Get back to my body just in time to have another dream. Everyone was going on a rescue mission to go save Crixus from dying and my half-dead ass wanted to go too note: kissing me is a really good method to convince me to do something, apparently. They brought back Oenomaeus and Gannicus with them, there was some drama, and Chadara ended up dead. I understand why and if she hasn't been killed she would have gotten everyone (including me) killed instead, but...still. She was something like a friend. Still, Mira and Naevia are continuing to cement my feelings on why you shouldn't fuck with women.

And apparently Spartacus has opened up a home for wayward Germans. They're fun when they aren't trying to actively kill us. I'd appreciate if my dreams could stop with the slicing off of things though.

I guess sneaking out of the Underworld is a thing? Apparently. Only it's 66 or 67 years in the future now.

Also I've never been so happy to have my own body. No offense, Stiles.

There's a bird that's apparently built it's nest right outside my window. Normally that wouldn't be a problem, I love animals. I'd love to watch their chicks(?) hatch when it comes time. However, it's two am. And this bird has been singing for the past hour.

I have work in the morning, I just want to sleep.

I had to ban one of my students parents from my classroom as a parent helper. Every instruction I give she undermines, telling her son that he doesn't have to follow it, that he doesn't have to move to the new activity when I say it's time. I can't teach that way and when I tried to talk to her about it she told me that she didn't care what I said, she'd raise her son however she liked and if he didn't want to quit drawing to work on his writing with the rest of the class he didn't have to. And of course when the rest of my little ones noticed that he wasn't changing they didn't want to change either. I try to be flexible but that wasn't flexible - that was chaos.

Does anyone else think that the Lays commercials with the Potato Heads are just plain creepy? Or is it just me?

I wish I could still think that these dreams were the result of something I ate before bed. At least I didn't have to get up and go to work after it - it wasn't bad just unsettling. Morgana dreamt that some woman was a threat to Arthur's life and then we saw him ride out of Camelot with her. Why does he have to be in my dreams And of course Morgana decided that instead of talking to Uther about what she'd dreamt she would have to stop it from coming true herself.

So Audrey and I are happy to announce that we are expecting another baby! He or she is due in September and we're ridiculously excited. As is Ben about becoming a big brother.

I found myself continuing to watch Disney Jr. after I laid the twins down for their nap.

I don't even know why

Today seemed like as good a time as any to start my students on their new project - a little flower garden inside our classroom. The kids seem excited about it but that could have been due more to the fact that I gave them free reign to draw whatever design they wanted on their planters. I was a little concerned that the recent weather issues might have affected my little ones but it doesn't seem to have. Their designs were all flowers and bears and I think what was supposed to be a horse.

So, I came to work yesterday, and this was sitting in the back, like it just belonged there. I have no idea what it is, why it's in the library, or which of my coworkers brought it. It was still there when we locked up, and no we don't display art or anything. So it's not that. Blame it on watching too many horror movies, but I'm convinced someone got tired of it, or whatever's living in it, haunting their house and decided to pass on the joy to us.

Has anybody else noticed the weird fog outside today? I'm just thinking about the last time we had fog like this and I'm suddenly even happier that it's Saturday and I didn't have to go to work.

I watched a little bit of kids tv with Ben this morning and it's awful these days. So dumbed down and just terrible storylines, I've decided I need to show him cartoons from the good old days when his dad was a kid :)

I had another one of those dreams. It's been a couple months and I kinda thought that maybe they passed me over. I was kind of hoping they did.

Decided to go to one of the local shelters today and get a dog. Batchelor life is ls lonely, even when you're running two businesses.

This is my new little buddy, Odysseus. Can you believe somebody abandoned this little guy?

Nothing beats insomnia like chamomile. I can't put my finger on why I can't sleep, though! It's just this restless feeling that I have. Do you ever get that way?

I think the first week back from winter break was actually more draining than the first week of the school year. My students did not want to settle down and learn anything. I should probably be relieved that the principal didn't come in to do my evaluation.

Hopefully this week will be easier, everyone will be used to the routine again.

I think Clair De Lune is one of my favorite songs ever. I just put Ben down for a nap and played it on the little cd player we keep in his nursery... he went straight to sleep. I was so relaxed I sat in the rocking chair and just listened the whole way through... it was beautiful.

