Well that dream was ... terribly depressing. Classic love story, though. Demon leaves hell because it's sick of all the endless murdering, borrows a girlsuit (shut up, Miles), falls in love with a boy who's nothing special except he's everything the demon isn't, Hell sends people to come collect said stray demon, human doesn't understand and thinks his best girl was taken to Hell for no reason, human uses demon's book of summoning to summon that exact demon, demon doesn't want human to be damned for loving it, demon tries to get human to think that girl is a badass killing machine, human endures, human orders demon for girl, demon puts girlsuit back on again and explains things and that it's not worth saving, human goes home and burns book.

Yeah. I tell the person I love that I'm not worth it and it should just go. Meanwhile, demon me is stuck with eternal torment and permanently broken legs. I have to crawl on my belly for all time. I'm sure there's a metaphor there.

Sorry for the rambling, all, I'm just ... I don't know. I woke up kind of upset because of it.

Good bit of news then. More this week in science type bits, though it's a bit weird on timing due to recent events, but no matter. It's still brilliant!

A decapitated planarian worm has been discovered that it can regrow its entire head, including its own memories! Isn't that brilliant? Could lead to a break through in solving memory issues. Wouldn't that be nice really, to be able to just... 'come back'? Perhaps a bit different, but keep all those memories?

And the first artificial heart was declared ready for human trials, and the scientists watched the largest known star's birth in the Milky Way! Fantastic really.

Oh and gene therapy was used to cure two rare diseases... which means gene therapy could quite truly be the next miracle treatment.

Also, not science but history, today marks Disneyland's 58th birthday, as it opened on July 17th in 1955. Big day for this area I suppose...

What's more, I just got my new toothbrush from ancient Babylon. Made from bristling the ends of a twig; also, Ancient Egyptian toothpaste. Made from Ox Hooves' ashes and burnt eggshells!

I think it's high time for an adventure.

I just saw the 2012 Olympics. But I'm fairly sure I traveled to see it from some time around 2006. Was also the torch bearer, and some other things. All in a day's work. No big deal.

Hello. My name is Mary Eunice McKee, and I've just moved here from Baltimore where I was helping with food donations at Community Of Most Precious Blood. I'm a bit ... shy, I confess, and not very good at meeting new people. I hope I can do good works here as well. It feels like I was Called.

I can't believe it. The alien things are gone and I have a dream about being totally kick ass. I wield a whip like a boss and now I really want to try and see if I can do it here.

Other than that everything has been pretty normal. The bakery is fine, I'm learning fast and it's been protected by Audrey's boyfriend who is like an awesome sorcerer. It's pretty handy. I may need to stop eating pastries though before I get fat.

Has anyone here ever had a four shot espresso? Had my first one today. Absolutely brilliant! Not sure the point of it really, although I do have an interesting tingling sensation in my fingertips.

Also I have respackled my wall, which i had no idea that I knew how to do. So there's that. Also, dusted my classroom today. A bit pointless I guess, there's a janitor doing all of that already of course.

I really, really hate the Cybermen.

Sure, the Daleks blew up my Ghettoblaster, but the Cybermen were trying to get the Nemesis statue, and... well, the Professor says that's a big no-no.

Saw the Queen, though, and got a fez from Windsor. That was pretty wicked.

I have a plan. A plan that involves me ignoring weird alien zombies and moving into my new condo after this holiday weekend.

My plan also includes me being very busy for the following days, and possibly forgetting that I am going to be turning an age that is remarkably depressing to look at.

I think my neighbor is a prostitute....or at least a high-class escort/call girl (what's the P.C. term now?). There have been some shady things going on. I'm tempted to put on my deerstalker become the neighborhood detective and go investigating. Wish me luck.

1) Was there ever an Imperial Ballet in Warsaw? I wouldn't actually think so, given that I don't think it was a big deal of a city in the Russian Empire.

Talking about dreams seems to be the current trend on the network right now.

"I am Loki of Asgard, and I am burdened with glorious purpose." Has a nice ring, doesn't it? I'm so glad that we Asgardians are dramatic in everything we say. And my dreams have certainly proven true the statement when one door closes, another opens.

With new dreams, of course, come new faces. I am not surprised to say I recognize some of them (Mr. Stark, always a pleasure).

Got the Tampax spot. ...Which totally sounds weird out of context. I'm going to be acting in some Tampax commercials, and starring in a whole campaign of Tampax print ads. I'm pretty excited about it. If only there weren't Zombies running around, or whatever, today would be a good day.

