Talking about dreams seems to be the current trend on the network right now.

"I am Loki of Asgard, and I am burdened with glorious purpose." Has a nice ring, doesn't it? I'm so glad that we Asgardians are dramatic in everything we say. And my dreams have certainly proven true the statement when one door closes, another opens.

With new dreams, of course, come new faces. I am not surprised to say I recognize some of them (Mr. Stark, always a pleasure).

I grew up in Portland, Maine, but somehow, I never became aware of the North American Wife Carrying Competition that was annually held in Newry, about two hours away. Apparently a couple wins the wife's weight in beer, and five times her weight in cash.

I do accept that that's a substantial weight of cash. It might be the only sport I can see a point in, though I'm not sure I'd try it myself. ... I mean, I have no wife, but still.

I've decided it's time for me to move out of my much beloved condo. It's a perfect living space, but I think I'd like something bigger. Preferably with a basement area.

The thing about being a magician is I like to practice new tricks, and my condo simply doesn't give me the room to do that on the scale I want to.

Simply extending my thanks to everyone who went out to LA last night to see the show. The amount of money raised and donated was truly humbling. Really. I can only hope you all enjoyed watching as much as we did performing for you.

I'm usually not one for shameless promoting (all right, that's a lie), but seeing as this is for a good cause, I'm going to do it anyway.

This weekend I'm going to Los Angeles to do a bit in a magic show. All proceeds will be going to children in need, and, really, who doesn't love a good bit of magic? Most participants are members of the Magic Castle so it's bound to be fantastic.

This isn't so bad.

Having a housemate has taken some getting used to, but having Darcy around has actually been nice. I haven't lived with anyone since my parents during the summers when I was at Harvard, so it was a bit of an adjustment, but my house finally feels lived in.

I'm debating whether or not to attend Tony's party at Disneyland. I've never been before and I'm sure it would be fun, but I'm undecided.

So, bachelor parties. Or specifically, mine.

Before you ask, no, there won't be strippers (unless Thor gets drunk and loses his pants, which I put the odds at 50/50) but I fully intend for it to be an awesome night. Renting out Disneyland for the night, starting at Midnight and going until dawn.

Men, women, whatever. Gender friendly and I am going to personally buy you all mouse ears, all right?

I want to thank everyone who came out Saturday night to watch me. Might not have been a big stadium or anything like that, but being back up on a stage was amazing. Can't wait to do it again this coming Saturday.

Draco, I have something I'd like to ask you.

So, I can reveal my news that I mentioned the other day.

Beginning Saturday night, I'll be performing at [insert name of coffee shop] for the next four Saturdays thanks to Draco Malfoy. Nothing too big, but it's a chance to get in front of an audience again, even if it's a small one.

There are a few faces I expect to see there, at least for the first one. Darcy, Alyssa, Annie, Draco and Yaten. I only ask that no one throw scones. Those fuckers are hard.

I wanted to call off work today as I think I got about an hour of sleep, but it's not really a good enough reason. Still. I think I got some of those dreams that people are talking about. The hell is in the water around here?

I dreamt that I was the Sif - like, from Norse mythology. Not uncommon, I figure, but it was SO real. So vivid that I looked around my room when I woke up and wondered why it wasn't snowing like in Jotunheim. Thor and Loki were my friends. I dreamed I had blonde hair, and Loki cut it off to make me and Thor fight, and I cried and cried.

Anybody have any leads on what's making these dreams all weird? Or any espresso they can bring me?

I'm so lucky I didn't see my boss this morning. He's got eyes that remind me of like, my dad knowing I went out and got trashed. They make the hangover worse. He'd look at me and I'd like, throw myself on his mercy for being an idiot. Even though last night was really fun, and my beads are now wound around the base of my desk lamp.

Now that just makes no fucking sense at all. Just woke up from a dream where I was in World War I. There's no way that can be related to my other dreams. I mean, how could it possibly be related? The dreams in Bristol took place in the present, or not so distant past, and World War I was a really fucking long time ago. That had to have been a regular dream then. Nothing more.

I feel like I should go out and get pissed. Yes, I think I'm going to do that.

It just occurred to me that I'll likely be spending Mardi Gras either at work, or with men who have no interest whatsoever in being flashed.

Sigh.

I have a friend and she is amazing. She's smart. Smarter than a lot of you guys put together, but don't let that put you off. She's brilliant and beautiful and funny. Jane is a really great girl who is sweet and amazing. She definitely needs a date for Valentine's Day. Or any day at all possibly. I'm looking for a guy who can not feel intimidated by how smart she is, and someone who is charming and wants to have a good time.

I've decided that I'm going to be converting half of my basement into a game room and half into a recording studio. Can anyone recommend a good contractor? I want to start this as soon as possible.

I don't get the wine thing. I mean yes, I understand the fermenting of grapes create wine and everything, and I will drink it (because, as is always brought up among my numerous character flaws, I am a near-alcoholic) but a wine walk?

All this talk about ghosts and I go and dream about one. Turns out the house George and I moved in to, in my dream, was haunted. She wasn't like the ghosts you see in all the films though. She was solid; or at least she was to George and I. Turns out, she was the fiance of our land lord who had died. Not gonna lie, she was cute. Really cute. She enjoyed making tea as well. There were cups or tea and coffee all over the house, because she constantly made it even though she couldn't drink it. It seemed like the three of us got on really well.

After dreaming about having two flatmates, my own house is feeling even bigger and emptier than it was before.

I just heard that you can get drunker quicker when you mix alcohol with diet coke instead of regular, cause diet has no sugar and gets into the bloodstream quicker. Looks like my new drink of choice is rum and diet coke.

Since today is my day off, I think I'm gonna try a few of these new cupcake recipes I found last night.

The City of Orange is proud to present the first annual Wine Walk through the downtown shopping district. Many of the storefronts will have sales, but I'm sure the main attraction will be the vintages.

So Valentine's Day! It's coming and we can't stop it but thanks to my wonderful new friend, Glimmer, who had an incredible idea we have come up with THE ultimate Valentine's Day plan.

I have hired a movie theater [address] and we are going to be screening horror films all day - no tickets needed just turn up! And there will be free ice cream, popcorn and the usual goodies too!

So if you want an alternative to the lovey dovey mushy crap that we are all bombarded with then come along!

As I was just reminded that in two weeks, it is valentine's day, I thought I'd do a check now.

Anyone want to do like a anti-Valentine sad and alone kind of party thing? Not like in that stupid damn movie where everyone got together in the end, but a real one. So we're not all alone. Well sort of.

We can watch a bunch of action movies or scary movies and play some paintball or something.
