Fuck the Foo FU Fighters for trying to assassinate Eliot. Fuck Eliot for knocking up Fen. And double fuck Eliot and the Patriarchy. I'm High Fucking Queen, but apparently the only decisions that matter are Eliot's. We're supposed to be ruling Fillory together.

The only thing that makes this dream better is that when I woke up, the outfits I was wearing, in the dream, were in my closet. Honest to God, Fillory fashion is some of the highest fashion I have ever seen.

So I had another fun dream about the Shadowhunter Academy last night. A couple of us were tasked with finding a rogue vampire so of course a couple of the others started asking me about being a vampire, but I didn't remember any of that since my memories still hadn't come back about that time. They didn't believe me at first. Honestly, some of those Shadowhunters are dicks. Anyway, the vampire was in Brooklyn, so we were dispatched and when we found her, she begged me to let her go cause she recognized me of course. I hesitated and almost got both me and Jon killed, but Isabelle showed up but someone showed up and killed the vampire and since Jon had gotten knocked out, he thought I'd done it when he came to. Once we were back at the Academy I basically got in an argument about Downworlders and the way Shadowhunters treat them, with some of the kids.

In the end, Catarina told me a story, where the moral was basically about me choosing my own path and I started to remember more about Clary cause she came to see me and talked to me about some stuff and so yeah, it's fun going to school with a bunch of elitist assholes. I just hope that if I make it through all this training and become a Shadowhunter, maybe I can help change things.

In more fun news, some Gen 5 Pokemon were released in PokemonGo today and I've already caught four of them plus I caught a shiny version of an older Pokemon that I've been searching for forever! Yes, I know, all of that is incredibly nerdy, but it's what I like to do.

It hadn’t occurred to me until I woke up this morning that no magic meant that I couldn’t portal to New York to see Alexander for his birthday. He’s there helping his father with something for awhile and we had planned on me coming there for the day, but seeing as I’m completely human at the moment we had to settle for Skype. It definitely wasn’t the same, but once I have my magic back I’ll be going out there to see him so this had better not last too much longer.

It took me a few minutes to realize that the grumpy old man wearing a hoodie on the couch was actually our cat Pan. I've had conversations with Zelda and the bunnies over the last two days but Pan has been keeping to the second bedroom since I had the conversation with George about whether or not she likes the current hutch she and her sisters share. Which is honestly the weirdest conversation I've ever had with someone who looks like a 6 year old. (The answer is yes she likes it but it is a little cramped at times when she wants to stretch out). I think Pan has been avoiding me though.

That or making up his list of demands.

So apparently Porgy Porg has decided that the rule about not messing with Mina's transformation wand only means he should't try to play with it. It couldn't possibly mean don't move it from her room to mine! I really wish I knew why he decided that it should go under my pillow though.

I just saw a suggestion on facebook to add your own hair to your potted plants as free plant food. And you know, even if I've probably accidently killed every plant I've ever touched, I'm good. If it comes down to it, I'll just get a fabric tree or something, because I've seen this movie. Today you feed your plant hair, next week you've got a venus flytrap yelling "feed me Seymore". And I just don't need to deal with that.

Dreaming of being little kids with Alec again, was kinda of a nice stroll down memory lane. Minus the training we were doing in the dreams.

I've decided I'm going to open a cafe, mainly focus on desserts. So my Sous-Chef Max and I are going to go look at a few places to see if I want to lease it.

I have seen this a few times now, and I am somewhat confused.

I wish to preface this with saying that I am not attempting to lessen anyone's courage. However, I feel like this may be a part of American culture that I am somehow not understanding.

Are there cultural reasons behind the announcements of sexual preference? I understand that in this country this month is used to champion the sexual spectrum and those across it who have faced prejudice, I took a gender studies course last year and we discussed Stonewall, I am aware of the ramifications there.

What I am struggling with is the reasons behind these things. Can anyone explain them? Is there such a way to do that?

I keep having the same recurring dreams. Not DREAM dreams, just regular neurotic dreams. I have no idea how the actual "speak now or forever hold your peace" thing goes if someone actually objects to a wedding in real life, but that's the part I keep dreaming about. It's always someone who wasn't invited to the wedding. Sometimes it's my parents, sometimes it's Am's deadbeat ex, and a couple of times it's been the girl I had a play wedding with in kindergarten when 1. I had no idea I was gay yet and 2. I was five, and there's no way that was legally binding.

All of them are uninvited and, so, really, they have no say.

