Learning to cook for more than one person is actually more difficult a task than I might have otherwise imagined.

Sometimes there's only one thing to do when you're faced with this world, all the crap in it, and see things continually getting worse for others as time keeps going on. Sometimes it's not the time to be totally selfish and keep the abilities the dreams have been giving me a secret anymore.

So I think this post is actually me offering help, seeing what I can do if anybody on this thing knows somewhere you can train abilities or where they're gonna be needed later on when something like those blue things crops up. I guess what I'm saying is that I'm an in actual place where I can help, and it's better I don't just hide in the corner whimpering anymore.

I guess in other words, like I said in my dreams, this is me standing up if anybody wants that still.

I don't think I was ever prepared to have this much blood on my hands and now I can't get it off. I get that I did what I had to do, but I don't want to know what I did to end up there in the first place.

The really screwed up part is that I know hell is coming. At some point whatever this thing I am when I sleep is, the one who ends up with hand prints branded on his arm and fights his way for a year in that place...he goes to hell.

I need some really good reasons not to hop in my car and just drive as far away from everyone I care about as possible, because right now staying near anyone seems like the worst idea ever.

You should see some of the stuff I've been picking up this week.

It appears that a most inconvenient situation planet-side is in progress. I trust that everyone is obeying whatever safety precautions have been ordered to keep the general populace safe.

Note: now amended to emphasize the general civilian populace, so that the perimeters of my statement are clearer.

My car broke down earlier this week, and it has been a very unfortunate state of affairs since. Taxis are quite expensive. I am hoping for only a day or two more of this before getting it back.

I do not know about all these things going on, and how safe it is or isn't, but my job seems to think that it isn't a state of emergency enough to close for the time being.

I expect if anyone needed insurance of any kind, it would be now.

As a Christian woman sometimes it is hard for me to understand why God does the things he does to us down here on Earth. Why are there plagues? Famine? Fighting? Death? Why do God's people treat each other so horribly? Sometimes even in his name?

And then I remind myself that God gave us free will so we would have a choice to love him, so it would mean so much more. Without the bad there would be no good. The media likes to show us all of the things going wrong with the world, but there is also good out there. People helping each other just out of the goodness of their hearts. We have to remember that.

Even in my dreams, I'm the fucking bad guy. Guess I ain't surprised. I'm kinda glad that no one in my dreams is here.

Anthony is in Palm Springs for the weekend, leaving me all by myself in a brand new city. But when the cat's away, the mice will play, isn't that how the saying goes?

Though in this case, 'play' mostly likely means go to church on Sunday and find some place to have a really fantastic cheeseburger. I've no doubt he's indulging in all the foods he's not supposed to have while he's out of town, so I feel I might as well do the same.

That does mean, however, I need to find a 'burger joint', I think it's called, and a good Episcopalian church.

Any recommendations for either would be greatly appreciated.

Well... I guess sneaking into places and doing things performing vigilante duties are very common in my dreams. And the performing at a party.

I watched my brother die about a thousand times in my dream last night. It wasn't exactly pleasant. Didn't get much sleep last night, since it was so riddled with dreams. I've been a bit of a waste of space at work today. I'll make up for it. Everyone has one of those days.

It's more than just ghosts and demons, though that's a big part of it. Last night I dreamed of a girl in a coma who was causing all sorts of trouble. And a hunter turned into a vampire, and a pair of pagan gods who take human sacrifices at Christmas time. I have lots of dreams, they take place over days, weeks, and when I wake up it's only been a few hours. Messing with my internal clock.

These dreams are getting worse. Not even 11am and I need a drink.

I had a ton of dreams last night. Now the huge, strange plants are gone, apparently my dreams are coming back in full force.

Apparently my dream father thought I was going to turn evil. I thought I was going to turn evil.

I woke up with a mark on my arm from the dreams. Like a scar. I wonder how much it'll cost to have it removed.

Vampires, Vengeful spirits, mind control... my dreams just keep getting weirder and weirder.

After a long talk with a counselor at school, and with my brother and sister-in-law, I think I'm coming to better terms with what happened during the Blue Flu. I don't know if my relationship with God will ever be the same, but change isn't always a bad thing. I think I've learned a lot, and I think I've grown. I will always love and miss Luis, I will always wonder what could have been, but I will try to release my anger over the situation.

That's all I can do. Turn to love instead of fear and anger.

With all of this talk about whether or not ghosts are real, I should be siding with the 'Ghosts don't exist side'. I'm a man of science and shouldn't believe in things like ghosts. However, I was intrigued recently and decided to do some research. While it's very easy to explain away a lot of the stories that have been reported about supposed ghost sightings, even I have to admit that there are some instances that are more difficult to explain away.

Is it merely a coincidence that so many people are experiencing unexplained instances at the same time?

It feels like everyone is talking about weddings and babies and life on the network lately. Perhaps having such a close experience with death is making everyone take a good hard look at their lives. I know it has brought me closer to God right at the time that I needed it the most. It's hard for me to admit, but a lot of my beliefs were beginning to shake on me before the virus. Now I know better. Now I remember.

I haven't taken the opportunity to do so yet, so we may as well do it now. I have an announcement to make. Regulus Black and I are engaged. We're planning on a long engagement, but I will be sure to keep friends and family updated when we decide on a date.

If I ever see hospital food again it'll be too fucking soon.

They have the audacity to call a lump of apples and dough 'apple pie'. Bullshit.

I got fucked by a horse in my dream last night. A HORSE. And then I was pregnant with a horse. And had to BE a horse while it gestated. And then I...Oh my god and THEN...

Well, I've gotta say I'm glad that's over. The plague thing hit the studio hard, I've gotta say. There are a couple faces I'm not going to be seeing again when I head into the cafeteria on the backlot. One of my writing team, but mostly people that I know from hanging around the industry long enough.

It's...tough, it really is. I haven't felt like doing much outside of burying myself in second season plots we'd all discussed since I don't deal real well with death at the best of times, and that was...kind of the worst I've really dealt with. I know, I'm a big boy, put on the shorts and deal with it, whatever, but really? I don't WANT to be the one who deals with it.

Tell you the truth, I tend to run away from problems, tried to run away from this thing and I managed not to get it myself, but I feel kind of guilty about the fact I did it now. I mean, sure, self interest but still. I could've, I don't know, sent flowers or some crap, I don't know, death's not really my area.

Hell, does anybody want for that to be their area?
