A month and a half until the Toronto Film Festival and the office is already buzzing with talk and speculation. We've got a pool going too. I love working at the studio especially around awards time. Though for me it's always about the clothes.

This goes out to all the archers out there. Anyone interested in a little archery contest? Doesn't matter if your skill comes from the dreams or if you studied in the waking world. I'm just really curious about all the other archers out there. Never would have thought that dreams about archery would be so popular.

Working as a forensic archaeologist, I really should not be astounded at the cruelty of humanity given I see the effects of it quite often. Yet here I am, astounded by someone's cruelty. At least this was not a case I was working on. I do not think I would have been able to handle it.

There's going to be a meteor shower tonight! According to my research the best time to watch it is just a few hours before early sunrise. I usually don't stay up so late but... oh well, what's the harm? It is an uncommon celestial occurrence after all. There's something so peaceful about looking up at the stars. I always seem to wonder what it's like out there.

Ooh, I hope I can find a good spot to watch it! Somewhere not too well let... And I'll need to take my binoculars... Oh I suppose I should bring Skippy along too, although he'll probably just sleep through it all...

There's a meteor shower tonight, the Delta Aquarids apparently. Seeing as it doesn't seem to be related to the end of the world or anything, I might go out on the roof and enjoy it for a bit. Would anyone like to join me?
