So nothing weird to report. Except for the strange homeless man that attempted to lick me in an effort to...I don't even know. I was too busy trying to avoid getting licked by a stranger. Today's been interesting.

Maman is disappointed in me but I still feel that the detention is unfair. If the French teacher at my school does not want me correcting her than perhaps she should not make such obvious mistakes in class when I am in there.

So I apparently wasted money on getting Aslan a dog bed. He prefers sleeping on the foot of my bed and honestly - I don’t have the heart to figure out a way to stop it. It’s not like he’s crowding me and it reminds me a bit of being back at my parents.

While I’m thinking about it - any recommendations of cookbooks that would be good for a beginner? The girls haven’t complained yet but I’m sure they’re eventually going to grow tired of macaroni and cheese or peanut butter and jelly sandwiches every day. And that I’ll grow tired of ordering takeaway all the time.