So this week in science; well, I don't suppose it all happened this week. It's just mentioned this week, but whatever. There molecules inside of naked mole rats that make them immune to cancer... obviously a great chance for the human species to find a way to eradicate the disease.

A battery was printed on a 3D printer, it was powerful and no larger than a grain of sand.

Also, evidence of bacterial DNA in the human genome! Brilliant, or perhaps not.


Fifty years ago today, this isn't exactly science as much as it is history obviously, but still... JFK visits Berlin! Brilliant day it seems, wish I'd been there.

And in two days it will be the 100th anniversary of the second Balkan War! A war that pre-dated WWI, but yet help set it up, and therefore a war that, in all understanding, could have very minutely helped to set up the world we live in today.

HELLO! My name is Valerie Frizzle and this is my first time on a message board thing like this before. So, I'm not entirely sure what I should be writing about, but I might as well give a small introduction about myself.

I am going to Fullerton to get my teaching degree and I want to teach elementary age students. I want to be a general teacher, but I really love science. I play the drums in my spare time and here's a random fact about myself: When I was little my parents told me that my hair was orange because I ate so many carrots (which I loved). So, I tried to go a month without eating a carrot to change my hair color. It obviously didn't work, but my parents had a good laugh about it.

Have you ever had a dream so bad that you were just horrified by the idea that other people from your dreams will eventually have it too? I want to sit outside his window all night with a megaphone and randomly shout things to keep waking him up. He probably doesn't need to sleep anyway.

Last night I had a dream, after weeks of nothing. I can't even remember the last time I had one actually. Not only did I have a dream, but I got another item from it. This time is was a cell phone. A cell phone that The Doctor adjusted so that I could call my mom or pretty much anyone from anyplace in space and time.

As for the dream, we replied to a distress call from another ship and found out that the engines were dead and they were on a crash course with a star and had 42 minutes. The Doctor sent me and one of the ship's crew to open a series of doors to access the engines. Suffice to say, I almost died, but I was able to contact The Doctor before it was too late. Then the tables were turned and I had to save The Doctor.

In real world news, The Bruins need to shape up for Monday. They can't let Chicago win in Boston.

I must not be the only person in the world who confuses Nine Inch Nails with Tool. (Go on, start your laughing now.)

I was on a Super jog with my buddy Mako when we passed a dog park. And the dogs were all singing a Nine Inch Nails song. At least, I think it was Nine Inch Nails.

So! Brilliant news! Scientists have designed a minute, but functional tractor beam. Pretty fantastic. What's more, the quadruple helix was found in human cells for the first time!

Also on this day, in 1788, the United States Constitution was ratified. Pretty big day really, for Americans at least. Really the whole world. Today it is the oldest written constitution in operation in the world. Isn't that fantastic?

Also! I just ran a two mile run, gorgeous day out today. Tomorrow I'll try for three! I love running.

These dreams keep getting weirder. Well naff.

Almost got executed by the Happiness Patrol the other night. They painted the TARDIS bright pink, which... yeah, not a good look for her.

I wanted to give the Valar people first crack at this announcement, since it was on the Valarnet that I got my big break. Alice, I'm sorry for not telling you beforehand, but I literally just got the title and the okay to proceed with the transfer of capital.

Mrs. Tesla has decided to close Fayth, in Mission Viejo, as she and her husband are headed for other pastures. She's sold me the space and the business capital, and with her blessing, I've decided to reopen under a new name. Fayth was Lulu's brainchild, and I would prefer for her brand to stand alone, unhindered by any missteps I might make.

So, as of this morning, though the signage will need some time to be changed? Fayth will reopen as The Mirror. We'll continue to sell ladies' clothes, but we will also focus on the men's line that Lulu and I had been developing. I'm excited, frightened and will soon be hiring for floor and behind the scenes positions.

Operation: Get That Condo I Really Want is going well.
So well, in fact, that my offer was accepted.

So. I guess now it's paperwork and signing things and stuff time.

And then, you know. Moving. And Condo owning.

Hello Network! Turns out, the gala was quite the success... hope you all grabbed the adverts about the cupcake place I got the cupcakes from. Miss Audrey is rather brilliant. Didn't have any of the cupcakes myself, was too busy showing things around, but they sure looked brilliant!

Anyway, right, so no more new galas to report. I do have a new job, it's working at Stanford as a professor of History, brilliant stuff really. I was going to try for a professor of Physics, but they already had that fulfilled.