I guess, really, I'm just nervous they're going to show up anyway, and try to make a scene. My parents or his ex, I mean. I just need reassurance there really isn't anything they can do if they try.

It's so good to be with my family again.

Seems I'm a lucky one where I have just the one dream. Though, I doubt that's true. Call it a gut feeling.

I’m really wishing I had moved into the Institute sooner. Not having to pay rent is amazing. And I’m pretty sure my bedroom here is bigger than the one at my old place. The bed is definitely bigger.

Well new one for me - I got told not to dictate by one of my students today after class. They offered to stay after to help clean up - which I don’t need since after my last class I do my personal training and then clean up - but they insisted and I...just wanted to get them out so decided to just let them help to get them out of there. When I asked them to take out one of the bags when they finished what they were doing they got pissed and told me not to dictate to them.

So is this some California thing that I’m not getting because I grew up in New York?

Knowing I’ll probably be risking Aunt Maryse’s anger again, I’m missing Christmas with the family here. I’m going to see my parents in New York, introduce them to my boyfriend. Anybody want me to bring them anything? And you’re all getting your Christmas presents late so I can see you open them.

So, my husband's mother did not find my suggestion that I use magic to make Thanksgiving dinner to be helpful. I mean, I don't see how it wouldn't be helpful. It would take less time and be less of a mess. Who wouldn't want that? At the same time, I can understand why she wouldn't have been too keen on the idea. I suppose using magic to do the whole thing would take something away from it.

Guess I can't use magic for everything.

I’d started to convince myself that the one I’d had was just a fluke, but no such luck. At least this one gave me a little more context of why I was at that club with my cousins. We were apparently after a demon there and working as a team. We had a boy tied to a pillar in a back room with piano wire while I interrogate him, trying to find out information about if there are any other demons working with him. And then he tries to get us to spare him by offering up information on some dude named Valentine, who I’m guessing was trouble there but is dead now,so really demon boy needs to get some better information if he’s going to try to bargain with us for his life.

Izzy wants me to kill the demon because it’s not going to give us any information, but just as I’m about to strike with my blade we get interrupted because there’s some girl watching us. I have no clue how none of us noticed she was in there but when she does make herself known I drop the knife. Which is when I woke up to find it by the bed this morning, and first thing I did was check to make sure it wasn’t damaged. It’s actually a pretty cool knife - looks like it’s made of some type of crystal and yeah it’s sharp as hell, which I learned the hard way. No damage from being dropped there. Something in me is telling me it’s called a seraph blade but I have no clue where that’s coming from.

Also, I think my shiny luck in Pokemon Go is changing. I've caught three in the last three days.

After working on the club, Pandemonium, the grand opening will on Halloween Night!

Today is my husband's birthday! In one of my earlier dreams, when we had just started dating there, I was wracking my brain trying to figure out the very best gift to get him. In the end, I realized that the perfect gift for him was to make sure Isabelle was always safe. So I put a spell on her whip to give it a little extra kick.

Here, I'm always doing things to spoil Alec, so it's especially hard to figure out the perfect gift for birthdays.

Well, Magnus and I are moved into our new place which, also, happens to be above a gay club that we, now, own.

While we are still decorating and such, it's nice to have a place that is 100% ours, again. No offense, Izzy.

The club is temporarily closed but we'll have a grand reopening, since it's under new management. Details, soon to come.

Holy shit, apparently it's been a long fucking while since the last time I posted on this thing.

But after spending an afternoon in jail, I'm pretty sure I needta start coming up with better ways to spend my time when this place isn't deciding to throw a fit.

I love experimenting with different flavors and baking styles. I've decided that Royal Icing is the most fun to play with, though. Really gives me a chance to explore my artistic side.

Fae can eat my ass.

I get attacked by this big giant wolf thing so I kill it. The pelt was huge so I skin it and sell it to this hot mercenary woman.

But that night another big animal bursts into my shitty house, only he's some big Fae High Lord or something, because the big wolf turned out to be another Fae. And it was go back with him across the Wall or stay there and get slaughtered in front of my family. A life for a life. So I chose to go.

When we got there, his... second in command I guess? Was a lot nicer. Still an asshole so that's not much of an improvement. They all wore masks too. Some kind of enchantment or curse. I expected like a... cell, but I was given a gilded cage really nice room with the most amazing bed I've ever seen.

No one tells me anything, but there's this fairy. Some kind of evil flesh eating creature that if you trap it will tell you whatever you want to know. So I went out and trapped it. It wasn't too helpful but it did let me in on a few secrets. Such as Tamlin being the High Lord of the Spring Court.

