of WWI.

My mum was sweet enough to send me a poppy to wear for the past few days and a sweet letter thanking me for my service. I wish I was home so I could see the beautiful poppy installation at the Tower of London. The pictures are breathtaking.

So, if you see someone out and about in military uniform today, please tell them thank you. I promise it will brighten their entire day.

Living here is making me forget about the holidays I used to celebrate at home. It took me until right this moment to realize tomorrow is the Fifth of November! I know Americans don't celebrate Guy Fawkes Night, but I really want to set off some fireworks and just bask in the glow of being British.

So, these nuns are suing a strip club that they have as a neighbor. I normally wouldn't care, but I'm just greatly amused by the whole idea. It makes sense that they're upset about it being near them, but I'm going to secretly think that one of them tried to get a job there and was denied.

I didn't realize that there were zoning laws about places of worship and "adult" facilities. I also didn't realize nuns lived in suburban areas - most movies you see make it seem like they hang out in the middle of the countryside.

This is where I'm supposed to help find a date for my excellent friend, Sharon. Except it looks like she's found a date.

Regardless, Sharon is a wonderful woman. She's got a lot of things to give to someone. And she's hot. She's a lot of fun to be around. She's got a sense of humor, and she's not shy. Really she's kind of perfect. Makes me wish I was kind of gay.