That all being said, BRILLIANT TO MEET YOU ALL at the gala. And those of you who didn't come, still brilliant to meet you whenever I do!

Now... does anyone know how to sew? I'm not quite sure I've managed it correctly.

So, put in an offer on a very nice seeming condo. Not sure how all this home purchasing business works. Apparently I just wait with fingers crossed now and eventually someone will tell me how that's all going.

It had a very nice kitchen. Maybe I should learn how to really, properly cook.

Last photoshoot with the old agent this week. Hoping the transition from old to new will go smoothly, and that it will open new doors.

To all my model friends out there on Valarnet, I'm putting together something fun for us to do in the first week of June. I've got a couple of photographer friends who are doing an art shoot, and they've contacted a couple of up-and-coming designers. Comment below if you're interested!

It's raining! Absolutely love a good rain, it tastes a bit weird though; then again, just brushed my teeth. Never drink rain after brushing your teeth--though I suppose I'm not drinking the rain necessarily.

Anyway, absolutely brilliant to see those of you at the gala who went; those who didn't, absolutely brilliant to see you in the future when I do!

I just got done reading a couple of books by Neil DeGrasse Tyson; absolutely brilliant man, almost as brilliant as me even. Almost. Still, smart, and love the man incredibly.

I recommend reading them all.

Now I just need another good book, anyone have any sort of suggestions?

Lovely faces all over this network, brilliant thing really. Absolutely love socializing. Which obviously means you do too if you're on it, so that means you should come to my Gala!

Of course I still don't actually have it all planned out, apparently you need to save time at the museum in advance. A bit annoying really, they weren't exactly doing anything today and I already had plenty of stuff ready to go. Still, absolutely fantastic that they said I could! May 5th, Cinco de Mayo, will be the Gala! Day and night and all of that. Well I suppose exhibit is more accurate for the day time aspects...

WHATEVER. Night will have the ballroom open for dancing and music; required quite a bit of discussion, but I was apparently able to get my University President to agree to it.

OH RIGHT! Brilliant news, I'm in the running to be hired by Stanford and the University of Southern California, as a full time professor of their History programs. Already have lists of classes I'd like to teach, proposals of all varying sorts. Just not sure which University I should truly go to.

Each sound brilliant, but each are pretty permanent, not a fan of that; oh well, such is life! I'm sure I'll find plenty of time to travel in the mean time.

What was I babbling on about--oh right, the gala! It will be fun, remarkable fun! I assure you all that you'll want to be there, and if you don't; well, I'm sure your significant other will drag you anyway.

Last night's dream was even stranger than the one about Pluto.

We helped a crew of people from Minyos find their race bank - they called it P7E. The Doctor said his people had... intervened at some point in their history, accidentally become their gods. The technology they'd given them led to civil war, and the destruction of their home planet...

I hope Jackson can restore his people now. The Minyans could have easily been my tribe.

I dreamed of a hotel in space last night. And a Minotaur that feeds on faith. I'd blame it on what I ate before I fell asleep, but we all know better than that, don't we?

Hello everyone!

Sorry for the delay, although, perhaps not as much a delay if you weren't necessarily expecting me, but no matter! I'm here, on this Network, a fascinating place really. Kind of like a Facebook, but better. Well everything's better than a Facebook now, isn't it? That's the 'hipster' thing to say, right?

Right, yes, anyway, back from my trek to the Yucatan, brilliant place really. Meandered all over Belize and Mexico, along with some touches into Guatemala and Honduras visiting mostly Mayan ruins. Chichen Itza is nearly as remarkable as people claim it to be, if not more so; in fact, it is definitely more so.

Came down with an odd rash though, still it's going away. Local healers there were more than happy to show me some medicines located in roots and coconuts and other fauna. Really, it was quite remarkable. In fact, the rash was a blessing! I found I should give myself a rash most places I go to learn a bit more about some local customs.

Nevermind all of that though, I am back and will be returning to work pronto. Well, mostly Monday. So not so much pronto.

I've been so wrapped up in my dreams lately it's sometimes hard to remember that I'm not just the Doctor. I'm also John Smith. I'm a writer. A novelist.

That said, I'd be very happy to invite you all to my book release party. It's a bit less than two weeks -- the Wednesday after next. [Address] My publisher is throwing it, and it's going to be a low key sort of affair, so no need to really dress up.

My book will be available for purchase, too, as it hits the shelves on the next day. If you're interested in books about adventures, travel, pirates and and space dinosaurs, I think you might like it.
