These dreams seem to have something of a sense humour. One day, I'm waking up to find they've given me a rather nice car. The next, I've got a tracking chip embedded in my arm. To what end, I've no idea. Unless by some eerie twist, someone out there can now follow my every movement without my knowledge.

Okay, so basically there's a drive-through convenience store in San Diego that I need to hit up, just for the experience. Who wants a road trip?

Like literally drive-through. You pull up and can order beer, milk, ice cream, maybe some condoms? I can't decide if that's ingenious or really the epitome of good old-fashioned American laziness.

Does anyone ever wonder what happens after they stop dreaming? Does my crew find me before I stop breathing? Do I get my little blue babies? How does the galaxy recover from a hundred billion dead and civilization nearly collapsing? Did I do the right thing in how I ended that war? Was it worth the people I lost? How many more millions of people would have lived if I'd been faster?

It keeps me up at night.

Coffee tastes the best when it's free. I suppose I should be grateful that this child trying to stick up our local convenience store was so incompetent. Robbing a store in broad daylight? Tsk, tsk. It really is amateur hour today.

On the bright side, overall crime seems to be calming down. Perhaps now our civil servants won't feel so overworked.

The Bakery was broken into last night and as such is a bit of a mess today. Nobody was hurt thankfully but they weren't exactly careful when looking for things to steal.

Well folks, here's some bad news that's sure to brighten your day. Police and other law enforcement on this network might want to take note of this, too (and yes, I'm going to file an official report).

Those goons are now really well armed. And I know that because my gun shop got cleaned out at some point last night. Whoever did it didn't even trip up my security system, so marks for that I guess.

Kids came home from school and we've spent the past three hours in the snow building snow X-men and I think I froze my fingers off.

The Reaper Task Force. Dumbest division name in existence. At least it shut me up and I managed to reconnect with my father, among other things, despite the whole 'planet is getting plowed relentlessly by giant alien cuddle fishes.'

Oh. Yeah. Dream talk, should anyone somehow wonder if our planet is actually under attack by an alien cuddle fish. The answer is obviously no.

Every gal in the store wants to try them on but I'm kind of hesitant because if they crack the glass and get shards in their feet that would just mean blood and awkward things. They're definitely special shoes.

I've seen the plastic ones people wear for weddings though. Probably a better option in the long run.

THAT was a fun family scandal to solve. Except for the death-faking. The magic sealing. Being stuck in another dimension. But the Claire Bible manuscript was cool and the new spell is more than nifty. I woke up and scribbled down as much as I could about the manuscript, because, you know, someone thought it was a good idea to destroy it.

My dreams are involving more high-level monsters and from experience, that's never a good thing.

Oh, good, my pumpkin carriage is officially here. I was wondering how long it'd take after my Cinderella dreams started to get to the point when I'd wake up, go to the driveway, and see it sitting there. Not a lot of space in my garage for it but I'll make it work.

I believe I owe someone a spin in it, but I kind of want to get it all tricked out. So it doesn't require horses to pull it. I guess it'd be good for weddings and the like too? Yeah. After these last round of dreams, I'm pretty sure I've practically become the alien Batman of the Galaxy.

Annie and I both just did the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and we donated. Annie might not get what its about exactly but she really wanted to do it. And she even gave me money from her piggy bank to donate. I put it back after she went to bed and donated on both our behalves. It was fun.

But the bodies on the news were killed by a vampire that I sired a few months ago. Tracking him has taken me the better part of a month, and I miss him every time. He has gotten very fast. But I will catch him eventually.

So my therapist said I should try to make friends and this was the place to do it. My name's Coraline (not Caroline) and I'm still kind of getting used to acting like a normal human being again. Bear with me, okay?

Moving into a new place is always an interesting experience. You find so many things while packing up your bags, things you held onto for nostalgic reasons. Some of them have no memory attached to them at all. Curious that we cannot seem to throw them away, even then.

I have a napkin in my duffel bag, I found it while I was unpacking. It's from a bar in Kabul, a place I liked to frequent with a friend of mine. Do you remember the place, Shepard? It's such a silly thing to hold onto, yet I find myself unable to put it in the trash where it belongs. We human beings are such silly things sometimes.

Let's just go with last night was the most random night of my life. I am not entirely sure I liked it. But weird to the max, just totally weird. Random and I don't even know how to explain it. Ugh. So glad I'm not opening the shop today, I'd probably drop an engine on my head.