Well I once again have a reason to drag my old warm jumpers out of the attic. You can always rely on the OC to give us the wintery feeling though this year it's earlier I'm sure.

I saw a rather nice movie over the weekend. It was an older one called It's A Wonderful Life. I had never seen it before but it was enjoyable.

I have to say the thing I really dislike most about Thanksgiving is probably going back to work Monday and having to dodge all of the questions about 'Did you enjoy getting to go see your family?' I know for most people it's just small talk, but for some of us it's just... every bit the wrong question at the wrong time.

Second runner up, my normally quiet library is going to be a madzone for the next few weeks when everyone suddenly remembers they have exams coming up and deadlines they forgot about entirely.

So, anyone have any particularly exciting holiday plans? Mine unfortunately are limited to dancing and working, but I plan on squeezing in some Christmas shopping this weekend. I'm not brave enough for Black Friday.

Is it too early to start Christmas shopping?

Last year I completely forgot and going to the stores two days before was the worst experience imaginable. And Black Friday is insane, but I feel like I should try to get a head start this time.

I'm thinking of organizing a toy drive for Christmas this year.

Anywhere else I'd be a bit hesitant to ask this question but it feels oddly appropriate on here - in the Dreams, does anyone else dream of their friends having abilities that they don't here? Assuming you know the same people here and in them of course.

Today, in my first period shop class, a boy asked me out.

He, then, proceeded to look over my work for class and said that I was pretty good..."for a girl." I rolled my eyes and without a word continued o my work.

Why are boys so dumb? At least, my teacher has the common sense to say that I have done some of the best work he's ever seen. Not "best work for a girl," but best work. Period. I feel that this kind of work will warrant many comments like that and I wish it wasn't this way. However, I'm ready to prove everyone of what I am capable of.

If you ever find something called Cat Cafe do not be tempted. The food is likely poisoned or cursed. It does not mean "cute" cats.

Hello, everyone my name is Christie McCawley, and I'm new to this network but not to the area. Hopefully your Tuesday isn't that bad, or at least better than Monday. I'm hoping that mine is better, since it was one of those days when Murphy's Law reared its ugly head. It's okay, I'm trying to go at today with a positive attitude and if that doesn't help I'm going to curl up in bed once it's over with and watch puppy videos.

Halloween costumes and candy in the stores already is one thing but could we get past that holiday before networks start advertising their Christmas movies? Or at the very least through the month of September?

No one should ever say life in Camelot was boring if my dreams are anything to go by. I had one last night where my best friend fell ill suddenly only to be cured by some man named Edwin who simply happened to be in Camelot and claimed to have a way to cure anything. He did something to her, I'm as sure of that now as I was in the dream when I talked to Gaius before he left. Just thinking about him even now that I'm awake is making my skin crawl

One good thing did come of it, other than Morgana recovering I mean - Gaius, the court physician and man who's taken care of everyone my entire life and might as well be family I think, was made a free man of Camelot by the king.

It's a bit hard to believe that the new school year is going to start tomorrow. It feels like just a couple of weeks ago that I was finishing up my first year teaching.

Well, I've got three new squirrel roommates. We're all sitting on beanbags, watching Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, crying. Also eating almond butter.

I thought my dreams were over, but, at the very least, I'm still getting gifts from them. The rest of my armor is here. I'm like a proper knight now. I guess I'll have to find somewhere to display it. It doesn't seem like the sort of thing you bury in the back of a closet.

Went outside and found Tater Tot sitting on the back patio, chasing a moth.

I don't even know.

It's a little bittersweet to see the sunshine again knowing what happened to allow the storm to disappear.

But I have to say that I'm glad to be back at work and cleaning things up. I also shouldn't be left at home for too long because I tend to go on Pinterest binges and I've discovered a few new recipes I'm going to try out and make my own.

I think the one I'm most excited about is blueberry pie ice cream sandwiches, which I'm going to try in some other types of pie as well.

Anyone want to come taste test today?

I can't place why, but this bothers me more than it should.

So while this crazy storm kicks up, I'm taking solace in my house to keep up with the progress of the New Horizon project. Tomorrow is the closest fly by of the probe to Pluto and hopefully it should send back some great data about that little piece of rock I grew up with as a planet.

I also figure it would be a good time to try and write up some of my Dreams. Might help me keep some semblance of sanity. I hope.