Tamlin was pissed, but he'd made sure my family was safe, so I'll give him points for that. And he was teaching me to read, and he gave me paint. So much paint...I'm getting vaguely Beauty and the Beast vibes and he's pretty hot when he's not in a monster form.

They have this Spring Festival, too. I wasn't allowed to go so I went anyway, and nearly got dragged off by three evil Fae from another Court, only for the... most beautiful man I've ever seen to come to my rescue.

You guessed it. Also an asshole.

And that's when I woke up.

Fuck the Fae.

According to my bestie it's International Kissing Day today so if you pop on down to Baxter's Bakery you can get yourself a themed sugar cookie! What better way to sweeten a kiss? :D

I may have picked up Pokemon Go again now that they've added in a bunch of new features. And it may have rekindled my obsession with the game. I've got Pokeball shaped cookies at the bakery, and not only are we a gym, but there are two pokestops across the street that you can reach from the lobby.

All Pokemon trainers are welcome, though just know that if you take over the Baxter Bakery gym, it'll be blue again within the hour. ;)

Where is this year going? Like seriously, how it is almost the end of June already?

I however have the whole weekend off and am heading to San Fran Pride celebrations with my boyfriend, my brother, my brother-in-law and my cousin. We're going to have the best time!

Anybody else heading that way or doing anything fun this weekend?

It’s weird to wake up in my “old” room. It’s been a while since I have stayed at the Institute but it’s just a temporary home.

However, the California weather is definitely better than the New York weather, so it’s nice to be back.

So I've gotten used to waking up floating above my bed every now and then. It almost doesn't even phase me anymore. I'm just worried that Alex will come into my room one morning and find me floating in the air. I'm not sure how I'd explain any of this to her.

Anyway, I just woke up from a new dream where I had a doppelgänger who was the exact opposite of me. She was created by the head of Lord Technologies, Maxwell Lord to believe that Supergirl was evil. So where I have freeze breath, she basically breathed fire and had ice vision where I have heat vision. I tried to reason with her when it was clear that we were more or less evenly matched until the DEO showed up. They tried using green Kryptonite on her, but it had the opposite effect than it would on me. The next time we faced off they used blue Kryptonite on her and that weakened her where we could take her into custody.

During all of this, I tried to go on a date with Cat's son, Adam, but in the end, I decided that I couldn't have a normal life and relationship while also being Supergirl, because James had already been put in danger with Bizarro, which was what we called my doppelgänger so how could I potentially put someone else in danger if my secret identity was found out? Of course when I talked to Cat, the reason I gave, for dumping her son was that I was focusing on work instead of having a life.

And to make matters even worse, when I went home I got attacked by something with tendrils.

I can only imagine what's going to happen there.

So, what? You come here to talk about your little dreams, commiserate about how awful your lives are.

Ugh, Taxes. Not my favorite time of year. My accountant retired last year, and I should have found a new EA at the time, but I foolishly thought that I could handle it all myself! Laughworthy.

Does anyone have a trustworthy accountant or EA on the books that they might recommend?

Anyone else ever get the urge to bake in the middle of the night? I suddenly want to make cupcakes or muffins or something. My sister thinks I'm crazy.

I'm looking for inspiration, anybody have anything they'd like to see in cookie form? Like an object or an animal or something? I need a challenge!

It's just not a Friday night until I'm hit on by at least two men, while I'm out, one of which can't listen when I say I'm not interested.


Which results in me breaking his hand and arm then his buddies nose and talking my way out of being arrested.for assault.

Today is World Ballet Day! It's been the best day ever! We've had workshops, talks with ballet choreographers and next Friday we get to do a showcase of work that we've been developing over the past few weeks for the speakers! I love my work so much!

We got it. Baxter Bakery is going to be on a Cookie War Competition show! In early December you'll get to see Baxter Bakery go head to head with other very skilled bakers and bakeries in a Christmas Cookie Making Competition!! It'll be on the Food Network. More details to follow!

I just watched a video of a guy who ate a cactus. Like one of those small ones that looks fuzzy, but really isn't. I don't even understand why someone would do that. I mean, yeah, he obviously did it to try and get likes, but come on. I'm a vampire and drink blood and I wouldn't even eat a cactus.

I would appreciate any positive thoughts and crossed fingers you can send my way. I have applied for something that I would love to get, but I can't say anything until I know for sure! Should be soon, though.
