Just a little reminder that should you need a coffee or pastry to help you through the day both Baxter locations will be open until Midday!

We also have Turkey shaped cookies for a little bit of fun.

I hope everybody has a wonderful day!

I don't usually do this, but it seems time to make a change.

Things I'm Thankful For:

1. Alternatives to Starbucks
2. A brother that does not wish to rule the world by any means necessary
3. L-Corp staff (I hope you have received your gifts by now)
4. California's version of sweater weather
5. New friends
6. Faulty elevators

Feel free to add yours.

I got demoted, watched my mentor die, then traveled half-way across the quadrant to stop a mad man from destroying Starfleet.

Last thing I dreamed was a... mirror of another dream.

Months ago, I dreamed of the time Spock died. How he'd sacrificed himself for me and the ship after we'd defeated Khan. That was the first quantum reality. My prime self, as it were.

In this new alternate universe I've dreamed of, where Vulcan was destroyed thanks to Nero, we faced a different, surgically altered version of Khan.

I'd been half-expecting it for years, after the older Spock mind-melded with me. He'd tried to hide it, but I saw. The event was too ingrained in both myself and him to ever be forgotten or hidden. So I knew, instinctfully, that Khan meant Spock dies. And when the time came, I figured out exactly how.

So this time, I went into the reactor to save the ship before he could.

Seems like I've got a running theme of dying for starships named Enterprise. And a man named Spock.

Happy Thanksgiving?
